Eostre HP: 12/20 Eostre does 3 damage.
Eostre managed to land another punch, and watched as Aandes freed an angry wing-beast lusus. There really was something relaxing about a battle that put Eostre in a good mood!

Odette dealt 3 damage. Odette hacked and slashed in wide arcs, trying to clear the area around her. Now that someone had pointed out how out of shape she was, she was starting to realize the brunt of the damage she had taken. Her body was hurting, and it would probably hurt a few days after, too. Vremea dealt 3 damage. Finally, a hit! Whacking his other shoulder hard, Vremea ran off like a deer, managing to avoid another hit from him and hoping she actually managed to hurt him this time.

Zindel failed freeing a lusus. Zindel had settled himself on the floor, trying to pull apart the vines with a closer view before and kinda ignoring their talk. He looked up after hearing his name being called, confused-- why would they need him? He almost bumped into the head of Voscil from how close she was, and after he noticed her proximity, Zindel blinked twice and flushed in embarrassment. What the hell was she doing, so close to his face?! He quickly recoiled, falling backwards into the vines and growling. "DON'T! Get so close!!" He exclaimed in a rush, really disliking how close she was to his face. After a minute, Zindel got over it, taking a deep breath and recuperating. "Gah. It might be better. It looks like the direction Etsali was in. Maybe she's over there." He said, looking away and huffing a bit, not caring anymore but still a little frazzled.

Despite how he'd try to copy what Zindel and Voscil did when they managed to free a lusus each, Reemus would just end up on his behind again. Hmm. Maybe they were secretly stronger than him? Maybe he'd need to bulk up a little after this just so he wouldn't look so bad at this hero gig.
After another failure, Reemus was content to just watch Zindel flip out a little at Voscil getting close to him. Good thing he hadn't tried something similar, although he would LOVE to touch the sash around Zindel's waist. But apparently he'd get yelled at for the proximity, and people being mad at him was Not Good. Oh well.

MamaJu's HP: 23/40Free! - Unsuccessful Her full attention was back on the woofbeast-like troll when he talked about Flarping. Even in the middle of this madness she took the time to look surprised at him. Her eyes went wide as she clasped his shoulder. "Hey, once we get past this craziness we'll have to play together! It's a whole lot of fun, you make characters and..." she tried to help pull at the vines struggling, and realizing she was unable to free this particular one. "and uh. Play as them. I dunno much about you, but we'll have to hang out when we're not all over the place okay?." She laughed sheepishly, assuring him she meant it with a nod of her head. The promise while spoken quickly, still was an invitation for a future time. The fact she'd been close enough to make Zindel trash and look shocked hadn't occured to her until he was actually reacting. "What?" she asked at first looking perplexed, until he recoiled back. "Ohh, sorry!" She giggled patting at his shoulder very briefly, only because he'd reacted so strongly, and his words. While her brow remained arched she gave him a little bit more space (barely). Following the direction he pointed, the yellowblood made a thoughtful hum like sound. "Well, lets all head that way then and join up with her!" She replied almost automatically. Looking back at Reemus she blinked as he had a hard time, shaking her head. "Hey no, seriously I tried so many times too. You're doing awesome! I'm just glad we got more involved~ I only get it right if I get a good hold on these stupid vines and it's not easy." She eye'd her sore palms, wincing as she flexed and closed her fingers uncomfortably. Reemus's blunders were her own as the vine she'd been pulling at slipped away from her hold. All her cool kid points had been used up as she came up empty handed. Her fast momentum meant she wobbled and teetered nearly falling as she awkwardly righted herself. Once settled on her feet she moved in the direction she'd been pointed at, going looking for the orangeblood and signs of Keeper. "Heyo! We got this cool dude to help us!" She pointed at Reemus proudly grinning.

Keeper HP: 28 Failed to save a lususSinged from too many near escapes and panting from all the running, Etsali was more than overjoyed to finally hear a familiar voice ahead. She stumbled to a stop beside Voscil, giving her and Zindel a tired grin before turning it on Reemus. "A cool dude? Not bad! All I found was...more fire." She gave a little 'what can you do' shrug, laughing. "I'm Etsali! Nice to meet you. Maybe now we can take care of more vines together, you think?" She tilted her head to indicate a nearby lusus she'd been about to attempt to free.

