"SO much." Rory agreed with Ronan as they were all herded into the creepateria. Living unlife on the other side of the mirror, Rory was not used to being the center of attention. At all. And the intensity of attention from certain parties was beginning to become disconcerting....
The other overwhelming thing was just how MANY students there were. It seemed like if you didn't have eyes on the back of your head, you were liable to be mowed over by an errant mummy or swept away by a sudden zombie flash mob. Rory stared out over at the abyss of the creepateria.
"Watching all of this from a distance is one thing...being in the middle of it is another thing altogether!"

Sally watched as every eager student headed to the creepateria for lunch. She followed the crowd, feeling her hunger as well. One thing that everyone has in common, I suppose. She thought. Good thing she had a lunch packed, last thing her father gave her before she left.
She looked around and found an empty table in the corner to sit at.

Ronan nodded. "At least you had some idea of what to expect." He dodged a small group of giggling werewolves with heavily laden trays. "Some days I wonder if it is the school that's mad, or me." He shrugged, shaking his head at Roswell who was still complaining about his hunger.
"even so, I would not trade it for all the salt in the ocean." He held out his tray for the lunch malady, who spooned some sort of green, tentacled slop into a bowl.

Jewels scoured the crowd for her troll friend, but evidently her best ghoulfriend was preoccupied by the tall Gargoyle boo Jewels had set her up with. Curse her fangtastic matchmaking skills, she didn't want to feel like a third wheel... again.
She caught sight of a lonely looking ghoul she didn't recognise. Well, she mused to herself, she had made a resolution to be a little boulder about approaching people and the ghoul did look pretty glum.
Putting on her best "Super friendly, not nervous at all honest" smile she headed on over to Sally.
She took a deep breath, her voice wavering a little as the ghoul looked up.
"uh... " She launched into the speech she'd compiled in her head on the way across the room. "You look like you could do with company..." She shuffled her tray and held out one hand. "I'm Jewels." Keep smiling ghoul, don't let on that you're currently fighting the urge to run and hide under something till all the crowds disperse.

That's the one down side about being a shadow monster. You just aren't really noticed unless someone already knows that you're there.
That would explain why Sally just sat on Shad's lap."YEEP!!!"And why Shad was now currently hanging off of the light fixture over their heads.

"RORY!"Glen jumped up to his feet at first sight of Rory entering the creepateria and started waving his hands from his usual perch by Hellene, Draconia, Manny and Chase!"OVER HERE!"

"Erm...." Rory looked at Glen, jumping up and down and waving at him, and Dashner, with the empty seat next to him that seemed reserved for Rory. This was getting a little ridiculous.
The Lurch Lady spooned something still wriggling onto his lunch tray as Rory tried to weigh his options and figure out exactly where he should sit. Why was this so complicated?!

Ronan frowned a little at all the attention. "You've been here less than six hours and it would appear you are already the most popular boo in school." He remarked, looking Rory up and down.

Hellene shielded herself from Glen's shouting with her newspaper. It was so good to be around her friends again, all her friends, unbrainwashed and eating things that weren't turnips.
Chase bro-punched Manny's arm as the two shared a joke. Manny snorted and gave him another punch back and the two began. Somehow they ended up in a mutual headlock.
"No way, ScreaM Punk is the beast!"
"It's the Grimdertaker!"
She sighed. Glen was now on top of the table and waving frantically, what was he yelling about?

Dashner sighed with agreement. "So it seems."
He was sad that he'd rarely get to see Rory all day, but he also understood how important family is. "If you want to sit with Glen, go ahead."

Sally saw Jewels walk over and introduce herself. She could tell this wasn't something she normally did. So, she went along with it. With a nod, she shook the ghouls hand. As she started to sit.
"Hello. Im-"
As she went to sit she heard Shad yelp from underneath her. She jumped up and stepped back. "Oh my! My apologies." she said, looking up at him on the light fixture.

Chase and Manny bang forward onto the lurch table and then hear a tapping sound. They glance up jointly to spot the lurch lady staring them down, tapping her soup ladle into one of her tentacles.
Quickly and meekly, they release their dual headlocks and look sheepishly down at their plates as the lurch lady goes back to work.
Chase then looks at Glen and then leans over to look at Rory, and rolled his eyes at Dashner.
"Cha! It ain't as if he doesn't see the shiny cuz in every class! Here..." Chase nudges Glen. "I'll get his attention for ya."
Chase then turned around from the table, inserted his pinkies between his lips and let out the single most ear splitting whistle imaginable to monster kind!
