 Karthin smiled as he kissed her back. "If they ask then I cannot lie to them. I love you Angela, and I don't care what I have to do to keep you by my side. I would go through the gods themselves to be with you." He told her as he kissed her softly. But enough about that. Let's get dressed and get some food. I think my stomach is going to implode if I don't eat soon." He joked as he got out of bed.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela laughed whole heartily at his comment and she got up and dressed herself as they both made there way out of her room fully dressed,"I guess we should socially mingle... I would like to see if the elders have heard anything else to make sure we are not to leave for war for any reason", she told him,"They have scouts along with the elves with eyes in the demon and orc nations... War is inevitable of course we shall have to battle again I just hope not so soon", she concluded,"We only lost less than a 100 that day but to our small island it can be detrimental". They were nearly to the food hall,"I am sure you suffered great losses as well", she said sadly.

Karthin hung his head down. "We lost more than we could have ever thought. I think the queen said it was around two hundred and fifty or so." He told her. "And that was just the bodies we could find. After it is all said and done we lost almost half of the fighting force we had. It will take a great deal of time to make up for that, or we may have to condense the size of the forest. It's too big now to be protected by the number of people left." He told her as he got dressed. "When the time is right I'll go back to my people to help rebuild or to help condense our forest, but for now the queen is focusing on what to do to make sure we are ready in case another attack targets our home."

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela blinked slowly,'I would not worry about the orcs or the demons for a long while", she told him,"The orcs looked like they brought out there whole army and since its completely gone they have no fighting force the demons are a proud race and find this as embarrassment that all the orcs perished in battle it will probably take several years before something its to happen again", she explained,"I did not know the Elvish people were so little...? I expected much more a couple hundred thousand of you that lived in the surrounding lands".

"That is a misconception that has aided our people for many decades. It's something that we rely on others assuming." Karthin told her. "There are a lot of elves in the world way more than would put a dent in the fight that took place, but they all defected from the queen's rule. They no longer see us as the same. We're just the dumb elves that never left our queen." He explained. "Most of them can return one day if they wish to, but for a lot of them, the elvish kingdom is forever lost. Locked away in a memory they will never be able to get into again. It's a precaution the queen took when she let them leave. For those who can return the kingdom seems like a dream. Something they're not sure is real, but if they desire to they can come back. The closer they get to our home the more of their old lives that they remember." He added. He then took her hand. He kissed her forehead. "One day when I have kids I hope they will see that place as a home to go if they want to." He said smiling.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela nodded slowly as she realized that it was always assumed there were several thousand elves but in the result not all of them served there queen. She smiled at him,"Children? Your talking about children already Karthin how bold of you", she teased him as they entered the hall she took a seat and turned to the assembly of women they seemed happy to see her a few of them seemed to be giving her and karthin suspicious glances but she remained rather happy as she hate dinner with her brethren.

Karthin took a seat beside Angela. He noticed the suspicious glances of some of the women, but brushed them off. He knew what the plan was and he would act accordingly. He talked to some of the women at the table, mostly just answering their questions about his people. Halfway through dinner he stood up and grabbed his glass. "Might I suggest a toast? To those who died in the fight, and to those still carrying on in their stead. May the gods be kind to their souls, and may we find peace without them." He said as he looked around the table.

Angela blinked slowly and so did the other women they were all speechless but angela seeing the situation tried to recover it smoothly,"We toast for the fallen... may there souls rest in peace", she concluded standing up with her glass everyone woman did in accordance,"May they all many feast in the great Valhalla", she concluded and there was a moment of silence as each one sipped and they all sat down as everyone resumed dinner..

Karthin leaned in close to Angela. "Did I say something stupid again?" He whispered before he continued to eat his food. In his home that would have been a great thing to toast to. To honor the fallen by achieving the goal they did for. He thought about it for a minute while stabbing his food with his fork. He tried to shake off the thoughts, but they were persistent little things that kept wiggling their way into his mind.

Angela shook her head as she whispered back,"Not necessarily but you have to understand you and I worship different because of heritage and culture", she explained,"For a stranger regardless if he has proved himself in battle to our people makes an abrupt toast it may make people uncomfortable especially so soon after the dead have been laid to rest..", she then smiled at the others and rose from her table,"Well.. I'll be leaving for the afternoon", she bowed to her sisters before leaving looking back hoping Karthin would follow with her.

Karthin stood up and bowed to them all. "I should be leaving as well, but before I go I want to apologize to everybody. I'm still trying to get used to your customs. Please forgive my ignorance." He said before walking out of the room and catching up to Angela.

The women gave him a soft aw while they told him not to worry about it and began to clean up the meal when he caught up to her Angela pulled him playfully into the bathhouse and locked the door,"You wish for a nice hot soothing bath after such an embarrassing moment?", she teased him playfully as she began to slip from her dress to step into the water.

Karthin chuckled as she pulled him into the bath house. "I've done more embarrassing things in my life before." He told her with a grin.
He quickly shed his cloths and followed Angela into the water. "Be that as it may though, I would never disagree to bathing with you my love." He said before kissing her deeply.

Angela smiled as she embraced him kissing him back,"You seemed to have other.. suggestions in mind than just bathing it seems..", her eyes twinkled,'I didn't expect you to be hungry for my love so soon after our first session", she told him playfully giving him a splash as she swam away from him to sit onto one of the stone pillars in the center of the bathhouse.. they were small but they just had it to where you could sit in the water with out having to drown yourself for the depth of the bathhouse came up past most of the girls waist,"While we are relaxing", she commented,"Do you wish to hear the legend of my people?", she asked her eyes glowing slighty in the darkened room.

Karthin laughed as Angela swam away from him. He followed her and smiled as he sat beside her. "I would love to hear the story of your people." He told her as he sank down a little further into the water.
