Rivera gasped. She had completely forgotten about the kimono contest. "Oh my god! It started already? Crud..." She quickly detatched the backpack from her back, the left strap of her dress slipping as she did so. Adjusting the strap again, she removed a small box package from the bag. "I'm going to go and get changed, but I wont let you see my kimono until I compete. My entry number is 10, I think... so I should probably get going." Holding both her Sproinky backpack and the cardboard box package to her chest, she began to run off towards a secluded place near the back of the stage to change.
"You go first! You'll see me onstage!" She stopped to tell him that much before dashing off again. Her speed was phenomenal... two seconds took her completely out of sight.

Yuri decided he would leave her other wounds to heal on their own, in the flame her wounds from the kunai would probably heal on their own simply from it's healing power. He waited a few moments after he finished wraping her other arm to pull the tape to his mouth and rip it again....this time the cut was clean. He finished the arm completely and put the tape back in it's place. Yuri waited a mometnt and looked down at her resting his hand on her stomach abesnt-mindedly. "Suka's a wolf...even after this long without any peers of the same species, he still has certain instincts that he cannot overcome at times...I wouldn't take offense to it if I were you. I would simply be glad it was over." he finished his outspoken thought and confirmed it with a short nod, his empty silver eyes looking into hers now. As he helped the girl, he felt more and more content with what he was doing since he had not been in contact w8ith any of the school's members other than Yuki. Maybe He'd be able to make a friend out of this experience, it was very unlikely, especially with Kana's silence, but he would not really keep himself from hoping...
Suka thought for a moment, and took off his ripped shirt, dropping it on the ground and looking at his wounds from Yur's attack and from his failed attempts at penetrating Kana's wind. "You worry about me even still?" he looked down at her sadly, how could he still be worrying about him when he had done something like that? He noticeds that he had not suplied her with an answer, but he returned his eyes to his wounds, pushing on his neck wound and as it gushed blood out onto his fingers, he brought them out to his fae and up to his eyes so he could look at them, the thickness of the blod was what he was worried about-and it seemed to him that he was still in a healthy condition for in the longrun. He had multiple cuts across his well-built stomach from the whit lightning that had struck him so hard. From the energy he had cuts along h arms, though they stopped before his arm-gauntlets and they were not bleeding very much, even in comparison to his stomach. He could not see them, but his back was bleeding now aswell. The blood dripped down to his tail, though he ignored it and sighed long and slow, loking at her with his neck tilting his head her way. "The only time I'm not is when I'm dead..." he answered her question like that, and his wings retracted roughly. Maybe that answer would keep her from asking next time he was injured, it was hard to let someone worry about him so much, he was always letting himself get into dangerous situations that very often landewd him inches away from the tip of deahth's scythe-someties literally. With Karin worrying about him, he would have reason to value his own life in a situation like that...which was definitely a flaw.

Kana's hand relaxed its grip on her shirt as he finished with her arm, as she realized she might have been making it harder for him to do so. She certainly didn't want to trouble him when he was already taking the time to help her even though he had no reason to, as far as she could tell. She still didn't know why he'd said he felt responsible. Her ears twitched and tilted towards him as she slowly opened her eyes once more, listening to him speak. Though, her face first flicked to his hand, which was on her stomach, and she blushed a shade or two darker. She didn't move though, and didn't want to disrupt the injuries on her arms either. So she remained as if paralyzed, not moving an inch, as she looked up at him again, her eyes still slightly wide before they slowly sunk to a half closed position. "O-oh..." she said faintly and then remained silent for a moment, just staring up at him. She'd never seen anyone with silver eyes before. She'd seen Karin's gold, but never silver. She blinked a couple times and then let a very, very weak smile come over her face. "I'm... Kana Oshiru," she said quietly. "It's... nice to m-meet you..." It had suddenly dawned on her that she hadn't yet introduced herself and, strangely enough, she felt guilty for that as well. She closed her eyes and bowed her head, though only accomplished letting her chin slump to her chest. "Thank you f-for your help..."

