I'm very confused about God sometimes sad , I have my own little Ideas idea , but I sometimes feel as though I was being condemn for what I was thinking... it not that I'm trying to dispute what the Bible says but I have questions question . sweatdrop I believe in faith, but not stupidity. But it use to be the opposite way around. It still feels like that sometimes. I need help, to clear my mind. I best describe myself as the song by Green Day: Boulevard of Broken dreams. Its like I created another personality in mind to help me cope with the reality of life and God. This personality, I like to call her?. well she doesn't have a name. I hated life and everyone around me, except for my friends. stressed I use to be a shut-in I was to afraid to live for the fear of God, my grandmother use to call me the devil, or say I was evil, but she never really told me what see meant by those things, so I started to hate God. Because I thought God was responsible for a lot of things in my life, like me not having a good mom or not even getting to know my own father so I stop trying... Trying to live for anything because all knew was that if God didn't want me that I wouldn?t want God. I lived my life ignoring God but always trying to be good.
So resigned myself to the idea that I would simply die and go to hell and? that was all to it. Kind of pathetic, redface but I became very distant and a bit cry suicidal (not that I would ever have the guts to take my own life). I didn?t feel like doing anything. After I got out of high school there was nothing more for me to do. I was going nowhere
But I listen to the radio and watch TV one day there was a women preacher named Joyce, she said something very inspirational to me, and I felt better. 3nodding I started to think idea ?God wasn?t so bad I just didn?t understand God at the time? so after I awhile repented and I wanted God back in my life.
There's more to the story but....
Well I can to explain some more but I figure if you guys don?t want to accept that much about me than I don't belong here.

Hello, my name is Estrella which means star in spanish. I am 15 years old and I'm a believer in Christ. I hope to learn more about what it is he wants me to do in life. And I hope to learn it by going to church, WOW, cell groups and reading the word of God.

Hi, I'm princess_jaybird. I'm in college getting a bacholors(spel?) in social work. I love to read, listen to music(christian and country), draw, hang out w/friends. I'm a Seventh-Day Adventist, I have been my entire life(I'm 24). I'm happy I was accepted because I like to talk to and learn more w/fellow christians. I was baptized when I was 13. I love school. College is tough, but I love it. I go to a Seventh-day Adventist college. I have dirty blonde hair, 5ft 6 1/2 in, blue/green eyes(depends what I am wearing. I can't think of anything at the moment stare I think my brain is fried.

Welcome to the guild, princess_jaybird! I'm glad to hear that you're looking for some fellowship here. I've been a member for a couple of days and there are some real characters here, lol. Everyone I've met has been really cool and a lot of people seem to really be seeking God's heart. I hope you have a great time and get to meet some of the great people in this guild! tsinbad HI my name is Tara i am turning 20 in 4 days and i am finishing my last year of college i join this guild to make some friends and try to find my way back to God i lost my way about 4 years ago and i am having a hard time finding my way back i any one has suggestions let my know Hi, Tara. In my experience this is a good place for encouragement if you need it, and it's good to know that there are other Christians supporting you. I will definitely pray for you. The most important things right now are (I think) to read the Bible and pray. Fellowship is good, but discovering the will of God is the way to find Him again. Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. A couple of things I've found that help are to set a time every day to read the Bible. And if you feel the desire to read at another time, bring your Bible with you and crack it open right then, because that's the Holy Spirit urging you to discover more of Him. Also, I don't know if you walk to class, but one of the best times for me to pray is while I'm on my way to class, because I have nothing better to do! biggrin Hope that helps. I'm excited to hear God is calling you back to Him! ~Gilwen
