oh catastrophe x3 AshWufei oh catastrophe x3 That's me playing my electric. It's a crappy Yamaha eg112.
That is my prize guitar. <3 Celebrity Ovation Acoustic/Electric Roundback. <3333Nice rock star hair cool If it were a bit bigger it could almost qualify as "hair metal"! .... I can make it bigger. But... I got my hair cut yesterday. And When I told the lady to not cut it all off... She did anyway. I slapped her when she tried to cut my bangs. ;-; It looks good though, that's all that matters. Personally mine's getting grown down to my mid back biggrin

It looks nice. 3nodding ------ Here's me being an idiot with my guitar. Nothing special, it's a Behringer "V-Tone" (I think) Stratocaster look-alike. Nothing great, but it gets the job done. *sigh* I'm an alright guitarist, so I make it seem a little better than it really is. I'll be stuck with it for a fair while though, I think. Ignore the date on it, it was actually just a bit earlier this year.

AshWufei anyone else? Come on, people! Here's a couple of mine for anyone who never bothered to read any of the previous pages: That's a nice looking Telecaster, where is it made again, Korea right? Those string trees and saddles look a little bit...different though neutral I do like the 5 hole pickguard though, I think they look better than the 8 hole ones.

This is an old picture, stored on a friend's Photobucket account. The two on the right, the blue Squier Strat and the acoustic are both gone though, but I still have the Telecaster 3nodding

Well my Tele was made back in 81, which happened to be one of the worst time periods of Fender sad . The trees are graphtech roller-style, which I believe are original, and the 6-saddle bridge is a disgrace (i like the vintage 3-saddle ones), but it is also stock, because these types were used often back in the early 80's. I like the 5-hole pikcguard as well, though now its a 5-hole/3-screw pickguard.. I somehow misplaced 2 of the screws... heh.
As for that DAMN Teisco, its getting ripped apart ASAP. I'll be dropping all of the electronics into my project, which I have now decided will be a replica of the Teisco in body style, but not construction. The reason for trying to replicate it, is I want to try and get the original sound of the guitar out of this project... I loved the sound.
However the construction of the Teisco is a disgrace.. the neck joint is weak as hell and doesn't prevent the neck from being pulled in an upward angle from the body from the string tension. Soooooo... I'll be making a body out of mahogany or poplar (mahogany is preferred, but the poplar is free...), adding my own touches such as mounting the horns SG-style and adding inner horn bevels, and increasing the sice of the "butt" of the guitar, just personal preference.
I'll be constructing a neck, maybe with the original contour or maybe I'll shape it like a Tele.. dunno yet.. but it will be a set-neck with no neck angle (recessed bridge), and a tilt-back headstock (easier to install the truss rod).
