"Nah....I'm fine...!"
He nodded quickly, trying his best to smile at them. No reason to make his friends worry...
"Erm...if you don't mind...do you think...I could go with you?"
Demyx fidgeted a bit, tail swishing behind him.
"If you don't want to be alone that is...I'd understand if you did!"

Sora looked to Larxene, then back at Demyx. He'd hate to leave him alone out here. I mean...Demyx never was much of a fighter. Infact he was down right scrawny compared to everyone else in their group. He smiled. "You can come along with us Demyx! That's not a problem! But you have to promise one thing, you have to play that sitar you carried around before, I'm sure Larxene would like to hear your music too."
Sora curled his tail back around Larxene, putting -her- book back in his pocket and opening up the map-book. "So...where to now?"

Larxene offered Demyx a little smile and a nod as he 'officially' joined their little group to wander around. "Sitar music? That sounds nice, especially after the quiet of the library."
She looked down at the map again and shrugged. "I think the forest next? Maybe?"

Demyx broke into a real grin, quickly latching onto Sora and Larxene in a friendly hug.
"Thank you!! And of course I'll play, just tell me when, kay?"
The sitarist let them go, instead directing his attention down at the map.

Sora's bright smile was interupted by the squishing feeling he felt as Demyx gave them one of the most awkward of bear hugs ever. He was squished together with Larxene in the hug and his face lit up brighter than a Christmas tree. He coughed loudly as Demyx let go.
Laughing nervously he pointed at the map. "Fastest way to the forest from here is just a straight path..." he pointed in a west-ward direction. "Thatta-way!" He turned to Demyx. "You can play at any time Demyx! Right now if you want!"
Looking over at Larxene, Sora's blush returned, but this time with a smile. Music, friends, and a nice quiet day. What more could anyone want? ...well, he would like more time to discuss certain things with Larxene, but that could be done anytime.

Larxene gave a little 'omf' as she was squished into the hug, though she had to admit, having someone actually interested in hugging her was nice. Getting so soft.
She kept close to Sora as they made their way toward the woods, keeping her tail twined around his. Her thoughts drifted a similar direction to Sora's as she pondered having made not one, but two friends in such a short time after being alone in the library for so long (or what had seemed so long). And not even just friends... The girl cast a furtive glance at Sora as they walked. It all seemed so odd, and yet, it seemed natural somehow. That had to count for something, at least.
"So how come you're outside all by yourself, Demyx? Sick of the others?"

On the trip to the woods, Demyx kept mostly behind the two, bouncing up beside them every once in a while to give them a grin. This particular Organization member seemed to have an infinite amount of energy.
Until, at least, Larxene asked why he was outside by himself. At mention of that he stopped his bouncing and merely walked beside her, ears flattened a bit.
"I....er......I think I found out more than I should have known....and just needed some time to think it over..."
If Larxene was an Organization member, then Saix's little revelation would apply for her too. Demyx, however, didn't think he could be the bearer of such bad news. It had utterly depressed him, why would he do that to anyone else unless they honestly wanted to know?
"But I'm glad you two came along! I was getting kinda lonely..."

Sora's ears twitched at the tone of Demyx's voice. "Something bad happened, huh?" He was unusually observant of things like this. Maybe it was all that time spent with people talking in riddles and cryptic messages durring his adventures.
He stayed close to Larxene, not wanting to leave her side. If there was something bad going on, keeping her safe would be his number one priority. "Well no need to be lonely anymore Demyx!"

Larxene tilted her head a little bit. More than he should have known? Does that mean something about the past? She looked over at Demyx sharply, looking for some sign of this. Part of her wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer, however, and that part responded to Sora's close attention. Things were ... nice ... right now. Asking more questions might upset that.
She nodded in support of Sora's statement. "Yeah, new people to talk to, right?. And woods to explore."

"Yeah...something bad happened long ago...but I guess it doesn't matter since we're all okay now..."
Demyx met Larxene's sharp gaze, own green eyes almost sorrowful looking. But he quickly shook it off, not wanting to upset them.
"Yeah! It's great having new people to talk to! And I kinda wanted to know what was in the woods...just didn't want to go alone and all."

Sora's mind backtracked. What could have...oh. That. So he's talking about what happened when I...oh man...they forgot that... He cringed. His heart ached. What was he going to do? How could he say anything to Demyx and smile with honesty now? He must have done that to all of the Organization members too. Turning to Larxene his ears folded back. Her too...I must have done that to her too. He lowered his head, seemingly focusing on the book and whispered with a slight whine in his voice. "I'm sorry." Hopefully just low enough so the other two couldn't hear him.
Scanning a finger along a path Sora pointed his companions in the right directions. Trying not to speak again.

Larxene looked slightly puzzled, looking between the other two who both seemed (at least at the moment) to be consumed by some unpleasant thoughts. She offered Demyx a smile as he seemed to brighten up, and curled her tail around Sora's waist as he didn't.
"The woods should be interesting," she said, nodding and trying to keep the conversation away from anything bleak for the moment. "It'll be a bit darker, maybe not as hot as out in the sun. And ... there could be some creatures. We never did find any creatures in the library," she said, giving Sora a squeeze with her tail. "Have you seen any in the rest of the place, Demyx? Other than the coat-people, that is."

Demyx blinked over at Sora as depression seemed to hit him.
"Sora....you okay?"
The sitartist tilted his head a bit, offering the other male a bright smile.
"Cmon, ya don't have to be sad for us! Bad stuff happened, but it's in the past, and it doesn't change anything now, right?"
Demyx had no idea what was going on through Sora's head. Besides the fact that he still felt a slight bit of discomfort around him, Demyx saw no reason for their past to affect Sora this was.
"Er...creatures? Nah...I've only seen the others... What...kind...of creatures are you looking for?"

Sora's ears twiched. Larxene's tail provided a very inviting warmth, he half-snuggled into it as he stared into the book. "I'm fine. Just have a bad feeling about someone." Sora turned to Demyx. "Where is Saix?" His face was serious. There were very few people in the Organization Sora felt extremely uncomfortable around. They were Xemnas, Xaldin, Xigbar, and Saix. But mostly Saix. Out of all of them, he seemed the most likely to rip someones head off without blinking an eye. The others seemed to want him for some reason. Saix just wanted to disembowl everyone. He shivered at the thought. Still looking at Demyx he shook his head. "Nevermind, I don't want to know. Just...make sure he stays away from us." At this point he was looking at Larxene, ears still folded down. The greatest threat of his new friends were old enemies. There was some irony in that. Sora didn't appreciate it much.

"No creatures in particular," Larxene said, shrugging. "Just ... something out of the ordinary. Though my ordinary has just been books, lately..."
She continued squeezing Sora with her tail, pausing as he looked over at her. He seemed so serious suddenly. It was a different look for him; not necessarily worse but an interesting side to see nonetheless. She didn't recognize the name 'Saix', but he was obviously someone causing Sora a lot of concern. Oddly (to her, anyway), she felt a flicker of dislike for the man she'd never met. She didn't want this person Sora was worried about causing them trouble, and glanced over at Demyx to see if he could answer Sora's question.
"It'll be fine. He might not even remember you anyway, right?" she said, making a stab in the dark. Obivously something bad had happened between the two; she didn't know if Saix not remembering would make it better or not.
