She was almost surprised as she drew her blade, moving through with a simple slash to cut down the last obstacle between her, and the outside. It was..surprisingly light opposition for the entrance...
And, as she paced out of the mist-wall, looking up at the tower..She held a pause for a few moments..

"Well...the outside's no better.." she called, glancing to the sky. "And I bet Belzaboul is still out there.."
She tensed her grip on her blade at this, biting a lip. They needed to take him down, before anyone else could get hurt..

Youmu Konpaku, the Black SamuraiAs Youmu pondered her course of action, she could hear the buzzing of Belzaboul...or, at least one of his lackeys.
She circled the corner to see a myriad of demons that were threatening hte tower...aiming to bring it down from the outside. She sneered..before gripping her weapon.
"I won't let them.." she called, feeling the presence of a demon coming over her....Filling her with energy. "I'm going to protect them too....And I won't let you take them out."
Slashes rang out, parts were flying everywhere, and demons were flung against the alleys. The girl was significantly stronger than the demons on her own...So, with the extra energy from the demon supplemented her, they had no chance.
She eventually came down from the high of the demonic essence, starting along Iwatodai some more.

Kou Nekata, Lion of the Bad Future
"Two on one might seem unfair, but I promise you would rather it be US than HER."He never ceased to be amazed with the amount of destruction that his sister could leave in her wake with that simple whip; demons would take wounds so deep they would practically beg her not to hit them again...only to get hit again, and again, and as many times as it took until they were either nothing but magatsuhi or they grovelled out of the beating into her service from that moment forward. Some of her current servants likely still felt the scars from that, if he had the time to stop and look at them, but he really didn't if he was going to manage to carve through enough of these weak bastards on the 6th Floor to avoid having to spill all of the beans about the question she had kept asking him on the way up the Tower. He didn't feel like talking about that just yet, and the more that she pressed him about it, the easier it was going to be for her to just see right through him and figure out the rest. Best to n** the curiosity in the bud now, if he could, which he had to admit he probably couldn't forever. One thing at time, however. First, the devils...which weren't a huge challenge on this floor, as well. His nail bat was machine-like as it pistoned into the face of devils left and right, racking up a kill count so high that he was sure he'd have won even if the Tiger of their group was with them!
And no sooner had he finished off the last of their lesser foes than he heard the telltale shout from the staircase busting out into the open of the Tower behind him!
Immediately turning from the carnage with a rather remarkable level of disinterest, his eyes eased a little and his mouth curled into a knowing smirk. Of course he was fine. Of course he had made it here safely in spite of all the insanity in this city. Of course...because he was their brother, after all.
"Took you long enough," the Lion smirked at his Tiger brethren with the contest forgotten, holding out a fist to bump as he once again felt whole...having his twin back by his side, "We're claiming our very own skyscraper. 6 Floors down and s**t for a challenge so far. Of course they had been the cause of the area being nearly completely rid of demons...Why..?
Because they were his family. Kyou's grin went as wide as Kou's wouldn't...the broad smile contrasting the sharp, if small smirk of his brother.
"Ahhh, I don't wanna hear it." he quipped back to his brother, his own fist meeting Kou's in a practiced, familial bump. They were tough enough as individuals, but now that he was united with his brother again...
They would be unstoppable. The grin never faded as the more serious brother stated his goals, intending to take the skyscraper for themselves.
"Of course! The Boss guys are always on the top floor!" he called with a grin, flicking out his phone. "I expect by then, we'll get SOME semblance of a challenge."
Baihu appeared at his side, and the Tiger's grin was infectious. He'd found his siblings...And they were kicking a**. So, there was only one thing to do...
Show off his powers, and how much he'd grown. Enough for Kou to raise an eyebrow, he bet. And woe betide any poor demons that thought to get between them and their goal. Why?
Because they were THE Nekata bash brothers, Dammit!
A glance went to the sister at this, giving the tiniest bows of apologies, even with his familial, if slightly foolish grin was plastered on his face. She was just as good as ever, it seemed...And no less imposing. But, they were family....
And Families looked out for each other, yeah?
"Sorry if I worried ya, Kyouko." he called, popping his knuckles. "Shouldn't happen again. Only worrying you need to deal with..Is worrying about who has the highest body count at the end of this."

