Tyrese parked and shut off his vehicle, unbuckling his seat belt and peeking through his windshield to the building. He could already smell something nice brewing from inside. Sighing inwardly, he got out from behind the wheel and walked around to get Jeni's door. Stepping back shortly after, he let her out and walked inside. She wasn't so bad, he didn't exactly see anything wrong with her temperature or her...'resting b***h face.' Although it made him chuckle. Some people were just like that. They were here now, so it didn't really matter. What mattered now was what Jeni was going to get. As the two entered, the enticing bittersweet aroma of coffee and tea invaded her senses. Ah~ She could never get tired of the smell. With wandering eyes, she scanned the menu twice over before finalizing her decision. The line wasn't so long, so it didn't take too much time until they were finally up at the front counter. The employee flashed the usual smile before asking, "What can I get for you?" While pulling out her wallet from her bag, the sorceress was quick to order. "An iced coffee with a slice of cake, please." As she slipped her credit card out from the slot in her wallet, she looked up at Tyrese with curious eyes. "Want anything? While he could insist to pay, he let her do so, they were living in modern times after all. He could let go being traditional a little bit. "Just a hot tea, please." He added. The author's uncle liked coffee considerably more than he himself, he preferred tea. He grew herbs to use for tea, actually. That's how passionate he was about it, and it aided his throat. He didn't need, or want, anything else. Sweets were overrated, and on a day like this he was actually craving meat. Which wasn't actually shocking. Waiting on his order, and hers, he found a table and sat down. "So, being a popsicle and all, do you prefer the cold?" He had an aversion to heat and preferred to be cool. After receiving the total, the sorceress swiped her card and grabbed the receipt before following behind Tyrese in search of some seats. Now the waiting game began. At least it wouldn't be boring since she had someone to talk to, right? "Well, I'm more accustomed to cold weather. But I think I'm making good progress." She said proudly. "I can stay out a little longer when it's warm! Buuut, I still get a little sun burnt every now and then." Even with an even skin tone and complexion, it wasn't necessarily the best when it came in contact with the sun. It sucked, but nothing but a little bit of sunscreen couldn't fix. After a few minutes, Jeni perked up when her name was called, signaling that their order was finished. Popping out of her seat, she scurried over to the front counter once more to pick up the drinks and her scrumptious chocolate cake. Yum!
"Here you go. One hot tea." The sorceress was cautious when handing Tyrese his well deserved tea. The cup was too hot for her own skin. Normally she would have cooled the cup down with a bit of frost, but it wasn't hers to do so. So far, it seemed like he favored hot tea over iced. "I wanted to ask you earlier, but are you a wolf hybrid of some kind? Galen wandered into the cafe, mildly lost on his first day in the city. His mother had, more or less, forced him on vacation, claiming he spent too much time at home without a job. He now had a small, one-man home, a thousand dollars to start him off ("Get a job! You can't live in the real world without a job!") and a slightly grumbling stomach. So, with very bad directions from his phone, he ended up at Moonbucks Cafe. Galen probably should go somewhere else, find something healthier, but he was hungry and craving sugar. Maybe a muffin...?
Galen frowned at the menu. Luckily, nobody was waiting behind him, so he could take his time. He didn't really understand most of the drink choices, though - what the heck was a cappucino? How was it even pronounced? "Cappusino...?" Galen mumbled to himself, wishing he had the courage to ask. Getting laughed at was too much of a risk, and he didn't want to take it. Finally, he cleared his throat, ready to order something he knew how to pronounce.((Hope you don't mind me joining in!))

"Well it's a good thing there hasn't been blistering heat around here, with it being the fall season. I bet summer must be a nuisance." He observed, peeling off the plastic cap over his beverage. The smell rose to his nostrils before he sniffed, shaking out and adding two packets of sugar and one creamer to the liquid. Creamer was more or less milk, and her rarely drank his tea without milk. The wolf used their silent pause to stop and sip from his cup, releasing a content sigh. "A hybrid? Maybe...? Both parents don't have to be wolf shifters for you to be accepted as a wolf, but I guess those considered pure bred are the ones whose parents are both shifters." He answered thoughtfully. The human gene was considered regressive compared to the latter. He hadn't really thought about it, they'd treated him the same as anyone else. They were all to happy to give him the silver pendant that marked him as a member. "Although, if they're born to a parent who isn't a human or another wolf, they aren't accepted." Like Sela, who he couldn't bring to his pack. If he wanted her to meet her uncle's, it would have to be elsewhere. His phone rang, a brief ringtone that played to two short vibrations before gushing again. The wolf fished the device from his pocket, holding it up to his face. Who calls then hangs up again- of course Lillian. Before he could put it down, it began to ring again with the same caller id. What's the problem? The author glanced at Jeni. "Sorry, excuse me." Luka Willfer " Why can't anyone see me as the young woman I am?" Soon enough Luka had made it into the cafe after running as fast as her little leg's could carry her. She tried her best to run the whole way so she wouldn't be as late as she already was but she couldn't run for very long even though she was fast. She had to stop a few times and catch her breath but even so she did the best she could to get here as fast as she could. She walked over to her one and only friend, panting slightly as she was somewhat dripping wet from the rain. She left in such a rush she didn't even think to bring a umbrella or even a coat. "I...Am so sorry Gallen for being late." She huffed out as she placed a hand on his shoulder. She felt bad for being this late, she was always there for him and was never late so this was a first. Galen started slightly when Luke arrived - he'd nearly forgotten they were meeting up himself! "It's fine, don't worry about it! I don't mind." He smiled. "Besides, I got time to look at the menu. Do you want anything?" He felt bad for Luka, noticing how out of breath she was. Did she run the whole way there? She was such a sweetheart, ever since they'd been in school together.

