"I went back to New York." She started with. "I'll be back, but I'm not sure how long I'll be gone. I don't want you guys to worry. I'll be fine." She said, waiting for their responses.

"I took a flight back to New York." She repeated equally as calmly. "I really don't feel like explaining it over the phone, but I called because I don't want you to worry or come and find me." Jen continued.

"I thought you were only supposed to go for two days?" Jen asked, wondering if this was going to tear their 'coven apart.' "Listen, this has got nothing to do with either of you. It's just time I need away from magic, and time to get back to a semi-normal life.

I know this isn't easy to hear." She said, pausing. "Matt, you deserve to know how I know you, but I can't tell you over the phone, so whenever I do come back to San Fransisco, I'll come and visit." She said, sounding vaguely uncomfortable.

There were several minutes of silence. "Are you guys still there?" She asked, listening intently for the slightest sign of anyone.

She didn't hear any emotion in his voice, which worried her, but she sort of was relieved that she couldn't hear sadness. "Ok, well I'm not sure what else to say, but I do have to go, soon." She said, shrugging.
