Tatsuya's answer didn't really fulfill what Leo had wanted him to say, but as he looked up, a green light poked out from the distance as if it were popping holes in a piece of black paper, unveiling several houses and buildings. " Wait. Did you see that?" Leo asked the minute it vanished, the black sky wrapping around them. " Listen, if we stay out here, we don't have a chance. We need to make it over to that settlement. We have to move her. I know what I saw. I've never spotted that location before, but it will give us shelter. I know what I said about "whole group's consensus," but we need to move. Now." Leo didn't give him a chance to respond, he just ran over to the outfits, stashing some in a medical bag and fashioning the others into a type of hammock to carry Skye. He laid out the hammock of brown, dirty outfits and rolled Skye over, not really caring which way her body flopped, just ensuring she got onto it. He placed one end in Tatsuya's hand, then fumbled to get to his side as fast as possible. He looked up, smirked, and started to heave most of Skye's body weight so he would be forced to make a running start. " This'll be fun," Leo told him sarcastically.

Tatsuya looked at checked to make sure that the bleeding had at least slowed down some. He had failed to see the brief sight that Leo had saw. Blinking and looking up and around he asked, "See what." As he keep looking across the distance for what it he had missed the first time. Hearing the scattered work that Leo was hurrying to do he glanced over at the same moment that the hammock was laid out. Seeing her roll into the hammock gave him pause to consider how badly this could end up, but then again it was better than nothing. Grumbling at the rude start he lifted up his end high enough to keep her from hitting anything as they moved out across the waste land.

Mika willingly went along with him, letting him sorta pull her along. She was confused by the green cloud that seemed to cover more the closer they got. "Is that even normal," she asked slowly. "I'm not sure it's safe."A cry of pain escaped Skye's lips when she was so carelessly moved. She could only assume it have been Leo that had moved her so carelessly. He was a soldier after all, not exactly the smartest people soldiers. Well some weren't. Most had that macho mentality. She'd seen enough when she lived outside to know. "Tatsuya where are we going," she whimpered so softly it could be missed. "There...danger out here... Pay attention to...radiation readings..."

Ethan let go of her hand after they got close enough to the glowing light, before saying," You're right..It might not be safe. But at least we have a light source...sort of." He scratched the back of his head apologetically," Sorry Mika. For dragging you along....When you dont think its safe." He looked back at the green cloud saying," Its my favorite color oddly enough..."

Ganon heard Skye speaking, but it wasn't audible due to the strain and toll it took to run while carrying her. Leo would have asked Tatsuya what she said, but he was more focused on getting to the town. " We're almost there, Tatsuya." Leo was pushing his body to the max, especially with his untended wound. He'd been so worried about the others that he'd forgotten about himself. Leo came to a stop when they reared Ethan and Mika, gesturing for them both to latch on and help. " Come on. We ain't got time to sit." How could he have missed it? The town merely appeared out of nowhere. " If anything happens, find cover or run. We don't know what could be in there." Leo glanced at the cook with apologetic eyes. " Let's go," Leo said tugging once more at the hard fabric.

Tatsuya struggled to keep Skye up and to keep pace with Leo. The soft spoken words were half lost on him as he only caught a scratch or two from what she said. But he did hear the word Radiation, which caused him to tense up. Bloody he**.....Guess its time to see if they work and to tell the others... Thinking slowly he struggled to figure out how best to put it. When they pulled up near Mika and Ethan he cleared his throat loudly and after Leo's words said, "Um...not sure how best to say this. But, there could be a problem." He was sure to make his voice loud enough so that they all could hear him. Glancing at the others he gave a brief pause before adding, "I'm not 100% sure that the Geiger counter on the BunJaw will work...Between the five of us one should work tho."

Mika just smiled at him. "It's fine cook," she said then frowned at what Tatsuya had said. "Well that's just great. So basically we could be screwed." She was angry at that.Skye was struggling to shift onto her back. She was tired of struggling to breathe on her stomach. With every small struggle she let out a whimper of pain as it jarred her leg. She needed help and the news Tatsuya had just said was very problematic. Luckily she did know a few sighs that would tell if a place was radiated. It wouldn't work everywhere but it would work for some places.

