Melody held her own for some time against the guards, all her training paying off in those moments, but she was eventually overwhelmed, the struggle evened, getting hit a few times before she tried to come at them again. They had enough as one of them opened fire and hit her in the stomach. Melody stumbled back in surprise, hands on the wound and looking down at the blood, stunned from shock. There was a moment of silence before one guard moved to hit her in the head with the butt of the gun, knocking her to the ground and another shot her before the rest of them shot her several times before stopping. They checked her pulse, as if it wasn't clear she was dead, then they dragged her out of the room, blood trailing against the ground.

Kae kept moving, trying to get to the sushi restaurant that Tri mentioned. She suddenly stopped and collapsed.

Leukos blinked and stared down at Kae, taking a moment to even notice the amount of blood pooling up around her head. Alarm set deep in his eyes as he suddenly turned, picked up Hexxis and started running, the sound of a ricocheting bullet that he knew was for him.

The guards were taken by surprise with the trap, the first four shocked and fell to the floor. The other two couldn't drag Melody on their own with how heavy she was, letting her go and one radioed in that someone was using the suits while the other opened fire in defense while they moved to cover.

Hexxis held tight to Leukos, the sounds of bullets ricocheting off nearby items as Leukos ran.

Leukos was trying to find a place to go. He didn't know the meet up location, and to go back to the car to look at her phone would be suicide. s**t! He kept moving until the bullets stopped coming but he didn't let his guard down one bit. He had to figure out what to do. His hair....His hair was a dead giveaway. Dammit. If he could get Hexxis somewhere safe, maybe he could draw them away? "Ame, they can probably see my hair from a mile away.... Do you think its safer for her if we split up. If we stay together, they are easier to find us but I will fight to protect you both. I don't know where to go, there's not many options."

The guards had come prepared, pulling up masks with googles up at the alarm. They saw him coming, and opened fire once he got close enough. Two of them actually grazing joints to cut skin painfully. Melody'w body was heavy. 350 lbs, maybe more. It was taking a lot to move with her.

"Yeah, and then be the only idiot with a short on his head and just as noticeable." he retorted dryly before taking the second advice, pulling spirits to rile in the area and start affecting the surroundings. But not before a bullet actually hit the back of his shoulder, a hiss of pain but luckily didn't hit Hexxis. He kept moving, going towards where Ame said. "Well, I certainly hope so."

The guards continued to fire at Tri, as more guards were on their way to try to stop him. Melody was limp in his grasp, covered in blood and not breathing. There were guards at the end of the hall, now moving towards him, guns drawn and masks up. Their radios were going off, relaying information. Confirming the woman and man in the security room were alive. That Kae was dead, and they had lost sight on Leukos and Hexxis. One of the guards radioed that they were converging on Tri's location and were given the order to take him in alive if they could manage it.

Leukos took a breath and thought about it. "I'd have to put you down to do that, and I don't think we have that kind of time just yet." he commented and kept moving. Ducking into the archway, he ran through the garden and took the first path his gut told him to take. Once they seemed to have a moment out of sight, he put Hexxis down and pulled his jacket up over most of his head and ducked down for the moment. "I don't know where we were supposed to meet Tri. And right now, we need to get to a safe place and..." his voice trailed off. And what? Call Mara? Kae? Who could he contact. Everyone was likely captured or dead by now. He had no one to turn to. "...mom... what can we do..."

"...we could hide out in a renegade base, but if Zaku has gotten any word to them, they'll kill you. You betrayed them. So that may be too risky." she spoke suddenly and sighed.

Leukos frowned, not that he regretted selling out Zaku like that, it was that his entire family... the one he chose, was likely gone. He needed to meet back up with Tri somehow, if he was even still alive.

The guards cursed as Tri disappeared with Melody. They radioed it in and were moving to try to secure the building and keeping up to date to try to follow where he was going.

"R-right... near Midena..." he muttered, then looked around and tried to get his bearing before looking to Hexxis. "Can you move on your own or should I carry you?"

Hexxis thought on it, her panic rising from not knowing where Tri was and what would come of all this, but eventually she held out her hand to hold his but said nothing.

Melody had been shot several times and had been bleeding out bad. By this point, there were no lifesigns. She had no pulse and she wasn't breathing. She had lost a lot of blood that the likeliness of her being revived were incredibly thin if not nonexistent.

Leukos frowned and took her hand. Okay. They needed to get out of the city. He took note of where to go to get to the train to get out of the city toward Midena. Or he could try to steal a car.... he...did know how to do that. He sighed. Yeah, that would he safer. "Come on." he spoke and led her away to where there was an unattended parking lot and broke into a car to hotwire it. "Keep a look out. If you see anything suspicious or the glint of a gun, get to cover." he warned.

Hexxis nodded and then looked around to keep watch for anything out of the ordinary.

The guards still couldn't figure out where Tri had gone, searching the area outward from SIU but couldn't seem to locate him. Even Leukos and Hexxis had been off their radar long enough that they had no idea where they had gone. You'd think it would be easy to keep track of colorful metas such as them but... Apparently not.

Leukos was able to get the car started. "Okay, Hexxis. Get in. We are going to meet Tri in Midena." he spoke and waited for her to get into the backseat before driving off toward the edge of the city.

There was nothing out of the ordinary and no one he recognized in the restaurant. And nowhere in sight was any signs of the rainbow haired teen or his daughter. At this point, no news was probably good news. Things had quieted down as the guards tried to find those who had escaped their pursuits to no avail. Tri was able to leave the city unseen, making his way to Midena without obstruction.

Even Leukos was able to get out of the city fairly easily now that he was driving a car. He wasn't as fast as Kae, but still making good time to the location in question. He kept an eye on Hexxis from the rear view mirror. She didn't look to good, staring off with a pale complexion like she could probably throw up again but was doing good not to. Leukos frowned. He was scared and didn't know what else he could do. He debated stopping to get her something easy to eat or at least something to drink. If only he could contact Tri somehow.... just to make sure he was okay. For Hexxis' peace of mind.
