Okay, I'm on the Cancer/Leo cusp - with the duality of fire and water, sun and moon, male and female.
By Chinese astrology I'm an earth snake, by Celtic (I believe) I'm an oak.
My favourite gemstones are ametrine and blue calcite, my birthstones (which I'm not fond of) are ruby and moonstone. I live in a very flat coastal area. My favourite season used to be winter, but now I really don't have one.
I know my element, but I'm curious as to what you can get from that information.

My element is water, definately. I've always been connected too it. Infact.. it rained here yesterday while I was walking home and I loved it. I didn't even put the hood on my jacket over my head. xD

I know for certain that I'm a Water element first and foremost, but I'm also drawn to Air. Stats are:
Zodiac: Cancer/ (Chinese) Water Pig
Birth stone(s): pearl, alexandrite, moonstone (which I've always been drawn to); I also feel a strong connection to turquoise and citrine, and have a strong interest in gems/stones and metals.
Birth number: 9-fire
Geological: Grew up in a coastal California town, lots of sea, and rolling hills, very windy, with the wind coming in from the sea 90% of the time. Currently residing in Central new York, lots of trees and greenery, but not much water (which could explain why my interest in gardening is growing).
Connections: I've always felt tied to the sea and water, and to the moon and the tides. I've also always felt most at peace and calm when I'm facing into the wind, especially if I can smell the sea on it (which I can from a distance of up to about 70 miles). I like being out in nature, but never felt as connected to Earth, although I love forests. Fire is comforting (as I get cold very easily, and can withstand high temperatures easily) and very nice in a controlled bonfire, fireplace or a candle, but I've never been overly fond of it.
So I'd say I'm Water, with ties to Air.
Edit: If you're not sure about your Chinese zodiac sign, yahoo Astrology can tell you the animal and element for the specific year of your birth. I can't really vouch for the accuracy, but it's propably no more inaccurate than a lot of other sites you might find.

My element is fire, no matter what sort of method I use it is always fire, however I feel a really strong connection to water. Opposites attract, eh?

I think that I am an Air element, according to what I read about being an Aquarius, but with the whole birth number thing, it says Air. I feel connected to both, but which one, which one....

I've been told that I'm air but I'm still not sure if it's true. Can anyone offer me advice on how to find my element?
After taking a few minutes to do the way to find your element through your birthday I came out Water but I still get the feeling that it's not it. Oh well I'll still appreciate the advice. PM me with it please.

I have a question. Is it possible for your elemnt to change, or your personal connection or affinity for an element to dissapear? I've laways been water all the way, and very strongly tied to it, but anymore, I feel more like air or fire. I live witha very strong fire element, and I have little time and almost no privacy to meditate and/or maintain my connection to my element. It just feels like all the water in me got dried up, evaporated by the intensity of the fire element I live with. is this possible, or is it more likely that I've just lost touch with it for a while? Any info or advice would be appreciated.