Tamiya 18/20 AGI b trinket
There was no use. Tamiya slowed to a stop. She was doing a bit better on accuracy now, but still not making a dent. So long as she was unharmed. Tamiya sighed and stretched her digits. Her makeup threatened run down her face if the heat got any more intense.
Tamiya has done 0 damage.

for trolls who have not posted yet You start this battle with the amount of HP you lost during the CYOA subtracted from your health. Groups that reached Aendal's lair first have rested and do not have a health penalty.
Trolls who have lost their lusii: Your lusus has been turned against you, and is struggling against Aendal’s influence and the plants that are holding it hostage. Before you can take part in the battle, you may attempt to free them. Write a RP post in which your troll frees your lusus; you may decide how difficult it is to free them, and how serious their injuries are. Once you get your lusus back, your HP will be the standard 40 for lusii, minus any health lost during the CYOA (except for groups who have rested). As per usual, lusii will take all attacks and the damage directed at their charge during this battle. 338/700how 2 bossfite | wiggler version: electric boogalooAny questions regarding battle mechanics should be asked in the main meta thread. LUSII UNDER AENDAL'S CONTROL: 76/100Aendal may take additional damage from a combined attack when a certain amount of lusii are freed. (staff will keep track of this number and the damage dealt due to this effect.)Lusii needed for next combined attack: 15 Aendal is mobbed by furious freed lusii, ones with children to protect and ones who's charges are now his puppets, who deal a total of 30 extra damage to him.The pillar has turned to a charred husk. Its black smoke blocks out the sun from the cave, casting ominous colored shadows on the land below. Suddenly, the drones emerge from their place on the ground. They had mostly been crushed under the weight of the pillar, but now they are back in action having had some time to rest and recuperate (or just carry on as half-squashed corpses puppeteered by plants). And oh yeah: they're now on fire. If you rolled a 1, oh s**t. Oh gog oh gog. You find yourself paralyzed as the zombies charge and experience a feeling like you've never felt before: that of being pursued and consumed by an oil-slicked flaming drone with no mental capacity but surprising dexterity and strength. One latches onto your leg and the hot boiling vines burn against you, while others are on their way to your location.. Take 4 damage. If you rolled a 2, you land a few hits on the drones before noticing that some unopened seed pods are now burning off the sealant that kept them shut all that time - you don't have time to react and take a secondary blast of the now flaming seeds. Take 3 damage. If you rolled a 3, you smash a drone in the head and have to deal with your weapon and arms catching flame. Ouch! Take 3 damage, and deal 2 extra damage this round. If you rolled a 4, in a flurry of adrenaline you rush through the drones, swinging wildly with abandon. You don't land many hits, but they stumble in trying to follow you while the fire burns away their life-force. Take 1 damage. If you rolled a 5, you've about had enough of this action. You give the drones some space and allow them to chase you until they blaze out, their plants having nothing more to puppeteer but ash. Take no damage. If you rolled a 6, the fear and adrenaline pumping through you causes a huge benefit in your drone-slaying ability. You knock limbs clear off of the drones and stomp them out, making sure that they don't rise again with violent vigor. Your weapon is coated in scalding oil and will allow you to cut through those suckers like butter! Deal 1 extra damage this turn, and 1 extra damage for each of your attacks this round. Half hour options:Fight! Teens can choose to attack Aendal once every half hour, as normal. Free! Kids can attempt to free the lusii from Aendal’s influence. Roll 2d4 as normal at the beginning of the round (first die representing the dodge roll, second representing damage). You can roll 1d4 at each half-hour interval. This roll deals no damage. When you roll two of the same number in a row you free a lusus, which attacks Aendal upon being liberated and deals the sum of those two numbers as damage. Note that the first number (representing dodge) in the 2d4 rolled in the beginning of the round does not count towards freeing a lusus. When this occurs, please post in bold the damage that you have dealt, and that you have freed a lusus.Example: Kid A rolls 2d4 at the beginning of the round and gets a 2 and a 3. At the next half-hour opportunity, they roll 1d4 and get a 3. Since they got two 3’s in a row, they deal a total of 6 damage to Aendal and free a lusus from his grasp.
