It was difficult to get a good hold of the tiny orbs floating in the air. As soon as she thought she ha done, it would slip out of her grasp and float away. She would keep trying though.

After walking for a while Dezolam came to the End of the World. Most beings here had the same core color as hers.
Spotting fragments around her she tried to grab one. it was quite easy but when she touched it something appeared in her mind. Just one word actually : Sword

"What's a cookie," he whispered, taking it with a sort of reverence and awe and examining it closely. "What do you do with it."
Either way, he gave the grey one who had given it a clap on the back, smiling broadly. "Thank you," he said brightly, eyes raking over the cookie and its little form, with its little grey and blue decorations -
- he turned his head to look back at the one he had knocked into.
"No rush," he said brightly. "But look at this."
And he held the cookie in the palms of both hands, staring down at it with unabashed fascination that such a little thing could be so very intriguing.

The cookie aside, he still did have more fragments to find. He glanced around curiously, staring at a small bit of glowy-ness some feet away and inched towards it carefully, as though moving too fast might somehow scare it away.

It somehow worked. He grasped a fragment in his hand and examined it closely, feeling the warmth seeping into him - and he could hear voices, see something flashing across his field of vision.

Finding the experience surprising Dezolam decided to try to catch another fragment to see if she would have the same result. But the little thing escaped her.
This was simultaneously exciting and confusing all at once. He tried to find another fragment; perhaps that would alleviate some of the confusion, though somehow he sort of doubted it. Still, it wouldn't hurt...

Not loosing her calm the ghoul tried again to catch the evasive fragment. She waited for it to come near and grabbed it. When she touched it she heard something else : "fetch me next time you want cinnamon rolls"
