Event Phase As the reflection of Alex remains on space 31... ...a strange mist shoots up from a grate in the tile under its feet and surrounds it! However, the reflection is unaffected. As the reflection of Rhys stops on space 33... ...a light rune activates! A barrier forms around it, trapping it in place for 1 turn. As the revenants go to space 13... ...a strange mist shoots up from a grate in the tile under their feet and surrounds them! However, they are unaffected.

Annis sighs and stays where she is, shifting to sit for a moment on the hard tile. Then she remembers the water, and she stands up again, grumbling about wet pants as she rubbed her hands over her arms. This place sucks.
The company, thankfully, is a different story. Annis offers Rhys a grateful smile despite her consternation. "Thanks. It's good to know we can count on you when we need it." [Talk] She pats his shoulder gently, then glances toward where Alex's and Rhys' shadows still stand.
The sooner they get this done, the better. There was at least still the rest of this place to check out before they hightailed it out of there, so hopefully the experience wouldn't be a total loss.

"Mhm, you can always count on me..." as Rhys nodded in response to Annis. He paused for a bit after Annis gently pat his shoulder unexpectedly. Rhys had a warm feeling in his heart at that slight moment.
He looked around to see if there was any more casualties among his allies. To his right, Rhys saw Alex as he had many arrows stuck all over his body like a prickly porcupine.
"Hey Alex, everything okay there friend?!" Rhys quickly rushed over to check up on Alex.
