Ashton is first and foremost a very upbeat, optimistic person. Her work sometimes comes first, but most times the happiness of others overrides work results. While she is generally happy with a ‘sunshine-and-rainbows’ view of the world, she has a tendency to lapse into bouts of depression. Whilst these bouts never usually last long, they’re crippling and have led her to harming herself in some way. Usually calm, cool-headed and friendly, Ashton has some extremely deep-seated anger issues that she refuses to get help for, and is a ticking time bomb. This has already manifested several times, her anger causing her to physically harm either herself or others. Regret follows these outbursts, depressing her into a bout of alcoholism that she also refuses help for. While it’s extremely hard to get her angry to the point of her exploding, when she does she becomes a violent, vindictive, manipulative b***h bent on making whoever pissed her off’s life as miserable as she can for however long she deems necessary. Ashton is like a dog that has been abused in the past. Because she has been. To the point where if SOMEONE doesn’t have at least a gentle leash on her she will snap at some point, and she will snap violently. It’s also not a good idea to poke and poke and poke at her until she DOES snap because then she will hate you for all eternity no matter how nicely you treat her afterwards. She is insanely possessive. When it comes to material things, if she wants it bad enough, she’ll get it. Once it’s hers, no one dare touch it. As for people, she’s possessive to a point with her friends. Letting one friend meet another friend is something she avoids, since the few times it’s happened she’s been left in the dust. However, relationship-wise, she has the potential to be possessive on a much higher level. The mostly stems from jealousy and her mountain of insecurities, as well as an effect of her hallowed status. Basically, what’s hers is hers and may whatever god have mercy on your soul if you try to take what’s hers away. She is smarter than she lets on, being one of those children who failed much of school because everything was too easy for her, so she just didn’t do it. Constantly fought her teachers, never did her homework and drew in class instead of listening. Basically, she was a piss-poor student until she got into an assistant program at a science facility. Ash has what some people call an oral fixation. She love love loves to chew and bite on things. She usually settles on pencaps, pens, pencils, rubber bands, paperclips or gum, but if she’s lacking any of the following, the collar of her shirt does just as well. Also all hoodie strings are at her mercy. A pyromaniac to the core, Ashton has been known to play with fire when she has nothing else to do. If she didn’t work, her days would be spent burning things. In her teenage years, she was charged with burning down an abandoned apartment building. Though the charges were later dropped, her mother banned her from using fire in any situation and would allow her a lighter if she came home with ‘good’ grades. As an adult she keeps herself busy with work, avoiding using flames whenever possible. It doesn’t work so well sometimes. On the left side of her neck, just under her ear is a visible, jagged scar from a bad accident involving an ATC. This scar is EXTREMELY sensitive, and is one of her erogenous zones. In case you don’t know what that means, it basically means that simply touching the scar will arouse her. Let alone stroking, licking or kissing it. All her other scars have a story to them, but most are from playing rough as a kid or from picking scabs, bugbites, or self-harm.

In-Depth Personality Varok is fiercely protective of his friends and family, specifically with his younger siblings, whom he would give his life to protect. He also tends to establish bonds with the people he works with, often leading to mutual respect and admiration. Varok cares greatly for the life of innocents, something that caused him to argue with his superiors in the military. During a mission to capture a dangerous being, his partner at the time sacrificed herself to save Varok from the criminal, while he could do nothing to protect her. His partner's death was a very serious blow to Varok, and following that encounter he grew distant and cold in response to the emotional and psychological scarring. Varok now shows a cold acceptance toward most of the circumstances in his life and shows little concern for location or who he'll be working with. He is hindered from some aspects of daily life by sudden onsets of violent memories from his past missions. Varok shows deep concern for his comrades. He is very quick to assure rookies that their teammates have his back and that "No one gets left behind." He shows anger when his teammates die in the line of duty. When he has time to settle down, he can be charming, warm, and has a hint of a sense of humor.