Karin nodded her head very slightly at his question. She couldn't help it though. She'd let herself grow attached to him so she still didn't want to see him hurt, despite what he did. She wasn't sure what she'd do if he had suceeded in killing Kana though... She quickly bit her lip and banished the thought, tears still streaming down her face. Her gaze dropped instantly to the ground as he touched his neck and her hands clenched a bit tighter at her sides.
She really did hate to see people get hurt, and when it was people she liked, it was even harder. She especially hated that she'd been completely unable to help in any way. Damn it... she thought quietly, biting her lip still. Her claws were threatening to dig into her palms from how tightly her hands were clenched, but she didn't relax them at all. She looked up once more as he spoke, but her ears still remained flattened sadly to her head. She averted her eyes from any of his injuries though, and instead stared off into space beside him. She didn't react to his words aloud. They didn't seem true to her, but she definitely didn't feel like arguing right now, and it was obvious his views on things were much different than hers. She hadn't realized it, but the fur on her tail was standing on end again.
After a couple seconds, she slowly raised her hands to her face and wiped away some of her tears. Her hands were still balled into fists though, and the tears didn't slow at all, so it was a pointless act. She hated just standing there and doing nothing though. She felt so helpless... She gritted her teeth now as well, bowing her head back to the ground so that her face was completely by her hair, which fell forward.

Yuri looked down at he, smiling lightly as she replied to him. Hearing her name, he smiled even more...she still seemed to be friendly in this condition...how that was possible for her he couldn't tell, but it wasn't a bad thing-it was actually a fact that was capable of cheering him up more at the moment. Little could do that. Ever. So he was happy with this...and he looked down at her as his smile left his face for no reason in particular. "It's good to be able to help you...my name is Yuriuko Hiroshika-though Yuri is better if ever you need to call my name..." He said this and his eyes flickered a bit from the flames as he flattened his palm on her stomach and then blinked at the softeness of what he'd thought was his knee when he set his hand down. He did not move it thogh, unable to really feel embarassed about such a thing after healing someone he didn't know over someone he did just moments before.

Suka looked at her for a moment, and thought to himself about what he'd done to her by attacking Kana...even though he knew what he'd done, if he thought harder on the matter he might be able to create an alternate situation in which something might come of both of them that he might have missed or not calculated on happening if he'd done what was needed to change it that way. He opened his left hand, and his two daggers came flying toward him, he grabbed both of them in his hand and slipped one in hii left ocket, stabbing himself in the neck with the other and digging it in far, wincing every time it moved...it looked like an attempt at suicide as he continued to dig it further into his neck, but as the point of the blade began to stick out through his skin on the other side, he pulled it out wuick andopened his mouth from the pain, as if he were going to yell though no sound came out. He'd cut through his voice box accidentally, though that would heal with the return of his blood, so his focus was on the shattered tip of the kunai that had struck him, the tip had shttered inside of his neck because of the wind. He took it off of the blade and slipped it into his pocket as he hurriedly made the silent, internal command for his blood to return. It flooded through his owunds and they close d with the refill on his blood, his woudn in his neck was first and then the wound in his arm where he'd cut himself at the beginning of the fight. The cuts from the Lightning attack did not heal though, Yuri's attacks on him never did for some reason. Though with natural ime they would heal...right now he ignored them as he started to breath heavily again and let hiis voice out in a low humming just to check if it was going to be able to work. Once he was satisfied with the sound it made, and his neck was completely sealed, his skin grew less pale and his eyes switched to black, his tial stiffening and his eyes shoting in Karin's direction. He'd forgotten she'd been sitting htere as he stabbed himself.

Kana lifted her head, looking back up at him again after a second. She blinked, but then smiled back as he did. Her ears were perking again. Really she'd mainly been shocked more than anything from what had happened, but she was slowly getting herself over it and able to act almost normally. Though, she still didn't move her arms at all, and left her right one still clutching her shirt tightly while the injured left was lying palm up on the grass beside her. The pain didn't really bother her all that much though, since she was very used to it. The thing that'd most terrified her was that she'd been coughing up blood, though that seemed to have stopped already and she wrinkled her nose slightly as she swalloed the bit that was left in her mouth, not wanting to spit it out and possibly get some on him. Though, he had wiped it on his pants already... She listened quietly as he replied and then nodded her head. "It's n-nice to meet you, Yuri..." she said again, this time including his name in the statement. She paused though, eyes flicking towards his hand as it seemed to flatten more firmly upon her stomach. She didn't move though, and just stared at it for a moment as her face flushed even darker. Then she looked back up at him, not sure what to do or say.

