"Ummm.... it's nice to meet you all..." Mizuki said as she looked down at her hands, playing with the bandages on her fingers. She looked up at all the smiling faces, seeing what a real family was like. She smiled sadly as she looked back down and sighed. She looked at all the food and picked up a piece of toast and began to nibble at it. She looked around the table and saw how all of them were eating like a real family should. She looked at each one, her face growing sadder with each face.
Suddenly she pushed her chair out and said quickly "Please excuse me..."
She walked out the door, leaving her jacket behind and quickly climbed up onto the roof of the house. She sat there looking up at the passing clouds and sighed. She could never be part of a family, no matter how hard others tried, she was just to different.

Mizuki looked out at the mountains and sighed. She sat there in silence, looking out at the clouds and letting the gentle breeze blow her short hair.
"This.... is my third village I've been at..." Mizuki said softly looking down, hugging her knees. She began to spin her thumbs around each other, the bandages slowly unraveling "I'm sorry.... But I can't stay here... It's to... to happy. I'll only make your life worse."
She looked away and sighed, letting her hand bandages unravel up to her palm.

Mizuki was on the roof for about an hour. She laid on it looking up at the passing clouds, thinking about what she had just been told. She began to wonder if hwat she was told was true, if, in truth, that she could be happy. She sat up and walked over the th side of the roof and jumped down. She stood by the door for a moment and sighed as she opened it. She looked in to see all of them standing there. She quickly picked up her jacket and put it back on, re-wrapping her hand. She looked at them, her eyes cold and showing little trust.
"I've decided to stay" She said in a monotone voice as she walked into the house and stood near the corner.

Mizuki let her lead her toward the bath, she normally bathed in the icy river water, so a nice hot bath sounded wonderful. She looked at the large bath and then at Ryoko, her eyes asking her to leave. She took off her jacket and slowly set it on the floor.
"Ummm... Thanks... Could you let me bathe alone?" Mizuki said quietly, she didn't want to be seen undressed.

She sat it the warm water for a very long time, well she thought it was. Before she began to wash herself off she got out of the bath and opened the door, looking both ways to see if anyone was around. She Stepped back inside, leaving a puddle of water in the hallway, and walked over to the bath. She grabbed a bottle of shampoo and washed her hair the best she had in years. Making a paste of herbs and flowers just didn't do the same job.

She sat on the side of the tub and slowly scrubbed away the dirt. She winced as she washed her back, the black marks worse there than anywhere. She slide back into the water and washed off all the soap. She then pushed herself out of the water and sat on the side again, letting her feet kick in the water. The steam from the water kept the room warm as she sat there, enjoying the warmth. She stuck her head back into the water and re-wet her hair. She walked over toward the towel when she realized, her clothes weren't in the area she was.

She looked all around the room, her clothes nowhere to be found. She walked toward the door, covered by a thin towel, and stuck her head out. She stood out in the hall for a moment, her hair dripping on the clean floor, and she looked over the hallway for her clothes, but she couldn't find them. She stood out there, hoping no one would come, and searched everywhere she could without leaving that area.

((Hey! I've done that before.... sweatdrop And a dog stole the towel from me too.... stare it wasn't fun i'll tell you that much... I kinda flashed this 8 year old kid...))

Kyaaa!!" Mizuki yelled as she fell backwards. "Don't look, don't look!" She said as she stumbled down the hall.

She was trying to get back to the bathroom when she tripped and fell. She sat up, the towel covering her front, but her back was exposed. She shook with angst as she sat on the ground, her back to Roy. A tear fell down her face as she looked down holding the towel close to her neck.

"Don't look... Don't look..." Was all she could say as she tried to cover her back with the towel. Her hair stuck to her face, the short part in the back sticking up, the cause of dying in it's own. ((Think Sasuke, but not that duck butt-ish xd )) She didn't even care about him seeing her front, because it wasn't scarred.

She looked at him, wondering why he was being so nice. It took her a moment for what he said to sink in and as soon as she registered what he said she blushed a deep red. She looked up at him as she stood up, tightening the towel around herself. She winced as it dug into one of the tender areas of her back, but quickly composed herself.

"Th... thanks' She said as she looked at him, there eyes almost level. ((Well they make about 9 feet together so i'm assuming the ceiling isn't that high.))
"Ummm... do you know where my clothes are? I really would like to get dressed" She said in a shy voice as she pulled the towel higher, not wanting to let Roy have another 'peak'.

"Thanks" Mizuki said as she walked back into the bathroom, the package in hand. She opened it up, thinking it would be pink, but saw that it wasn't pink at all. It was a small black, silk night gown with two chibi angel wings on the back. It also had white swirls on the bottom of it, almost like vines.

She slipped it on gently and looked down noticing it hit at her knees. She took her bandages and looked at them for a moment. She sighed as she decided to put them back on. She sat down and began to wrap everything that held her scars of the past. She started by wrapping up her arms, moving down to her left leg and then to both her feet. She sighed before she walked out again looking at the ground.

"Does it look alright?" Mizuki asked in a timid voice.