Luka Willfer " Why can't anyone see me as the young woman I am?" "I-I didn't keep you waiting did I?" She asked as she let out a few last pant's as she caught her breath. She would feel even worse if he waited for a long time... " I promise if that happen's again I will buy you lunch okay? Here I will buy you a muffin for being late today." She said with a smile before turning to the counter to order his muffin and herself a hot tea. She payed the cashier and held her hot tea in one hand and Galen's muffin in the other. "Let's go sit in by the window." She said before making her way over to the two seated table by the window. She sat down in her seat and placed the muffin she bought for him in his stop and placed her hot tea in front of her. Her hair was all wet and frizzy from the rain and she arm's and shoulder's of her sweater were just soaked along with her runner's she slipped on with no soak's. Luka didn't really care at the moment as she kind of forgot that she was dressed some what sloppy at the moment. You can't blame her as she was in a rush to meet up with her best friend and only one really. " So Find a job yet?" She asked and couldn't help but let out her cute little girly laugh. Sure Luka looked like a boy to a lot of people but her adorable giggle's and laugh's proved that she was not male. "You ran all the way here, didn't you? You didn't have to, especially not in the rain! You might catch a cold." Galen tried not to sound like he was lecturing his friend - he was just worried. "If you're ever running late, just shoot me a text message, okay? No more of this running in the rain. It's better to be late and dry than on time and soaking wet."

I would try to get you job at the Mushroom Kingdom but the only job opening is manager and you are not old enough for it. If you were you could have my job and I would be manager." Luka said with another one of her cute laugh's at the end of it. She took off her glasses as they had fogged up and were wet from the rain. She started to rub her glasses with what little dry spot was left of her sweater and she placed her glasses down on the table. "Don't worry about it Gal, it's no big deal. Besides I wanted to go out for a run or something today and now I did. She stated before taking a sip of her tea. She alway's loved running around or doing something active if she was not playing video games or in a hot bath. " I will just have a hot bubble bath when I get home, I will be fine! You worry to much Gal." Luka said with a smile. Her unique colored eye's seemed to shine a bit more when they were not behind her glasses and they brought out her kind warming smile more. ◊ Jɛȵı ɱı Ƞɑɱ ◊ Your Winter-Loving Lady ╔════════ ♦ ═════════════ ♦ ════════════ ♦ ═════════╗ "Summer's a major pain in the a**. On the hotter days I shut myself in my house with the A/C on full blast." Jeni rarely ever came out on those summer days that reach up to 100 degrees and more. That's like suicide for icy people like her! Every now and then, she'd peek out and get a little taste of the heat. So it's not so bad, right? The only time she'd ever go out would be if Robin just barged in and dragged her out. During their little time of silence, the sorceress took this as a cue to go for her delicious cake. She usually told the employee to surprise her with a flavor, so today she got double chocolate. Yum~ It was a milk chocolate cake with dark chocolate frosting. Jabbing her fork in, she scooped up a little piece and indulged thoroughly.To wash down the chocolatey sweetness, a good swig of her iced coffee was needed. Jeni usually put some cream and some sugar in there, but with the cake she got tonight there was no real need for it.
Anyways, while Tyrese began explaining his species, she took the time to think. So the offspring of a wolf and non-human weren't accepted. Why was that? Maybe the wolf gene was 50/50. The baby could either be wolf or not a wolf? The science of it all was too confusing, but it was interesting nonetheless. "Well, that's really unfortunate. Family is family, but I guess none of that matters if a child isn't "normal" like the rest of the members." Jeni took another bite of her cake, licking the frosting from the left corner of her lips. The sudden phone ringing from the wolf-man's pocket took the sorceress's attention. It must've been important, so she gave him a little nod as she took a sip of her coffee. Maybe now was the time to reply back to her own phone. She felt it vibrate earlier but she ignored it. Plucking it from her purse, a little text from Robin popped up. "Hmm...She usually doesn't text me if she's with Shiro. Maybe she's bored." Galen sighed. "I haven't had enough time to explore this place to think about a job. I could barely find my way here, even with directions!" He laughed a little. "I did only get here a little bit ago. I've barely moved in..." Galen chewed on his muffin. He didn't have much to move in, so he managed it all on his own, but he would need a job soon. A thousand dollars only lasted so long.
"Good. And if you feel even a little bit sick, take some medicine, okay?" Galen didn't want Luka to get sick because of him. "I'm definitely keeping my phone on me - I do not want to get lost in this place without some sort of GPS!"

Luka Willfer " Why can't anyone see me as the young woman I am?" It was true that Galen had not been here very long where as Luka has been her a little over a month but not by much. " I guess that's true but more and more people are moving onto this island it seem's so you better start at lest looking before everything is taken. If Something comes up though Galen or need help don't be scared to ask me okay? I am here for you." She said with a big smile. She was always there for the people she cared about no matter what. To her the people she cared for being happy was the most important thing. " I will, I will but I think just the hot bath and lots of tea will just be fine. My mom sent me a bunch of her english tea from home so I am all set on tea. Though some other kinds will be really nice..." Luka said before taking another sip of her tea. She giggled a little at Galen's comment about not leaving his phone as he did not want to get lost. It was true when you first move to this island you could get lost easily but soon enough you get use to it. "Well... If there is a thunder storm today by some chance... Can I call you?" She asked slightly blushing and glancing away. She felt so stupid for asking him or someone she trusted to be around if a thunder storm. She hated her fear of it and even just thinking about it made her shiver slightly. Only her parents, sisters and Galen so far knew about her fear of thunder and the water. "I-If that okay with you.
