Okay, I read through it and everything looks great, but since that this involves airships the title (Blood On The Seas) doesn't seem to match; the French translation for Blood In The Sky/Skies may be more appropriate. Just my observation. I'd like to send my reservation, but I'd like to know more information on whom I'd be swearing my allegiance to. Roy mentioned quite a few airships in the setting. sweatdrop I decided to go with "nonpiratey". 3nodding Btw, Roy... is there a limit to the number profiles we submit?

Middle Earth Barbie Thornwick o.o Oooo. Hmmm, it depends on what you intend to be: human, elf, hobbit, dwarf... Hobbit for sure. I would think, definitely a pipe.... Definitely something with a skirt. Noel's Gift and Picolitrosso's Urn have some cute ones that you can build around. If you're thinking of a more boyish look, the Deer John pants or Bourgaille pants would be good. 3nodding Hope this helps.

Oh man I keep going and being busy and missing stuff! I don't know who to quote in this. I'm really new to RP. Halp. eek
Could my character be a stowaway turned rigging monkey sort? Do these airships have sails?
As for theme songs, might I suggest almost anything by Abney Park? Perhaps "Airship Pirate" ?

Since we already picked Sang sur la Mer and since I suggested it, may I suggest a revision to "Sang sur les Nuages"? It means "Blood on the Clouds." Or Sang dans le Ciel (Blood in the Sky) (With apologies for acting like an obnoxious child cat_sweatdrop ; it's just that my suggestions rarely get picked and I'm excited cat_blaugh )

Hi new people! (A bit late, but whatever!)
Also, I really wanna play a mechanic for some reason. Perhaps a mechanic that had been a pirate and has been captured as a prisoner aboard a C.S.S ship to help find the map, but is now useless since they know where it is? Ya know, maybe I should just go ahead and make the profile and post it here for help.

I think character max should maybe be 3 , but you can't have more
than you can keep active , you know ?

o.o Ah, okay, okay. ^^ Great we still get to keep it. Poor Trance. *bandages fingers* I'll have to give a second profile some thought, though (I'm already on character overload since I'm DM'ing a role-play of my own, in another guild); I was just asking out of curiosity.

All of these character ideas are wonderful ones. Also I like to imagine that the airships do in fact have sails, although they're not used all the time, just when there's a particularly strong breeze blowing through. So, you don't necessarily have to be on any of those ships that I listed in my framework, I don't want everyone to be spread out across a bunch of ships, because that separates everyone and I'm not exactly sure how everyone would keep in touch but I want everyone to be able to get max-creative and I'm very interested to see where your ideas for ship-abilities will go. Just sort of bear the limitations of interaction in mind as you come up with your profiles. That said, I am going to continue to suggest that if you have any feedback or ideas that you'd like to see implemented, please either post them here or send them directly to me so that I can start working on it. I'd like to get this up and running very soon (hopefully we can start on the weekend), but I want everyone to have a say in it before we officially commence.

Seems like I haven't been quoted lately because of my name change! Did a brief catching up. I'd like to be able to submit a profile quickly, but sadly I'll be quite busy this weekend.
Oh, and a quick question... have we gotten the general post length sorted yet? (: I'm nowhere as literate as some of you, haha. My timezone is GMT +12 which doesn't match up with a lot of people, some problems I've experienced in past rp's.