Karin jumped slightly in alarm as Suka's daggers came flying back at him, and then cursed herself silently for doing so. She really didn't want to be afraid of him, but she was, and so far nothing had been done to help that. The'd just been standing there mostly silent, she purposely three feet away from him at all times. That wasn't helping either. She felt absolutely horrible. She lifted her gaze back to him in time to see him stabbing himself. Her mouth actually fell open, her eyes extremely wide. What the hell was he doing? She wanted to shout at him, but she was too shocked to say anything. By the time she'd regained her voice, he'd pulled it back out.
She blinked at him several times, watching as he put the dagger away again the blood flooded back to him. She breathed out quietly, assuming he was healing himself. Her ears finally perked very slightly as she heard the humming noise he'd made, though she wasn't sure why. Her eyes flicked to the wounds she could see on his stomach, waiting for them to heal. She frowned when they didn't, but kept silent. She jumped very slightly again as he looked at her, taking a small, half step back. His eyes had changed again.. She stared back at him quietly, ears already drooping again in shame from having backed away.

He nodded when saidit was nice to meet him, that seeed so formal to him-though he was not going to keep from replying back to her."I feel the same..." he spoke with a small smile and then blinked a few times as he notcied the shade of red that her face as now...why was she blushing? And why so much? He did not ask, decided to leave that as it was and looked out of the flame at Suka and Karin, catching Suka stab himself and losing one of his eyes as he did, watching it from that distance as it edged it's way toward rippping out of the other side. "Are you feeling any better?" he asked, refering to the uncovered wounds and the internal wounds, which he was unable to fix. She was able to speak, or at least she was letting herself speak now-so he assumed she was feeling better, though she stammered a little with some of the things she said-thsi reminded him of Yuki, so he was not being too conversational at the moment. "The flame should be helping a little..." he hoped to make that clear so that she knew why it was there. If he had known her better, he would have asked if he could try and help her internal problems aswell-though he did not and therefore could not bring himself to ask suh a question. He was probablt not trusted enough by her yet for that, so he sat there and waited for her answer instead.

He waited for her to say something, and smiled lightly as she kept silent, noticing the movement hs'ed made...he ould see she was frightened-though that made him feel good for some reason. That was hat he got out of attacking her friend, another poor soul that fered hi...he was releived that he had not come out with nothing, but that the soul was hers made him frown for just a second before smiling again. "I need a shirt..." he said, thinking for a moment and then taking two steps toward her very swiftly, looking straight down at her to watch the way she reacted to him...he'd have to be extra gentle for a while to reduce her fear in him. He'd done it once before..but then ended up killing the person he wasgentle for, so it was a lose lose situation. Anyway, he did not thinkit would end up that way this time, because Karin was a cat and was not quite as competive as he was...plus there were things left unfinished with her...such as her training.

Kana blinked again and then smiled back once more, though she was still immensely embarassed. She wasn't going to jerk away or anything, partly afraid that she'd end of making her condition worse somehow. She definitely did not want to end up coughing up more blood or anything. That had been terrifying. It reminded her of something... She let her thought trail off unfinished as she followed Yuri's gaze towards Suka, her blue eyes widening in alarm as she saw what the male was doing. She blinked several times, as though thinking she was seeing things and that would help. But when it was still happening, she just stared at him in alarm for a while until Yuri snapped her out of it. Then she blinked a few more times before looking back up at him and nodding her head, eyes still wide. "Y-y-yes..." she stammered, obviously shaken up. But she tried to calm herself as he mentioned the flame. Her eyes went to it now as she stared at it for a moment and then took a deep calming breath. "...ok," she said quietly, even more thankful suddenly that he'd shown up when he did. She wasn't aware that he'd been watching for a while before helping, but would have been thankful either way. "I'm feeling b-better, I think..." Though, she realized suddenly that she was breathing slightly heavily, and that each breath brought a sudden pain to her chest. She hadn't realized until now since she hadn't been paying attention to that.

