Aquos had tried to claim Sienna down, since it was too early, but quickly gave up on that since he relized he'd be that excited too. "Congraduations Karounos and Naida." he said to them and bowed to them to be respectful, like he always was.

Santos laid down with his paws over his eyes when Adia took Ama away and let out a huge yawn. He hadn't been sleeping well lately and that little wake up call didn't help. He uncovered his eyes and waited for Naida's news, and when it came he grinned as wide as he could, too tired to whoop. "Congrats Naida!"
Arsenic bowed his head to Naida and Karounos, with a kind smile. "Congrats," he offered simply, not needing more than that simple word.
Razi looked up at Naida with his head tilted. "More cubs?" she grinned happily. "Awesome!"
Nimbus bowed to Naida with a smile before standing up straight and looking around. "Well I suppose since most everyone is here, it's a perfect time to let you know that I have two peices of news myself. Mother, Father.. This mostly concerns you, but everyone deserves to know."

Adia nuzzled her now disheartened son and let her gaze fall on Santos. She couldn't tell if he was just tired or unhappy but seeing him as such made her unhappy. However she didn't get a chance to speak to him as Nimbus stepped forward and spoke. Adia perked her ears forward in curiousity to her oldest sons words. What could be important for them to hear?
Amador curled up against his mothers chest not caring about what the others spoke of. His mind was in it's own little world where he pondered a way to hide from Santos. He was ashamed of himself now. He had actually managed to anger his father and he didn't want to face him again if he could keep from it. Anger wasn't something shown by his father very often but he'd shown it at him. He could already imagine the disappointment in his eyes everytime he would look at him. It made him want to cry until he was just a shriveled up piece of fur.

Santos' ear shot straight forward when Nimbus spoke. "Important to us?" he looked at Amador and pried him away from his mother so her couled craddle him between his paws. He knew he gave most of the pride apretty good scare with his anger but he was honestly justreallytired. He'd apologize later. Right now her justnuzzled his son and waited for Nimbus' news.
Nimbus sort of shied for a second before speaking. "Mom.. Dad.. You're gunna be grandparents," best to be straight forward with it, "Sky is pregnant with my cubs," he was grinning by this point. He was going to be a father and it warmed his heart.
Santos pratically died. "What?!" oh god he was so old! "Grandparents? You've got to be kidding! I don't know whether to be happy or sad. Ugh You make me feel old! But proud of mychildren. And still old!" he groaned and reached up to nuzzle his oldest with a sigh. "Congrats son. Now, the other news?"
Thatr made Nimbus gulp. "Well.. Me and Sky.. We want to start our own pride. I thought about it for a loong time, and I'm going to make it right next to yours. 'Heaven's Hopes'. I thought it would be perfect to make my own pride, now that I'm going to have a family an all. And I won't be far away! I guess I'm just looking for your blessing?" he was talking quite fast by now, wanting to get everything off his chest. He knew he didn't need his parents permission to leave, but he would feel guilty without it.
Santos' eyes widened and he looked to Adia for her reaction before saying anything. He too knew that Nimbus did not need their permission, but he knew Nimbus wouldn't leave without it, no matter what. And that would make him unhappy.

Adia was completely silent through Nimbus' speech. She was slow taking it all in as she realized Santos was looking to her for her reaction. ...She was going to be a grandma and on top of that her oldest son would be leaving to make his own pride. It was almost too much to take in at once but she took it and with grace as she hid the tears wanting to spring forth as she spoke. "Nimbus of course you have our blessing. I couldn't dream of denying you a family of your own."
Amador almost felt like jumping up and running as Santos yanked him from Adia. However he stayed with his face burried into Santos' mane. He didn't want Santos to look at his face. The fear of seeing disappointment or even worse more anger in his eyes scared him to death.

Santos nodded in agreement with Adia. "You forever have our blessing, and our arms are forever open to you and your new family and pride. Allies for forever more," he grinned at Nimbus. At least he would still be close by, and there would obviously be communication regularly. He now looked down at Amador again, pulling him away to look him in the eyes. He had neither anger, nor disappointment in them, but pride. He was proud of his children, all of them.
Nimbus grinned with a releived sigh. "I'll be leaving as soon as possible. I don't want Sky to be alone for too long, she's pretty far intoher pregnancy and I fear the worst," he reached down and nuzzled his mother. and nodded to Santos. "Allies forever more."
Arsenic had sat back and listened for the majority of the time. His big brother, his boulder, was leaving the pride. He was being left to be the big brother and take care of the little siblings, all alone. For some reason, that made him pretty happy. And on top of that, he was going to be an Uncle!

