The contest category was a bit tougher- while I could see Luca wearing "cool" clothes that are practical, I then remembered this was the girl whose bedroom was full of plushies and who has expressed interest in pretty clothes before (in an in-progress RP). So, Cute it had to be.

Contest Category: Cute Why did you pick this combination of Pokemon and Contest Category for your character?: Lopunny because its ears look like pigtails dipped in cappuccino foam? Its colours and tendency to hide from danger suit her well. Cute because even though Gigi is 18, she can't let go of the girly look, and it also suits her hasty and naive nature. I was originally looking for a smart electric type to go with her coffee sphere, but right now she's definitely still a normal type - weak to fighting, with no resistance. ^_^

She's only slightly obsessed with them. Salamence is a dragon/flying type, which covers her love of dragons as well as the 'air' element she and her power side align with. Alex could care less about being cool or beautiful or cute, and while she's smart she more of the "let me hit you with my mace and ask questions later". BESIDES Salamence is a BA and I love them so.

Plus, cold puns. That aside, Giratina is the pokemon of antimater- (or alternate reality going by the anemays) Castor is becoming the negative side of the senshi in the way of being bloodthirsty and violent. As a royal, a legendary fits and what better than the one that was banished.