Seeing the others a frown showed on his face, he had been avoiding them earlier. He then looked to his Bunjaw as he began to stand. Checking the Geiger Counter like Tatsuya had suggested, but he couldnt really read the thing. "I have no idea how to read this thing.." It looked a little odd to him, but that was mostly due to him being partially unable to see the color of it. It was a bright yellow on his Bunjaw, and that was one of the colors that hurt his eyes. He looked to Leo and Skye and said slowly," I dont think shes very comfortable that way. Might want to roll her over.." He put his attention back on the green cloud.

Leo had already noticed Skye in the hammock, clearly suffering, and then Ethan pitched in. Leo agreed, rolling her over carefully in what seemed to be a tranquil state where her body could relax. Tatsuya's suggestion of radiation in the town seemed trivial. Leo swiped up his medical bag and threw it down on the ground, exposing the outfits. " Put 'em on and we should be good. I only scavenged the good ones, so you shouldn't have any problems with the gas masks. These will ensure our safety. Mika, I'm gonna need you to dress Skye." Leo started picking them up and handing them out. Leo put his on quickly. His brown hood bobbed as he went to the ground and pulled it over. The circular plates of glass were the only thing that allowed him to see the wasteland, even though it was dusty and dark. A black tube-like muzzle lead out from his nose like a snout. A brown great coat rested on his shoulders, a grey buttoned vest, black gloves, pants, and black boots being the final touches. Out of curiosity, Leo examined the outfit, digging in the pockets and searching for things. He stopped as his hand ran over a smooth, heavy object on his back. He unbuckled a strap and pulled out the inexplicable object, pulling it up fast. It was a short sword, but he quickly realized it wasn't like any other. Reason being, there wasn't a blade. He fiddled with the item for awhile, trying to tap it on all of its sides. Leo backed up when a blade finally sprung out from him touching a mechanism on the sword. Apparently, it served as a fold and unfold mechanism. He tried it again, flipping the mechanism. This time, the blade folded back up. He tried it once more and watched as it unfolded, the slightest ring tingling his fingers. A brown, polished handle glided up to a steel frame and a sharp, slightly oblique point. He ran his fingers over it lightly, admiring its beauty. His other swords didn't compare. He sheathed the new blade back in its rightful place and disposed of his others; he no longer needed them and they were dull.

Tatsuya watched as the others took the news of the unknown Geiger counter various ways. Mika just looked to get mad about it, Ethan was trying his out reader first then with Leo's help rolled Skye into a more comfortable position. Shifting his eyes to his own screen he tried his, but the coloring of the meter made it hard to read in the green light. Grumbling to himself he frowned and switched off the screen. At that time, Leo was going through the outfits he had. Moving over to the bag he crouched down and looked at one closely. Reaching into his pack with tools he brought out a small magnify glass and looked at one closely. They looked safe and had provisions to safe guard against radiation. Tucking away his magnify glass he nodded and selected the best one from the bag. Holding it out towards Mika he said, "For Skye. Its the best condition. You'll get the next best one, then Ethan, and I'll take the worse one left. " Sure it wasn't exactly fair, but he thought it was the best way to deal with it. Since he was getting the worse one, they couldn't say that he was unfair to the others.

Mika frowned. "Uh can I pass," she asked. "I can't even look at her for all the blood alright? I don't like it." She took the suit he offered for her but not the one for Skye.Skye blinked at the green tint, praying it wasn't really there. When it didn't go away she sat up despite it making her feel very faint. "We shouldn't go anywhere near this town," she said firmly. "Green clouds like this only ever form when there is alot of radiation present. Deadly amounts to be exact. Also the creatures within the town will be much stronger. You thought those Rippers back at the market were tough? They will be invincible in this level of radiation. So will feral Ghouls. Radiation heals them. We should not go into this town. We should head in the opposite direction." All she could do was hope they listened to her. No matter what though she was not going into the town. Risking her life out in the Wastes was bad enough. She did not want to die from radiation poisoning.