Adia's vision blurred as her eyes began to tear and she nuzzled Nimbus back. "I'll be sending Zeeza to check on you when I cannot come myself. Be safe my Nimbus cub." Adia said giving a light lick to Nimbus' cheek. Seeing Nimbus part from them made Adia feel as though she was losing part of herself.
Amador was frowning when Santos picked him up so he could look him in the eyes. He only glanced at Santos' face before he turned his eyes down cast to his black mane he only wished he could go back to hiding in. His fear on what he would find in Santos' gaze kept him from meeting his gaze. He knew whatever he found was bound to hurt to look at.

Aquos bowed to Nimbus after the blessing was given. "Congraduation to you to Nimbus...Or should I be calling you King Nimbus?" he smiled. "I hope you the best of luck with your new pride and I hope we'll be able to visit you soon."

Amador's little wake-up call had not affected Mikhail seeing as he'd begun sleeping outside, away from a certain lion's presence. Not wanting to face Aquos, Mikhail kept to the shadows, letting the others bask in the happiness they deserved. His eyes were half lidded as he listened now, feeling a certain numbing coldness. When Nomis had walked up he'd wanted to go with her, but had backed off when she walked to stay with her father. More cubs now and Nimbus was leaving...
He sighed and began to prowl away with drooping ears, feeling as wanted as a wound left to fester.

Nomis peered around, noticing a mising presense of the group. With a final nuzzle to her father's foreleg, and a smile to Nimbus and a quiet "Congratulations", Nomis snuck away from the rest of the pride, sneaking up beside Mikhail, "You don't have to hide, you know." She sat beside him, "It's not good to be lonely all the time." Her words had a double meaning, both relevant to him and herself. But she felt his pain, and when she as near him, it was somehow supressed, even if only one part, and even if only for awhile. She hoped she helped him as well - though she knew his pain ran deeper...

He gave her sad smile as he turned to her. "I'd be just as lonely over there as well. Only difference is if I'm over here, I don't have to see them and feel my heart stabbed over and over. ...Oh, crongratulations. You're going to have more brothers and sisters, huh?"

Nomis shugged and nodded, "I guess so." Truth be told, she didn't much care. As little as she was around the pride, it made no difference to her one way or the other. There was a good chance that Sienna would be the favorite, and they wouldn't know her name, or that she was their sister, so it didn't matter to her at all. "But seeing you lonely makes me feel lonely."

He smirked, though it didn't seem to reach his eyes. "Then I guess we can keep each other company. That way neither one of us is lonely." ....well...less lonely anyway. Everyone was so happy right now with the arrival of more cubs. But to him, it was only a reminder of his own circumstances. How he himself had been left to die.

She nodded and sat beside him, "That sounds like a good deal to me." So there they sat, the two lonely cubs of the pride, hidden by shadows, the rest of the pride oblivious to their struggles, but they had found a sort of companionship in each other. Nomis smiled to herself at this thought - she had a friend that she would never give up.

Nimbus began to tear up as well as he nuzzled Adia and licked her cheek. "Please don't cry, Mom, It'll only make leaving harder. I already told you the pride will be right next to this one, just a days jog, maybe a half a day if you run fast enough. Please don't cry," he begged her as tears flowed down his own cheeks. He'd still stop by ever once and a while to check up on things, and Zeeza and Michuru would keep the two prides well infromed.
Santos listened to his son and nodded, tears forming in his own eyes. Not tears of sadness. Tears of joy and pride. His oldest son was leaving to start a family. He raised Ama's chin to make him look at the face of a loving father, who had a smile plastered a mile wide across his muzzle. "Amador I'm not mad. You know Ilove you, right? Nothing could change how much I love my children, all of my children, that includes you."
Razi was crying up a storm by this point though. "Bubba! I don't want you to go!" his paws were outstretched reaching for his brother as tears stained the ground and his fur. First Bubba would leave, then Arny, and then maybe Dav! What if he was left all alone?!
