Slowly Zephar had caught up with the rest of the group of those who were lagging behind. By time he reached where his Scizor had stopped Scyja was the first one who reached its destination, beating out all others. "Great chase Scyja, its the least i'd expect from one of my pokemon" he commented.

Scyja beamed a bit, as it had slightly redeemed itself from its encounter with the bellsprout earlier. From at least what he could tell from his trainer. Zephar was a bit of a fickle trainer though he could be lying with that expression.

Becka chuckled as she caught up with Raven, "Never mind, maybe the next one" she said, petting the Shinx who stopped and looked frustrated and upset he'd been beaten when they had been SO close

(Lol i so totally derped on that.. haha)

Raven saw that the Scizor's trainer hadn't actually CAUGHT the Pokemon yet so he leaped up and gave chase again, Becka was surprised, the chase was indeed on again ... she chuckled

Although Shaun hadn't been close to the Togepis, he was able to get a pretty good look at the activity thanks to his camera. The two found themselves trainers, and it turned out Lily Rose soon came back with one in a pokeball. "Congratulations!" Shaun said to Joey, lowering his camera. Then he noticed something had spooked the Growlithe...ah, the Victreebel from before had been let out of his pokeball. without needing to be asked, Shaun picked up the pup and helped her back onto Salvo with her trainer.

By then yet another pokemon had been spotted, and a bunch of people were rushing off after it. "Hmm, what do you think it is this time?" he commented to Joey. "Why don't we go see what they've found?" He then nudged Salvo, who started walking again. The Tropius and his trainer were traveling at a much slower pace than the racing trainers, but they'd catch up eventually.

Raven flopped out, he'd had enough, he'd gotten close, that was as much as he could do, plus he was still on the lookout for Victreebel with suspicious eyes

He noticed her face grow red and panicked since he doesn't know if that would make her tear up later. "Uh. Uh anyone could mistake him for a female, honest," he blurted out, while waving his hands to calm her down. In the end he resorted to his sense of humour. "Piko is quite pretty. He could have a shot at entering beauty contests," again, he wasn't sure if she heard since she started to tell him about a Ralts she once knew when she was young.

No more was to be said, as he listened to her talk until she was done. "I think you see them as your friends, that is how I see them too. I don't expect them to exert their energy and I don't want to abuse their full potential." He looked at her as she tilted her head staring at Piko. The Togekiss noticed her and tilted his head too, since he saw the female trainer and her bellsprout do the same thing. "Pi -ko," he greeted them.

Niko was surprised by her unexpected questions again. "You are telling me that they are not supposed to say their own names?" he asked back, while pondering on that statement. Now that she mentioned, he knew that only his Torchic (Sia) and Togekiss (Piko) seem to be doign that quite a lot. The others in his team just say their own species' name... "Huh, odd. I don't know how they managed to do that then."

The trainer flinched as his Togekiss suddenly took flight as random pokeballs were being pelted at the pair of chicks. He used his hands to cover his head in case someone ended up with bad aim. "I don't have the heart to separate the pair. If I'd caught one, the guilt would eat me alive," he told Rhei. "What about you? Are you content with having caught just one pokemon from this trip?"
