Lily was brought out of her train of thought when the cars jolted to a start. She smiled at Liz, who was asking if she was alright and she nodded saying she was.

The roller coaster was climbing quickly and Holly and Andi were giggling up front as they reached the top and they threw their hands into the air...and for one moment, they hit that part of the roller coaster where you could hear your heart beat. The tick tick tick had stopped since they'd reached the top, but the first car hadn't began the desent yet, and for one split second, there was silence. Until the first car fell and Holly and Emily's and the other girls' screams filled the air.

[Homg, I left the house at 7am and didn't get back until near 6pm! Dx I wasn't testing that entire time though. Those ended at 1. I had a softball game after, followed by some thing at my dad's work. xP]

Kai set his hand on the edge of the basket, gripped it tightly as he leaned forward the better see the coaster's progress. His other hand was still on his stomach. "Amazing..." he murmured, eyes widened a bit in wonder. "How do people build these things? In fact," he paused, tapping the ride he was holding. "How do they build this?" He was amazed by this place. It was so... strange! He'd definitely never seen anything like it before.

Kaori blinked at Sai, and then smiled as she nodded. "Yes," she grinned, eyes widening slightly as she heard the distant screams. Then she recalled Meghan saying they screamed because they enjoyed it, and shook her head slightly. Her eyes flicked towards Kai, and then she leaned over the edge again, watching a tall tower bring people up high, and then suddenly drop them. They kept going as they neared the ground, never slowing, and Kaori gasped as they suddenly disappeared into the earth. "W-wow!" she cried. "Humans sure are brave to make this stuff!"

[Um, it was ok. Extremely boring, but actually not that hard. ^^; I'm disappearing to Borders to get volume three of Death Note, and then I'll be right back.]

Kaori's eyes remained locked upon the ground where the ride had disappeared as she listened to Sai speak. "Maybe it's just for the thrill?" she asked, looking over her shoulder at him. "Though, this one isn't very exciting, is it?" She spun around, sitting properly in her seat once more as Kei settled comfortably in her lap. She smiled and began stroking his back gently. "I can't wait until he gets big enough to ride..." she murmured happily.

Kai's eyes kept flicking between each ride, as if taking over for Kaori now that she'd stopped. Since he'd finally given in and looked over, he couldn't stop himself from trying to see everything. He stuck his head out a bit further, rising slightly to his knees as his tail flicked excitedly behind him. His eyes were still full of wonder as he looked once more towards the rollar coaster, then to some swings that raised up and spun you around until you were almost horizontal in the air.

Kaori watched Sai, nodding occassionally as he spoke to show her understanding. She smiled to herself as she did, thinking over how she'd come to this place. She'd heard a simple rumor, and she'd followed it. What if I hadn't overheard? she thought to herself. Then I'd still be wandering around... She sighed, pushing the thoughts away as she looked back out over the park. Her eyes widened slightly, suddenly noting how high they were. She jumped as the cart rocked for a moment, and pulled Kei to her chest once more.

Kai gazed out over their surroundings, watching the people below. "They... really are like bugs," he murmured to himself, imagining the view from the actual top of the ride. Then he turned, settling back into his seat. "Well, I'm ready to move on," he said, crossing his arms over his chest.

Kai frowned for a moment, then smirked and shook his head. "Well, that won't take long..." he mumbled, then laughed quietly under his breath. She's right though, a small voice whispered to him. Just like bugs... You could so easily crush them all right now. Kai bowed his head, fist clenching for a moment before he recovered again. He hoped they hadn't noticed, but wouldn't be very surprised if they did. He sighed very quietly and resumed his comfortable appearing position.

Kaori blinked at Kai, wondering what he was doing, but didn't say anything. Then she turned towards Sai for a moment. Romantic rides, huh.. she thought to herself, then closed her eyes, blushing very faintly at the thought.

[Hmm... o.o]

Kai blinked, then tilted his head slightly so he was watching Meghan. What? he asked mentally, but didn't put forth the effort to say anything aloud. Instead, he just watched her look away. Curiously, he followed her gaze towards the stars, watching them silently. Every now and then his tail flicked beside on on the seat, thumping against the metal.

Kaori blinked at Sai and then bowed her head as she began absently playing with Kei's wings. "Um, nothing..." she murmured softly, then leaned back in her seat as Kei settled back in her lap. She ran her hand through her hair distractedly, and then glanced over the edge again. "Down down, back to the ground," she whispered to herself, accidentally aloud.

Kaori blinked, turning towards Sai again, the blush faded. "Ah, I really don't mind this one... Honestly, the other ones really do look a bit scary," she admitted with a nervous laugh. She almost felt like a little kid, experiencing something new for the first time and feeling excited and scared at the same time. But then again, that was the situation here, wasn't it? She looked down, petting Kei's back softly once more. "I'd still like to try though," she added quietly.

Kai glanced at Sai and Kaori, watching closely from the corner of his eye so he still appeared to be watching the sky. What's going on with them? he thought to himself, big brother protectiveness beginning to form for the first time outside of a battle. His tail continued its constant pounding as he frowned, wondering if this was the way an older brother was supposed to feel. But they're not doing anything, he thought, reassuring himself.
