But I'm sure some of you have already known that.

Quote: OR Lucretia could be the mother of Lucia according to theirstar.com, Georg is 29 in GS5 and 41 in GS2 so that's around 12 years -- so unless Lucretia gives birth to Lucia that same year, Lucia would've been 11 in gs2 and she wouldn't have been old enough to be Hugo's mother -- unless he was 10 in GS3 Quote: Oh yeah, I was reading one of the guides at GameFAQs and the document I was using said that Eresh is Euram and Luserina's mother. I was like: "WTF - couldn't be (because she's supposedly a little child)." But then again Eresh kept the lower portion of her face masked constantly and there are adults who are short enough to be that of a child's height. I doubt if this is true... it's very unlikely. Quote: Lucretia says that her earliest memory is that of the explosion of the True Fire Rune during the First Fire Bringer War. So yeah. I agree with Maiden of Night with this one... I didn't see it too. But it's not impossible since GS5 is around 25 years before gs3 and the fire bringer war was 50 before GS3 -- that makes Lucretia more or less 30 years old.

I didn't find that out until a week ago when I was reading the new character profiles on Suikosource. I think that's pretty cool. Bernadette looks pretty young enough to be the Hero's cousin though.
Well, Lucretia being Lucia's mother was a nice theory--one that you just make up for fun. Unless if Lucretia had Lucia before and gave her to the father and just left. I don't know. Making up theories are fun sometimes. You never know what to expect from them.

Well, all I can say is that Konami has a lot to reveal about so many characters in all upcoming games. The characters of any Suikoden game manage to get so in-depth and it makes them so much more interesting. That is what draws ourselves to them and we want to learn more.
I am very interested in Jeane and Viki's enigmatic background as well as other characters such as Eresh, and what happens to Ernst, Norma, and Levi.

All that and more about Killey and Lorelai because all that's said about them is that they are searching for Sindar Ruins and blah.

Konami had already forgot so many characters that need further explanation -- like Yuber and Pesmerga; Crowe and Mazus; Mel of GS3; Millie and Bonaparte... and some others. So I wouldn't be surprised if they also forget about Ernst, Levi and Norma's further adventures.

Well, I played it some time ago. I think, it is much better than Suikoden IV, but the amount of fights is rather annoying and the backgrounds are even more boring than in IV. Star Ocean 3 uses the same optic and there are many more details in the game, although it's much older. It's a pity. But all in all the game was fun! The story really was awsome!

Side games..hmm, I don't think Konami would ever do any justice for those characters and even if they did (say a Suikogaiden 3) - it'd only be limited to Japan.
I just hope the next Suikoden happens in the current time! Or not..cuz I would like to see familiar characters from previous games too.
And what's with V's backgrounds more boring than IV's?! scream Also, the premise of travelling from point A to B on a boat for like 10 minutes sounds waaaay more tedious than fighting a bunch of monsters IMO (I heard there are a lot of enemy encounters while you travel on IV's boat too). The only problem that I could come up with for V is that they should've included those huge dungeon bosses like in III and you get that treasure chest packed with tons of potch, armor and items. That was very very useful.

That's right! I don't think that V's background was boring at all. I thought it was a breath of fresh air! Everything was so green and beautifl. Even the battle system. And, I like getting attacked randomly on the feild. I like it soo much that I even equip Cathari with the Firefly rune! *Of course with her in your party or entourage, you could escape anytime* ninja But I do it because I like POTCH! heart domokun You can buy lotsa things with POTCH! Or Bits or whatever currency you use heart whee

I loved the background for Suikoden V. It was much more colorful than in Suikoden IV. In the fourth game, it was all blue and dull to me. (Of course, V's art hurt my head a little bit when i played it for long periods of time...) And I loved the random encounters. It gave me skill points. 3nodding I didn't really battle for potch and experience since it was all for skill points.

I wasn't saying that I liked Suikoden IV's backgrounds, compared to the other Suikoden games, I hated IV. And I think, Suikoden V is really great. I love Suikoden. I don't want you to understand me wrong. I just think, they could have included more details, the houses were really empty, you must admit that. They should include many nice details such as in the first two Suikoden games. I hate it if details become rare only because the graphic develops. Because of the fixed point of few, it shouldn't have been too hard, to make more furniture, plants etc.
Personally I have come to like running into visible enemies more than random enemies, because, you don't need to fight them twice if you don't want to, and if you want to train, you just change the screen and come back.
