ReaverofSouls here...or just Reaver, to shorten it.
I'm a lifelong MLB fan and a lifelong Tigers fanatic. I can't explain how much this season has meant as a fan, seeing as how a few years ago the Tige's lost those 119 games.
Heck, I'm a lifelong Detroit sports fan. Love the Red Wings, (who beat the Pens 2-0 tonight. Awesome game. Loved booing my girlfriend's team from the seats while she sat next to me.) Sad that Yzerman isn't playing for the team, but glad he is staying with the organization as their VP.
Love the Lions even though they seriously blow chunks. I'll be the first to admit it. Hell, the Lions haven't meant jack since Barry Sanders retired in 97-98.
Pistons, gotta love 'em, though I'm not sure how well they'll do this season.
Other than that, yea. I just mainly follow the four major sports. I loathe Nascar and don't see how that can be classified as a sport, but that's just this lowly countryboy's opinion.

Hey all! I'm Darth_Sauerkraut and my main thing is baseball! My favorite player is Kenny Lofton (I know he's getting old. xp ) so right now my favorite team is the L.A Dodgers. Football is also pretty cool, with my favorite team either the Bears or the Rams. Basketball, I only follow a little, so don't expect me to give any long-winded talks on LeBron James or whatever. talk2hand so that's a few facts about me. whee

First off, what a very cool guild you have. Very active and obviously is all about sports. Glad to be here with many, many other sports fans like myself. Onto my introduction:
The name is Gabe and I'm 25 years old turning 26 this December. I currently live in Virginia and I'm the manager of the local furniture store here. I'm a huge fan of cycling (riding a bicycle) and I find it very relaxing, I'm also competitve when it comes to cycling too. I love the outdoors and I like to go rock climbing, hiking, or just going out and riding my motorcycle. It's an awesome feeling either way. I was born in Boston though, grew up in the city, but went to college in Virginia.
Baseball: Boston is obviously a baseball city and it has it stamped all over the place. The fans are one of the most passionate in all of baseball and Fenway Park is basically an historical site in it's own right (it was named it too and now it's on Monopoly!). The atmosphere is just amazing. Growing up in Boston of course I grew up a Red Sox fan. Dwight Evans is my all-time favorite Sox. He truly is a real class act with a hell of an arm.
Football: I grew up a Washigton Redskins fan and Darrell Green truly was my favorite football player of all-time and he still is to this day. I remembered seeing him chase Dorsett down. Since I'm only 25, he was the one I watched as a Redskin as I grew up. He was a true Redskin, a class act on and off the field. One player who was here throughout his whole career as a 'Skin.
Ice Hockey: I'm a full-fledge Boston Bruins fan and I grew up playing the Canadian spot itself. Had an amazing time too (I also did play football though). I honestly do not remember my first Bruins game live, but it was way back in the 80's. I can really remember sitting an dwatching a game which was Game 6, during the 1981-1982 playoffs against Quebec. I think the B's won in OT and I wanted to run up and down the street in my PJ's. I remember my twin brother had the 'good tv' the night that Game 7 was on. I ended up watching on a crappy little Black and White TV and the Bruins lost. It was still a great moment in my life nonetheless. My all-time favorite Bruin/hockey player is Terry O'Reilly. One of the most greatest Bruins to ever play for the Black and Gold. He was a tough guy (hence the nickname Taz) and he always stood up for his teammates no matter what. He was a great leader too and he wasn't the flashiest player ever compared to Neely for example, but still he was an amazing presence on the ice no matter what.

I didn't read much of what you typed. Reason being I just head-banged for about 10 mins straight to Trivium and now I feel a bit woozy and sick. But welcome non the less. The name's Sho.
