[ Leaving Towns ] It wasn't as if they'd gotten much sleep before the alarms blared them awake, so Robert was already a groggy, grumpy fuss when he heard his name, and tried to slam his pillow harder over his head to shut the sound of alarms out. It didn't work, of course, so the pillow was thrown across the room and he pushed himself up to sit. Mimsy already had the baby in her arms, which alerted him that he needed to wake up faster, and his arms automatically wrapped around her to comfort the rocking woman and the child in her arms. "Shhhh," He whispered, holding them close. "It's okay. Wrap him up, and we'll go see what's wrong." He could tell she wasn't settling down, even as she mentioned that Svensyl was gone. It took him a full twenty seconds to understand what that sentence meant, and when he finally got it, the gentle rocking he'd been doing stilled. His arms turned into stone, while he tried to get Jezebel's attention. His weapon hardly ever talked to him, but that never stopped him from knowing she was there. He called for her in his mind, and felt nothing. No sarcastic silence. No annoyed sigh. Nothing. Nothing. He held his hand out to try and summon her away from Mimsy and the baby, and this, too, proved a failure. "We need to get up to the main building." prolixity will need to edit when home After several moments of staring blankly at Noah, Al seemed to finally get his bearings. He slid from the bed, naked and still covered head to toe in the sparse shimmer of glitter from recent incidents. He walked over to the dresser and grabbed the first pair of shorts in there. He staggered backwards and landed into the bed, legs in the air as he tried in earnest to get them through the tiny, hard to aim at, leg holes. He eventually figured it out. He stood again and looked over at Noah, "I'm ready, let's go." He wasn't all that ready.

The fear was out of control as she lunged in to stab again. "Why can't you leave us alone? Why can't I have a home? Why you take the nice people?" Jacob yelped, and closed his eyes against the debri as the thing shattered the glass. He frantically brushed the glass dust off his face, so he could open his eyes again and see where it wa- ohgod it was right above him! A few hysterical giggles bubbled up from inside him as Jacob leaned away from the reaching claws. "Not okay, I'm not okay! Bad touch! Of all the things that Abbi could have been offended about in this moment, it was the fact that The 7 Foot Ginger Wonder over here called her a little girl. She was totally going to call him that when she could, yanno, actually talk again.
Her scratching wasn't doing much good (damn her need to keep her fingernails close clipped!), so Abbi switched to hair pulling. She was rewarded with a great clump of hair that she shook away and went straight back to tugging more as harshly as she could. It was kinda difficult given the whole being strangled thing but Cameron was trying and that was doing something to cheer her on.

There was quite a racket in the dorms, but for the most part, Lawrence's room was intact. He had tidied up a little, and when the yells outside intensified, closed his window - all that lay beyond it was vines. No one had told him to go help anyone or anything.
So he just, hadn't.

[Dorms] "No you're not," Noah said patiently, and got up and dug a shirt out of the dresser. Al being sleepy and disoriented after he woke up was familiar in principle if not in degree, and the familiarity helped settle Noah's sense of confusion and panic. He dropped the shirt on Al's head, then thought better of it and sorted the shirt out so that it was aligned correctly. Then he went to shove his feet into his own boots. "Can you - can you hear Nuru?" he asked nervously.

She kept on screaming and screaming, a panicked animal noise as a surge of strength had her turning the balance, had the both of them crashing down onto the ground. Rage overcoming her for a moment, Creedence hit the unconscious body again and then move to hit it once more before catching herself. Gazing up at Dawson, then Maebe and the girl she didn't know, Creedence slowly got up. "Okay," she answered to some question that was never asked. "Thanks..." Head slowly waving back and forth as she moved, Creedence turned toward the monster. "That's not a zombie thing...that's not...right..." HP: 40 Virus: 35 Mob HP: down
