The girl sprayed the injured areas of Zubat, and looked off to this new member. Maybe it would be better to leave it out of its ball so that it could learn what battling was all about on her team. She felt that she may use Zubat for the Gym Leader battle since this Pokemon was not affected too much by Grass and Poison-type moves. These two types of moves were the Grass Gym Leader’s main weapons. To have a Pokemon that wasn’t affected too much by these moves would help her a whole heaping lot in the upcoming battle.

It wasn't long before they'd rejoined up with their trainer, the pale teen giving them both an appraising look to check for any injuries before he turned to look at Emmet, continuing their conversation from before. "So, have you ever been to Alola?" he questioned, eyebrow quirking as Morta let herself out and melded into his shadow; he'd wondered why she hadn't done that earlier. "Only once," Emmet paid no mind to Grayson's pokemon, adjusting his glasses as the two officially entered the city and began walking past a few random buildings. "It's a popular place for those on vacation and honeymooners." Grayson hummed thoughtfully at this information, not finding it incredibly useful but storing it away anyway.

With no other reason to stay in Cerulean other than for its gym there was really no other reason to dawdle, so rather than waste time sight-seeing Grayson took immediately to searching for the building marked with the gym's logo. "Do you have a plan of action?" Emmet questioned, his eyes roaming over the few pokemon the other male already had out. Grayson simply hummed before he nodded and jerked his head down at Charon, who was far too busy brooding to realize he was being talked about. Emmet quirked an eyebrow. "A fire type? You do realize that this gym specializes in water types, don't you?" He recalled the Litwick had a rather powerful grass attack, Energy Ball, but it was certainly a risk, wasn't it? Going against the weak pokemon a trainer sent out was different than taking on a league sanctioned gym leader.
"I'm aware," Grayson answered before he gave a yawn. "Don't worry too much about it, I've thought of a plan." He reached up to lazily tap his temple, as if that would provide more assurance, and gave an even lazier grin before he turned back around. From off his belt loop he released Viduus, the Gourgeist stretching himself out towards the sky before he settled down and looked expectantly up at his trainer. The two stared at each other, a silent conversation occurring between the two, before Viduus gave a sudden nod and trotted off in an unknown direction. Emmet furrowed his brow, confused, but decided not to question it as he continued walking with Grayson. This was his gym battle, and he had very little interest in interfering.

The Pokeball rolled over a few times, signaling the battle between the Oddish and Misa’s desire to catch it. In the end it was her desire to win this small round creature that ultimately led to its capture. The girl’s heart skipped with joy as another addition was added to the team as well as to the Pokedex. Misa went over to pick-up the ball while she gave a thumbs up to her Pokemon. She knew it couldn’t see her but she still wanted to do it. Wouldn’t it have been nice to know if her Pokemon could actually see her praising it?

With the Oddish’s ball disappearing in a wonderful light she knew that its data must have been stored properly. Meeting such wonderful Pokemon was one of the greatest perks with becoming a Breeder-in-training. At least she was able to meet many kinds of Pokemon. Well, with one of those Pokemon crossed off the list it was still time to continue on touring through the city.
