Tough call; though it's between the percussion section, the low brass section, and the trumpets.
Percussion is *never* ready to play, irresponsible, and not even decent in sound. I also have the faint impression half of them can't even read sheet music.
The low brass section (of which I am a part of) has attitude problems; focused mostly on two upstart Freshmen trombone players who think they're better than a Sophomore and a Senior. Also, said Freshmen have a huge problem keeping their mouths shut; which was brought to the fore during a full-band recording of recent concert pieces.
And the trumpets...Well, a combination of the two other groups. Several of them have problems reading notes, which results in frustrating (and wasted) practice sessions and the overwhelming urge to force the offenders to swallow their instruments. Further, they talk most of any other group, and are extremely conceited.

I don't like piccolos! The one we had was kinda stuck-up... and she hated me, it think. Just because I couldn't play loud enough on the oboe/piccolo soli. Good thing we had two oboes!

in concert band i'd say trumpets because of their attitudes(i say this and yet i play trumpet...) in marching: trumpets again cause none of them know what a line is.

The most disliked instrument in my band is probably the oboe...I don't think anyone likes it. My school band is getting smaller and smaller....everyone is dropping out. We lost 2 tenor saxs, a couple of percussion, and 2 flutes, but some are switching to different instruments. I hate having a small band.

Most of the people in Symphonic band last year hated piccolo. The player and insturment. They said she sounded really bad. And she's apparently a drama queen? I don't know her exceptionally well though, so I never had reason to hate her. The piccolo is a bit shrill though, but so is any instrument played badly.