Yuri nodded twice and his eyes moved back to her when he decided everything was alright by Suka...he was not in the mood for cleaning up after a suicide of one of his closest friends. He stopped the fight for nearly the same reasons, if Suka had gone too far and killed the girl he was almostcertain that Karin would butt in further and try and avenge her fallen ally, or even just contradict the way he was thinking-which might lead to him fighting her aswell. If that had happened then one of them would have ended up dead, and if they did that then he'd have to souls to gather...he was the one who had to do such things, for with the Reaper residing within him, he could not do much to keep from having the responsibility of reaping the souls of at least his fallen comrades. The rest gathered in one area or another, and he was able to go retrieve them from there once a month, sending them to the Realm of Death and riding himself of the burden of carrying them for a while. He had to reap the sous personally though, if someone died near enough to him...even the souls of those cloe to him when they were in other realms. So by helping this girl, he was helping himself at the same time...and right now, he had something to enjoy about it aswell, seeing as Kana had such a likable personality. "I'm happy that you're feeling better...I'll stay with you until you're back to good health"he said this and msiled again, a faint smile with the adition of hiswide silver eyes gazing back at ther this time.

Karin stared at him for a moment longer, blinking as he smiled. She had no idea where here was worth smiling about, but apparently he'd found something. She wished she could find something, but she still had tears streaming down her face. Other than that, she gave no sign at all she was crying. She simply stood with her hands still clenched at her sides, staring straight at him, with tears dripping from her face to the grass beneath her. She sighed quietly as he spoke and nodded her head slowly in agreement, but still said nothing. She wasn't sure what she could possibly say at this point. Her eyes widened slightly as he approached her quickly, and she took another half step backwards, enough of her willing herself to stay in place that that was the only distance she retreated. Then she stood again, ears still drooping horribly as she stared at him once more, eyes no longer widened. She clenched her hands tighter so she wouldn't shake. She wouldn't allow herself to shake in fear before someone she was fond of.

Kana nodded her head very slowly, eyes shifting almost fearfully back towards Suka. Though she let out a quiet, and rather shaky sigh of relief as she saw he appeared to be ok again. She certainly was strange. He was a wolf demon, who'd just come very close to killing her, yet she was honestly relieved to see that he seemed to be alright. She'd been in a sort of daze so it hadn't fully registered right away, but she suddenly realized that lightening had been really scary. She couldn't imagine being struck by it. Her gaze shifted back to Yuri as she watched him for a moment, her ears perked and still tilted towards him as he spoke once again. She nodded her head very slowly, smiling up at him. "M-me too," she replied, but froze at the second half of his statement. She blinked at him, her eyes widening once more. "Wh-what?" she cried, speaking much louder than she had since they'd met. She often overreacted about nothing at all. She'd kept herself from doing it until now, but this time he'd absolutely shocked her with his statement. She couldn't possibly waste more of his time! "You can't- What if you- Don't you have other things to do?!" she cried, cutting herself off several times as she stumbled over her words, trying to think of something to say. She opened her mouth to add something else, but suddenly coughed again, sending another spurt of blood into the hand that'd darted up to catch it. She stared at it for a moment and then shut her eyes tightly. "S-sorry..." she said, her voice reduced to a whisper now. She took several deep breaths, still finding it somewhat hard to breathe, and an occasional gurgling sound came from her throat as she tried breathing past the blood that was there. She frowned, eyes still shut, as she spit a little of the blood into her hand and then wiped it onto her shirt, but away from her stomach where his hand was.

Yashi led Suixing upriver to an empty area next to the flowing stream. They sat there for a moment in silence, watching sakura petals fall onto the stream, creating cascading ripples. Yashi's raven black hair ruffled in the light breeze, and Suixing nervously twiddled with her beautiful deep blue-and-gold dress. Yashi sighed, and began, "Your probably wondering why I brought you here. Well I have a confession to make." Suixing nodded, notifying Yashi that she was listening and that he should continue. "Well, Erm..." Yashi continued, beginning to blush slightly,"I really like you Suixing...and i mean more then just a friend..." His voice trailed off. Suixing was dumbfounded, but then quickly thought it out and found it possible. She then said, "I-I don't know what to say...but...erm...I like you too."Suixing said, blushing 7 different shades of red. "Oh, and," Yashi began, a hint of relief in his voice, "Can you please enter the kimono contest?" Suixing pondered on the question for a while, then smiled and replied, "Sure." And with that they walked back to where their friends were waiting, hand in hand.
