That DRS quote has been bothering me for the longest time because I knew that I'd heard it, but for some reason it was much more dramatic in my head, and therefore not from the actual song.
Anyways, the next quote is "Cabin in the Woods" from "Evil Dead: The Musical"
"...The entire language of our species, which is a favorite term of Nietzsche's, who's a great-grandfather of Christina Ricci's."

Finian's Rainbow's song Old Devil Moon.
"A little bunny in a shoe box He thinks he's found a brand new home So snug and cozy on your closet floor Now what's that bunny in my closet for? With a mallet and some clippers You find out: new bunny slippers!"

Yeah, I thought that would be a hard one. It's "Eager Beaver," from No Strings, btw.
This next one should be a little easier: "RSVP, peonies Pollinate the breeze Make the queen of bees Hot as brandy."

"Hurry, It's Lovely Up Here" from On a Clear Day You Can See Forever [Of course, I only know this because Audra McDonald does an awesome cover of it]
"Someone has to turn you in Like a common criminal, like a wounded animal, A jaded mandarin, A jaded mandarin, Like a jaded, faded, faded, jaded, jaded mandarin."

So....I recognized the verse but I could not for the life of me remember what it was from, so I looked it up because I was curious...and now I know the answer, but I kind of cheated...but since no one else seems to know it either...should we just move on? confused

Nah, I knew it as soon as he posted, but since I posted the last one, I wanted to see if anyone else would get it. It's "Moments in the Woods" from Into the Woods.
Next up: "Oh, how we long to stand still Stomachs are in distress We need a helping hand, still No one is near who can here when we SOS."
