'I'm already here, I may well go back with you.' She said as she drew up behind Areli, with a somewhat apologetic shrug towar Rellick. She looked over at Jay. 'Oh. That don't look too good.' She said, wincing slightly as she saw the extent of the damage the hyenas had done.

Jay shook himself, blinking innocently at the King. "But we're not, are we?" Shifting his weight to his paw he winced. "I can walk." I think...
The hyena's teeth had thankfully missed most tendon and ligiments, but had slashed closed to the bone. Putting weight on it caused nerves to flare alive.

Rell growled at the sight of Areli and Brooke, tail twitching in agitation. What would he do if these two got hurt? If any of them got hurt? He was already beside himself at Jay's injury.
Was Amaree the only one who listened? She alone was not enough to protect the cubs if they were attacked.
"Brooke I want you to go home this instant... Tell Amaree I am fine, but I must call Dashira to heal Jay. Areli, seeing as you are an adult, you shall help me support our Dark One to the Lake.. I am glad that you are all concerned for me, but you well-being will always be put before my own.. Please do as I ask." He said in a soft, firm voice. "I do not know how far the Hyenas have gone.. And one Adult Female is not enough to fight them off... "
He eyed the stars and hoped Dashira would answer him.

Brooke hid a scowl. Rellick had a point. She nodded, half-hearted smile hidden by the gloom, and turned tail to run back to the den.
She neared the den, breathing a quick relieved sigh to see Amaree still sitting there. She climbed up the rocks swiftly, alighting into the den noiselessly. 'Rellick's okay,' She panted. 'But Jay's hurt. He and Areli are call Dashira for help.'

Amaree let out a sigh of relief and nodded. "Jay tends to get himself in trouble... I'm not surprised he's hurt. How bad is it?" She stood, letting Jax lay on the floor and go back to sleep. Amaree shook herself off. It was almost morning, and the plains were flushed a Scarlet color. "It's almost dawn. Let's wake up the cubs and get ready for a new day." She hadn't slept most of the night, and hoped that the day would leave time for a quick snooze.

'Pretty bad.' Brooke said, nodding in agreement. She sighed. 'I hope they find Dashira, though.' She drifted off into silence for a moment, and then started to her paws. 'Right, new day.' She looked out over the land, the grass flushed bloodred from the rising sun, and rubbed a paw across her eyes. She shook herself, blinking, and then nudged Jax gently awake.
'Ah?' Jax blinked, and then was immediately up on his feet instinctively. 'Where's 'Reli?' He demanded, glaring up at Brooke fiercely. 'Whad joo do?'

Dashira appeared on the border of Rell's lands at StarFade, her eyes working well as the night slowly slid away to day. In her sleep, she had dreams of blood and pain, and instantly felt called to Scarlet Shadows. If she was right, the Dark One was hurt, and Rell would need her.
Jadera matched Dashira's strides, the adult lioness eager to see her brother since her growth. She smiled at the thought of seeing Rellick again, but worried over what her friend wouldn't say.
Aseeri floated on the breezes, flying ahead and swooping back, keeping an eye out for Hyenas.

"I can walk just fine." The Dark Prince took a few steps, trying to prove it. He gritted his fangs against the torn muscles and managed to make it to the water.
It didn't seem like a good idea to stick his leg in there. Would only make it hurt worse.

Dashira sped to a run. "This way." She called as she followed Aseeri.
Rellick growled at Jay. "Don't move another step."
He eyed the wound, shaking his head, then froze. A strange scent reached him, and he realised it was Dashira.
"Thanks the Rulers of Night and Day." He murmured. "She's here."
Jadera followed her friend, worried for her brother and his Pride. What would she do if something happened to Rell?
Rell smiled as two lionesses rounded the corner of the trees. The first, a jingling Dashira, the second his own dear sister Jadera, an adult. "Jade!"
"Rell!" Jadera called with a joyous voice and ran to him, burying her head in his shoulder. "Brother."
"Sister.. You came?" He smiled and nosed her. "Why?"
"I knew something was wrong." She murmured. "What happened?"
"Hyena attack... Jay's leg.. Looks pretty bad."
"I can fix him." Dashira said simply. "If he will permit me."

Jay eyed the Crimson King and his sister. He was tempted to take a step just to see Rellick's reaction. The dark lion licked at his leg again. It was throbbing now, not quite so violently painful.
"My permission? You already have it, m'lady."

Dashira nodded and stepped to him, eyeing the wound. It was deep, but clean.. She could heal it in a moment.
Aseeri appeared at Dashira's paws, clean mint in her beak. "To heal, yes?"
Dashira nodded. "Jay.. I'm going to have Aseeri put some mint into the wound, it should prevent any pain from the healing."

Areli looked at Jadera with a smile. She nodded to Rellick, and looked at Jay. She couldn't help but to smile weakly, thinking of how she had just been hurt, and how quickly it healed. Areli then turned her gaze back to Rellick and his sister, a weak smile on her muzzle, not sure what she should say, of if to speak at all. She did have something to say, but, the lioness desided it could wait.

Dashira worked silently, murmuring her chants as Aseeri placed the herbs in Jay's wounds, and returned with a leaf full of water to pour over them. The cool water sluiced away the blood and made it easier for Dashira see what needed healing, and she nodded her thanks to her Familiar.
Rellick watched Jay and Dash out of the corner of his eye as he spoke in soft tones with his sister. She told him about his family, his siblings and the Pride, and how she would soon be striking out on her own. He was glad to hear they were all in good health, though was somewhat troubled by the unspoken problems between Brazen and Kerai.

To keep his mind on something other then the healing, Jay turned his eyes to Rellick. He was talking with his sister, who now was an adult. It was not to her his eyes strayed but her brother. "Dashira, is this wrong...?"
