The greens, and blues don't seem to be having trouble sweeping up thread. Yeehaw! This isn't so bad! [+3 Agility] Browns and bronzes, you're struggling just a bit more getting around all the blowing clumps and individual strands. Still, it's good practice! [+1 Agility]
The wind was really whipping the Thread around as Faloth emerged from between. Catching himself before being blown completely out of formation, W'ill helped steady the brown and they dove after a clump of Thread, easily charring it. There was less Thread at this altitude, but it was being blown around a LOT more. Still, Faloth was able to wheel in and out of the clumps with relative ease, and W'ill felt a sense of pride in both himself and his dragon.

This is bad. Very bad. One of your wingmates appears out of Between flaming, but instead of catching a nearby target, they catch you instead. Your dragon roars in pain, blinking hastily Between! Just how bad is the damage? Roll a D4!

Day 3 Roll 1: Nothing, saved by Begath from three clumps
Breathing itself was hard, but he was starting to perk up a little bit after the encouragement of his weyrleader. D'ast wasn't as worn out but the man couldn't really get his dragon out of his flagging funk, at least not until he pointed out a clump. Rallying a little bit, Zetigeth pushed himself forward to flame it and very nearly was heavily scored by two other clumps that neither had noticed in their weariness. Hearts now hammering, adrenaline rushed through them and Zetigeth bugled apologetically to Begath, happy that the blue had saved them with such flair. Three clumps so close together, they really should have known better than that.
It'll be okay big guy, let's just focus.D'ast relayed warmly and the pale brown shook himself.

When he returned from between it was to the waiting arms of wind, which tried to send him into more Thread. But his small size and swift reaction saved him from such a fate.

1. It's bad. Very bad. In fact, coming back into the fray, your realize your dragon slips unconscious from the pain and falls from place! Post this to ensure a queen catches you! A Queen Is Needed! Help Catch Me!
If there are no active Queen Rider's able to make a saving roll, or you simply don't want to RP it out, feel free NOT to post the above prompt. Instead, simply say one of the NPC queens catches you, and is able to drop you and your dragon off successfully at the Weyr for Healing. This is an automatic KO. Your dragon is going to need some major healing. They will not return to the fight. This roll can also be a death roll if you wish it, with neither rider or dragon coming out of Between or the dragon perishing later.
2. The burn is painful, but you think you'll be okay! Moderate Damage -7 HP. They also now suffer a Painful status for the next 2 turns. This will negate any gained XP, and cause double damage if the prompt includes damage (or has you roll for damage).
3. If you're a green, or blue, you hastily weave out of the way. Your wingtips are a little singed, but you make it out without issue! Thank goodness you're so agile! If you're a brown or bronze, take Moderate Damage -4 HP.. A little crispy, but you can carry on the fight.
4. With some fancy wing maneuvering, and a quick roll, you manage to get out of the way successfully! You're not happy about the close call, but at least you and your dragon can carry on!
A suddenly shiver went through Sucurith, and he looked up just in time to see one of his fellow wingmates send flames... right at him! Twisting in the air, Sucurith swerved out of the way - but not before he creeled reproachfully at the offender.
Burning Aces Wing Banashe of Brown Severith HP: 38-2= 36/38 Status Effect: Tongue Bitten x1 (no xp, successes) Ends effect

They had moved to a lower elevation, but that didn't stop the wind. Severith struggled with it as it gusted. He knew with the wind blowing the way it was, it would also toss Thread around willy-nilly. He needed two eyes for this and he only had one! Don't worry, I'm here for you. Banashe gripped her straps tightly as she tried to help direct her brown through the tangles. They did well, but Severith couldn't dodge everything. Several scores along his wings sent him to the cold of Between to freeze them off.
Hour 2; Round 3 Rolls

They maneuver as they can, but still wind up scored. Minor Damage -2 HP 2. 3. 4. 5.

Day 3 Roll 1: Nothing, saved by Begath from three clumps Roll 2:-4 HP
Without any warning at all, just after being saved by a wingmate, another wingmate came out just before them, flame roaring from an open maw. Zetigeth's eyes turned bright white as he jerked violently to the side, D'ast flattened to his back in terror. The phosphorous flames caught the edge of his already damaged wing, scorching it slightly so that it stung on top of the dull throbbing, but as he was already oozing ichor everywhere it didn't seem to be the worst of injuries.

Day 3 Roll 1: Nothing, saved by Begath from three clumps Roll 2:-4 HP - Burned by wingmate Roll 3:-7 HP + Painful - Burned by wingmate
Once again, moments after the first, another wingmate appeared beside them this time. There was no avoiding the pain that flashed over them, even D'ast's arm was caught in the flame this time as it raked across Zetigeth's left shoulder. The brown dropped a few feet from his position, lower this time so that he could recover from the pain of it, so his rider could slap the green flames from his arm and side, grateful that his wherhide had saved him from the worst of it other than the heat that seared. He'd have second degree burns from how close the hide sat on his skin but it was better than what his dragon had suffered.
