Shinichi glared at her, then dove as deep as he could, still determined to test his theory. One failure meant little, especially when he was still alive. He pushed forwards, breaststroking as hard as he could and even adding a small kick at the end to propel himself forwards. That was it, one stroke at a time until he reached his goal.

He took a deep breath of air, satisfied that his small experiment had worked out in the end. The currents could also be even worse down there, but there was no way to tell unless he also tried swimming at the surface. Shinichi breathed slowly in through his nose, this time swimming near the surface with his freestroke. He didn't have to take as deep a breath, although the current still seemed to drag him in the opposite direction.

He was tiring already and one more messup could mean him failing this exercise. Shinichi ground his teeth and glanced upwards at the hazy sunshine from beneath the waters. After this lesson, no matter how tired he was, he would practise some more with shuriken... and persuade Koro-sensei to let him borrow some scrolls or something. There was no way he could be a ninja without gaining the knowledge needed to be one. With this in mind, Shuriken breaststroked forwards.

[I'm going to be leaving for awhile. I'm not exactly sure when I'll be back. Let's say its the weekend and school's out. We'll change the 0 - 5 to a normal DC Fail.]
Koro went in to get both Sumire and Shinichi. This was a little work for him as well. Setting both students on shore, he smiled as he felt a warm ray of sunshin beam down through the bamboo stalks. The rain was letting up into a light mist now. This was the perfect weather. Standing up, he held out his hands to let the mist tickle his skin. "Well, seems it won't be so hard to get across now," the teacher said, walking over to the other side of the river. Ruffling up Aya's hair with his hand, he told them all "I think you guys will be ok on your own for awhile. You all did good today. Enjoy your weekends and I'll see you monday."

Aya shook her head like a puppy, letting water whip off of it. Smiling up at her teacher, she gave him a nod. "Thank you sensei! You have a good weekend too," the little girl said, before she slid back into the river. Of course, she had to get back across to get back to the village. There was a bridge farther down, but this was much funner. Slipping into the water, she began her first strokes towards the other side.

[So, now that I leveled up my swim and I leveled up my taijutsu earlier, I get to add a point to strength, right? My DC stays at 12, because I already did the DC: 10 training.]

"Hoooola!" A loud voice, which was no other than Izuki's rang out to his classmates who seemed to be having a hard time in the river just like he did. Sumire and Shinichi were on shore while Myobi and Aya swam in the water. Plopping down on the ground next to two, he smiled. "Did you drown? Did sensei give you mouth-to-mouth," he said with a perverted look on his face while making a kissy noise, hoping that it would at least make Sumire blush. Rolling away from the two, yes rolling, he went back over to where he had ran in from. Hopefully, his cousin was following in after him. "Let me introduce, Chidori No. 2!" the boy said, waving his arms like a show case girl for Zephel's big entrance!

"uhh hi."zephel was embarrsed of the sudden intro his cousin was giving him to his friends."you gottta always be like don't you.zephel tryed to cover hs emarrsed look with his sleeved arm.which covered his marked arm.He sighed and shook his head.

"Hi Zephy!" the little girl from the other side of the river called out while flashing her bright smile. She couldn't hear what Izuki was saying to Sumire and Shinichi, but she did hear the introduction. She needed to get back across the river to meet this new family member of Izuki's. Taking a deep breath, she dove under the water.

Izuki didn't know what to say to his counsin's remark, so he just smiled and pointed at himself. "Momakage says I'm special," he said proudly while still sitting up on his knees from introducing his cousin. "Let's do something guys! I wanna...." he said, starting to think outloud, but it was true... he never had any ideas.

Coming up above the water, Aya had reached the middle of the river. This however, was where the water was the deepest and where the strongest currents were. Staying above the water, she brought her arm over to swim forward. If anything she would have to stop and wade for a moment to get away from the current, but hopefully she could keep going.

Aya had to stop. The current was too strong. Laying on her back slightly, she waded in the water, not moving forward and not moving backwards. After a moment of catching her breath, Aya tried again to move forward and get away from these currents.
