Practice had been going quite well, in Meg's humble opinion. Her mother had not said too much in the way of correction, which was always a good sign. Of course, her mother seemed preoccupied more with MM. Andre and Firmin at the moment.
It was hard to keep concentration when she was so curious about the new management, and she knew the other girls felt the same.
Andre had looked at her! Ew! He looked like was old enough to be her grandfather! "Thank goodness the other one made him stop ogling us", she thought. Well, she would certainly have to tell everyone about this. Although she got the feeling that certain girls wouldn't MIND the new manager's... "Attentions". But Meg, despite performer's scandalous reputations, was a virtuous girl.

Christine, a bit uncomfortable, exchanged glances with Meg over the look Andre had given her friend. These two men didn't exactly look like the nicest people she had seen and a flare of annoyance burned in her. If they had that little respect for Meg they would surely be the same way with the others. Seeing dancers as simply objects, like attractive puppets that they used for their own money-grubbing purposes.

Erik scanned the crowd of dancers looking for that familiar brunette, but she wasn't there. Where could she be? He wondered as his brows furrowed a bit, his patience slowly wearing thin. She had better not met with the Victome again, or else there'd be more hell to pay than just a small chandelier. Erik's hands gripped the metal railing tightly as he continued to observe the practice below, he was almost certain no one would see him up there. So these are the new managers? Erik thought to himself as he spotted them below with Madame Giry. Perhaps one of them would be a good suitor for her, she needs one... He thought again as he noticed Madame Giry was arm and arm with one of them. He didn't think it rude to imagine such a thing, seeing as it was the truth. In Erik's opinion, she needed a lover...
Erik's mismatched eyes continued to scan through the dancers before he recognized a familiar shape. There... Erik smiled at the sight of his precious beauty dancing about with just precision and grace. Although the dance was very exotic, there was a flow of energy coming from those girls that many people wouldn't have noticed. Only those with the taste of the arts would be moved by such a sight, rather than aroused. Christine's face gleamed a silky cream color from the slight perspiration that collected on her fair skin. She danced almost as well as she could sing, and Erik was about to make the world notice her musical talents soon enough...

Christine felt the air move around her as she danced, trying to make her movements as fluid as she could. She liked dance, and she tried to really get herself into it, but as she had realized some time ago, it wasn't her passion. It couldn't make her shiver the way music could in pure delight. Still, she liked it, perhaps somehow it would lead into a career in music and then, finally she would be what she had always wanted to be. A singer. Not a chance, she thought to herself. It's a wish...a dream, nothing more.

((Hi everyone! im on for a little while in case you want to know...but I have to get off soon and I will try to be on later today 3nodding I was hoping we'd have a Carlotta by now, but we dont... sweatdrop ...so I was thinking...Maybe I could play her....does that sound like a good Idea to you guys? ))
Madame Giry saw that he was looking at her daughter.
"Who you are looking at is Meg Giry, My daughter. The girl next to her is Christine Daae. The only daughter of the famous Sweedish Violinist. She has promising talent Monsuier. Very promising."
Madame Giry was taking into close account of the mistakes made by the dancing girls so that she could scold them later. She didnt want to scold in front of the new managers. She was so preoccupied that she didnt notice the look on Andre's face or the nudge that Firmin had givin him.

Erik continued to watch his beautiful jewel in silence. His expression was uncertain, but behind that mask, he was smiling deep down inside. His heart seemed to skip a beat whenever he saw her and his insides would heat up like a passionate fire. Oh, how he longed to hold that prancing grace, caress those sun kissed cheeks, and sing his love to his fullest! One day he'd like to hear her tell everyone that she had a song, one made with perfect persition and overwhelming love. Christine looks so lovely from that spot. She truely was a beautiful angel...more so than he at least.

Meg continued dancing as she heard what her mother said. Maman!!! Her mind screamed. Don't tell him my NAME!!!! Which she knew was a ridiculous thought because he was the manager now and would know her name soon anyway. Still, the thought was unsettling. But at least her mother had mentioned the fact that Meg was her daughter.

Jacks Rage-
Andre watched the two girls with a vivid facination. "They are quite lovely," he replied, watching them move together gracefully and swan-like...and noticing their slender waists and shapely figure... Andre coughed. He looked to Madame Giry. "Yes, they sure do seem to have promising talent, and I've only caught a glimpse of them. I'm sure what they must do onstage is most amazing," he said truthfully. "Now is it you that trains these dolls, or are there other trainers?"

At that moment Christine happened to look up. She saw a shadow twitch slightly on the ceiling, then it was still. Puzzled, her dancing slipped ftom her mind and she stared intently at it, though it no longer moved. But it did seem have the shape of...a human? Mentally shaking herself, she thought, Who would be up there? It's probably just those stories of the Opera Ghost have got to me. She once again tried to concentrate on dancing, but she was shaky and she staggered a bit. Perhaps she feared the stories of the ghost more than she would admit, even to herself.

Erik was surprised Christine noticed him up there, and yet, he didn't mind at all. They shared a moment that drew him to her even more so than before. He could tell she was shaken up from the sight of him, but Erik knew better that she wouldn't assume so quickly of his existence until he moved...and she noticed it. "So it begins, my beautiful angel of music..." He sung quietly to himself, his vocals mellow and mysterious. Normally there was a connection between the forbidden lovers when one of them sang. Erik noticed this developing in Christine over time while he taught her. She seemed to be more alert, even if she couldn't hear him...and yet, she could. It was like a distance cry for her, as was her voice to him. It drew them together like someone wondering to an unknown destination. They knew they had to be somewhere, but where was uncertain.
