It was then that magic nor abilities are opted out from this play. For that split moment of time, the point where Snow saw her blade still held steady on her hand, it wasn't his skills that propelled him this time. Instead, the action that Snow merely took when the sword crashed together...
Was to pull his arm back just as her sword skidded up, and then repeating another upward-diagonal slash after rotating the blade clockwise perpendicular to the ground before letting his left hand carry out the blow again. Increasing the attack by using the swing of his arm, Snow purposefully tightened the clockwise rotation to add momentum and lethality to the strike, and instead of the blade coming from his left side in the first slash --
The second slash came this time, from his right side, using that accumulated force achieved through the first clash to challenge her ability to defend when she thrusted towards his stomach. For once completed, he would shift his body to a front stance - twisting his torso leftwards intentionally to expose his right side to her, while increasing the force behind the left upward slash -- And bringing his right fist hard with the momentum to a particular spot on her body.
For the slash wasn't aiming for her body this time. Rather, it was the Odachi blade she held which he was aiming for, giving a strong enough blow from the sides to knock it off course. For once it came in contact, he would skid the blade right close to her hilt, and deliver a concussion blow right at her chest with his right fist, near her heart.
Heart-break Shot- an advanced boxing move which can paralyze an opponent for a few seconds. Though it didn't mean that Snow's method in hand to hand combat was boxing. No. It was a technique he saw before in a sparring match which he liked, and he practiced it during his spare time, along with other moves to develop a style which he is most comfortable in.
And having the perfect opportunity to catch the opponent off guard, it would be one of his prime moves to paralyze the opponent before they realize the fatal shot...
Raine might be surprised and furious on how Snow can achieve another slash in just a second or so.
It was actually simple. Just when the blade came into contact, the force which clashed against each other wasn't halted. Raine had allowed him to push his slash up, and had he tried to halt his momentum, he would've already been exposed for the thrust right into his stomache. But using that momentum which was flung out, he could pull the blade back and transfer the force into a centrufigal force, increasing the speed necessary to deliver another slash...and aiming for her Odachi instead.
Time is spent on moving one force to another. Those who know how to transfer one point of force to the next without bleeding off the energy, would know best how to reduce the time span needed to carry an attack out.
As the ground rumbled when Snow delivered the shot, his white ambers of frost now circulated around both him and Raine, ready for the final blow.

Another day in the Gym. Frankly speaking, with an old friend coming to test out his nooks and crannies, it wasn't something which good ol' Snow would decline. Besides - the thought of battling once more against an old comrade was entertaining enough to have him wait in the Gym, his arms crossed across his chest and standing there for the arrival.
His weapon of choice? The usual - two identical weapons that is a katana with an extended hilt into the dull edge of the blade, allowing the weapon to be grasped like a katana... Or, like a kodachi, by the simple switch in hold. Two bracers were adorned on his wrist and forearms, allowing for quick parries and light defenses while housing the necessary tools for arcane methods if it comes down to that.
Finally, his ragged looking cloak with nearly no armor - intent to increase mobility and offensive capabilities for the sacrifice of defense and vitality.
And there he waited, humming a light song in the meantime.
