The frown remained on his face. "You seem... shorter... Have you been experimenting with growing and shrinking, have you?" he asked.

He grinned. "Well, at least we know you're successful. Now all you need to do is learn how to change your face. Perhaps you could make your nose grow longer." Dyami was one of the rare princes Jillian could be informal with. They were closer to friends than he was with any of the other princes, who were usually wary of him, overly polite and didn't trust him whatsoever.

Isole sat up quickly and looked around. "Where am I?" It registered finally his escape the night before. "I-I fell asleep...?" He whipered and leaned back against the wall, his heart pounding. 'They could be here by now! Stupid, stupid, stupid!' He whined to himself and stood. "Okay, get yourself..." He heard voices and stood still for a moment in the shadows, then inched over to the opening of the alley he had spent the night in.
He saw seven of his masters horsemen, cloaked as they were, still he could tell. He held his breath a moment as one unmounted, then as quietly as he could he ran down the alley in the other direction. "Where am I going?" He wiped his eyes again. The pressure and anxiety of all this was getting to be too much. He stoped running for a moment and crawled onto a low roof. He stayed down so he wouldn't be seen, but so he could see the cloaked men, two of them were making their way down the alley. When they didn't find anything a half hour later the two men were called back.
"He's not in this part. The others have probably found him by now. Let's go." He was safe for the moment and fifteen minutes after they left he stood and looked around. Everything was... well, dead... He could tell he was just close to both the borders of the Kingdoms of Light and Fire. His home was up north then, next to the Kingdom of Darkness. "I don't want to go home..." He said to himself aloud this time and sighed. He couldn't stay here though and so he'd have to pass through the Kingdom of Darkness. He took a look around the city he was in and picked a route before hopping down from the roof.

Isole paced back and forth on the borderline between the Ice, Dark, and Death Kingdoms trying to make up his mind. He'd decided he would head over to the Earth Kingdom and now was stuck on which path to choose. Ice would be safer in a way because thats where he was born. However his masters horsemen would be looking for him there. He took a deep breath and stepped into the Kingdom of Darkness. He'd just have to wait and see.

He scowled slightly. "Fine. Whatever. I'll send for you when I need you." He turned round and walked off carelessly, as if he had many more important things to deal with than way-ward princes.

Rosaline sighed and wrung out his hair, leaning over and twisting it so the water dripped onto the ground instead of onto him. Not that it mattered, since he was already sopping wet. Well, he didn't need anything else to be able to tell that he was no longer welcome in the building that had been his home for five years. They had finally found out what he was and had decided that roses could fend for themselves and were less worthy of care than humans. Well, fine. He would look for himself. He had been dumped into the river that bordered between the kingdoms of Darkness and Death and had had to swim to the other side. He looked at the sky. So this was the Kingdom of Darkness. It was... dark. Well, what had he been expecting? A bouqet of welcome flowers and a basket of complementary fruit? Even his thoughts were beginning to be sarcastic... just great. He sighed and set out, leaving a trail of dripping water behind him.

Rosaline paused. He'd thought he'd heard... something... But there were animal in this kingdom... weren't there? Well, of course... it was the Kingdom of Darkness! There was bound to be... tigers and bears and... things... He shuddered slightly, now beginning to panick. "C-come out, whoever you are!!" he said in a high-pitched squeek not at all sure if it was at all wise to try and get the whatever-it-was to come out.

"Uh...?" Well if the other seemed more frightnened than he was, there couldn't be much to worry about... right? He stepped out of the bushes, but stayed out of reach of the other. He was still in shadow but suddenly he felt naked, standing there in the open like that.