Kyouko Nekata, The Seafoam Guardian of the North  "Oh jeez! That Nekatalapathy is strong! Even I can hear him!" the girl covered her ears, the yell loud enough to attract every single demon in the tower towards them. She grinned playfully, before turning her gaze to the familiar figure of her brother making his way up to them. "Kyou! You aren't dead!" the teal haired girl hugged him tightly, before stepping back and punching him on the arm. "Don't you ever do that again!" He couldn't go around getting lost like that! And having more badass demons that her?!? How dare him!
Her gaze fell back to Kou, giving him a look that said that she hadn't forgotten about the challenge and the topic they had been talking before...but she would drop it for the time being. Was Kyou aware of this secret? She didn't know...but whatever it was...she would find out.
"Alright then! I am totally winning this, guys. Sorry not sorry!" the younger Nekata giggled, before cracking her whip on the floor. The three of them were together again...now they would be unstoppable.

"Your spear is likely good for swift strikes as well. I tend to try to move quickly, and then fall into a stance so I can resume at a moment's notice."
The Setanta nodded, taking mental notes as she drew...and sheathed her blade, showing him her quick-draw...And eventually pausing.
"A spear has long reach..So You can use it to strike from further than they expect." she called, gesturing with her sword as if it were one. "So..next enemy. I'll let you handle. Okay?"

Shortly after, she returned to Setanta, blood marring her uniform for a few moments as she went back to her place, wiping her blade once more.

She disarmed him for what felt like the fifth time now, sheathing her blade as she looked back at him.
"Once more. With intent to KIll." she stated, holding her blade at the ready. The two engaged in heated combat for a few more scuffles, before eventually resting..an onlooking demon chattering..and skulking up to her.
"Hm..? Ah.sure." she called, tapping her phone to it. The Loa demon wanted no part of their weapons...but, was not above joining them it seemed. And once again, she felt herself enjoying her role as a teacher.

That would be the perfect send-off to Iwatodai, the girl thought..as she cleaved through them.
Setanta's moves were tightened...faster..swifter than before...
And she could feel a growing sense of pride. The demon was getting stronger..because of her lessons, and experience.
"Perfect. We'll rest a while longer..and then we'll head to another town." she called, kneeling down. "But for now...We should meditate on our actions...and steel ourselves for the coming onslaught."

"Two on one might seem unfair, but I promise you would rather it be US than HER."It was plain, wasn't it? The three of them together had managed to survive for so long relying only one one another, and at times, the assistance of the rest of their family, there was no way that this Apocalypse was going to get the better of them if everything they had faced thus far hadn't! And reuniting with his 'twin' did fill him with a renewed vigor, one that the rest of the devils in this Tower were going to rue very soon. His bat-arm swung lazily at his side, loosening the shoulder joint as he smirked at the duo, then back towards the stairwell to the 7th Floor.
"10th Floor might have been underselling it. Together, we might just reach that final boss tonight," his lips curled into a smirk as he started up the stairs, the two of them following along with him...and when they burst out into the 7th Floor they were a whirlwind of bats, daggers, and whips sending devil blood splattering all over the windows as they tore through them like a hot knife through butter. And in no-time flat they had cleared not just the 7th, but the 8th Floor as well, a deep breath filling Kou's lungs as he rested his stained bat on his shoulder, glancing back at his siblings confidently.
"You guys better keep up," he challenged them with a smirk, starting back towards the staircase...expression turning menacing as he prepared to engage the devils yet again, "Or I'm going to run away with it..."Quote: 38 Tokens

Kyou Nekata"You're damn straight we'll make it to the top!" the boy called, having followed his twin up to the seventh..and then eighth floor. A tornado of violence would indeed barrel through, and his demons would supplement the ones he missed...
"Hey, I just wiped out half the goddamn lower floor myself! Ain't no way I'm going to lose this time! Isn't that right Black Samu.."
Right...The boy turned, and the mysterious person wasn't there anymore. Someone that had helped him, and left mysteriously...
He started to lightly not-worry for their safety, before noticing the killing resume without him.
"Ah?! Bullshit! Girimehkla! Let's show them how it's done!"
He didn't have time to worry...he had to WIN this challenge! The challenge to kill the most demons!
