Sensei Fex Trombone is the funnest insturment though, you just can't beat it, but the tuba section is always made up of the funnest people ever. that is very true. Triads(t-bone, b-tone, and tubas) for life

I am compleatly overjoyed right now!! im getting a new tuba -yay- and it wont havea broken spit valve or dead tuneing slides, missing screws, or burn marks from when the shop did a bad saudering job! and the case will have wheeles that work ^^ but i need help naming it crying

I got the one I have 2 years ago and it's already literally fallen apart once. ANd It wa sin the middle of a performance too. I really wish I could get my a new trombone, but eneryone is talking aboput getting my little brother his own French Horn. Oh how I wish he didn't have to be in band too gonk

Reposted from my thread that got locked... Considering it wasn't a repeat thread, I'm still confused on that, but whatever. It wasn't a repeat of the Sheet Music Exchange as I wasn't looking for any particular song (which is what the Sheet Music Exchange is for) and it wasn't a repeat of this thread because it wasn't just another of those "OMGZ TROMBoNE iS TEH ZEXY@!!!!" threads you see every other day, but I'll try not to be angry about it. Bastards. Wilhem's non-repeat request thread I was just looking for some suggestions for some good trombone music, especially jazz stuff. Most of the music I have is either too easy or a little above my ability, so I was looking for something new. It would be extremely helpful if you could suggest specific books, though I definitely wouldn't mind getting suggestions for songs.

Howdy. Um, I'm switching to Baritone ((marching)) from Mello/Horn in F. So, I need some tips, ya know. My buddy in the section says I should use a small bore baritone. What's the difference? I need a bit of help if I'm to be any use to the section.

Well Actually it could since you would probably use a smaller mouthpiece for a smaller bore horn. So maybe since you played mellophone before and are use to smaller mouthpieces, maybe you should play a smaller bore horn. i dont know for sure though. Your director can probably tell you more than I can. Anyway, the size of the bell affects how the instruments sounds when you play it I think.I'm not exactly sure how but I think it does.

I play Euphonium, "aka Baritone." The low brass is just the best part of the band. It would just sound crappy if there weren't the low brass.

yay i have a new issuse, and this one is big
Ok, heres how it goes, at my school we currently have 3 baritones, 4 tubas, no tuba seniors, 2 baritone seniors. yeah. next year we have 1 baritone, 4 tubas ( razz ) so i was asked to switch to baritone. i realy want to do it but i want other ppls opinions on what i shud do.

2- vote to keep them seperate
1- vote doesn't care
I know it's kind of unfair since you're the only sectional thread that's clumped up into a group. I was thinking maybe making a new thread just for trombones and keeping tubas and baritones in here. Sadly I can't create a new poll. sweatdrop So I would love if would give me your feedback.