The brown haired cook remained quiet now, not saying anything. He looked at the gauntlets strapped to his arms and slowly sighed, if he were to put on the Radiation suit he wouldnt be able to use his main weapons now. He wasnt sure how it was going to work with the group, but all he could say was," If we do end up going in, Ill take the one in the worst condition. It'd be better that way since Tatsuya has more knowledge than I do. That and... "He looked to the green cloud saying," I kinda wanna go in but dont.." He thought about Skyes warning, and bit his lip, feral ghouls like the one he killed back in the store before meeting Rufus. Would they meet any Sane ones while they are here? He rubbed his chin, trying not to think about things stronger than the rippers.

Kalika Kingslayer Mika frowned. "Uh can I pass," she asked. "I can't even look at her for all the blood alright? I don't like it." No matter what though she was not going into the town. Risking her life out in the Wastes was bad enough. She did not want to die from radiation poisoning. Leo could only understand. " Uh, yeah. That's fine. I'll do it," Leo said unwillingly. Skye never liked him from the beginning, so it wouldn't be too good for the both of them if she woke up. A commentary definitely didn't suit them. Tatsuya would be his next choice for this kind of thing. The guy always seemed as if he had a purpose, a lot of them being to help out with things Leo didn't want to do. Leo liked it that way. He picked up an outfit, the one with the severed pant leg, and started over to Skye. Leo was already in front of her on the ground when she sat up and started rambling. Leo grumbled a little bit to himself. " Tatsuya, can you come over here?"

Tatsuya looked up at Mika raising an eyebrow at how she was acting. But he refrained from saying anything. Skye's warning of the town and the high doses of radiation fitted the eerily green glow, so he could easily believe that. Which is why the suits were needed. As for the monsters and mutants that lurked inside, that gave him cause to turn the other way. Granted he would push through if need be, but he'd hate it. Then Ethan spoke up offering to take the worst suit, which his reasoning was sound. Nodding slowly he said, "If that's the way you want to distribute the suits." When Leo asked for his help he sighed softly and looked over at them. He knew that it would've been better for Mika to dress Skye rather than one of the guys. Shifting around some he moved over and looked at the suit that Leo had for Skye. Shaking his head he said, "The leg is severed. That'll invite more problems for her missing leg. Plus we have to consider the fact that the wound probably hasn't closed yet." Cold tired eyes had been watching them through the green haze. The man had been trying to peer into what was left of the town for any signs of the rest of his squad. A number of them had gone in, but none had returned. There wasn't enough manpower or firepower to go in after them either. With a heavy sigh he continued onward with his path that was nothing more than the outer edge of the town. After a turn and walking out past a large rock he spied a group of people talking and putting on suits. Knowing the dangers and feeble they'd be against it he ran towards them calling out to them, "Wait! Don't go into the town!" The man's gun was holstered and his uniform despite being dirty and worn in was still identifiable. (The man is a soldier. I don't have a good name for the group, so if y'all can think of a good one go for it. But it's basically the same group as the NCR. I'd just rather not use the NCR for the name.)

Mika tensed and glared at the man. She was distrusting of him though he was saying the same thing as Skye. "Now why should we listen to you," she asked coldly. "I'll admit our leader here isn't bright but still." When she said leader she nodded at Leo.Skye examined the man slowly. "Tatsuya is right," she said quietly. "I'm still bleeding. I don't know how long I'll be awake." She thought the soldier looked familiar and seeing as her father had been a member of some military it was possible she'd known him as a child. However she shrugged it off. Back before the attack she'd known alot of people. All of that was before the Bunker though. "I already warned them of the danger the town contains," she said to the man. "Radiation and alot of it. These suits won't provide protection long enough for us to explore the town and I bet you there are Feral Ghouls and Rippers lying in wait. Probably a few Necromites hiding in the buildings too. Much too dangerous a place to go in unprepared like we are."
