Espen smiled and licked her neck. "Since I'm not a vampire we'll have to go find real food." He joked as he grabbed Jamie's hand. He then got up pulling her with him. "So how about you and I get some dinner. know any good places?" He asked her as he pulled her towards the door.

She followed him, holding his hand. "Well, there is the diner where I work, I guess..."

"That's just awkward." He responded turning to her. "Eating where you work is just odd. We don't have to walk we can get in the car and ride. If that's the only place for made food then what about a grocery store?"

She stood still for a moment, looking down at her feet, biting her lip in thought. Jamie looked up at Espen. "You're right. I mean, we also have like a McDonalds, I think a Burger King. We have a small ice cream place, the Dairy King. But for any other resturants, we'd have to make the trip to the nearest town. They had a strip mall with a Chinese buffet place."

"We can get Chinese tomorrow." The man answered. He was hungry now. "Lets head to McDonalds and then for dessert will go to Dairy King." He told her as he grabbed his keys and took her out to the car. With a little instruction it didn't take too long to make it to the restaurant. "What do you want?" He asked her with a smile.

Jamie smiled softly as she gave instructions to the local McDonalds. She smiled. "A McChicken with a small fries."

Espen ordered another McChicken for himself, a soda, and instead of getting two small fries he ordered a large one for them to share. He parked his car a bit away from the restaurant so they could eat. It was their first picnic in the front seat of his car. "One more year then I'm done with my masters." He told he told her with a grin. Once he was done with that he was free of going back to school.

Jamie began eating, listening as Espen spoke. She grinned at his words. "That's great!"

Espen smiled and nodded. "Then I can find a job and visit more often. I'm hoping for somewhere between my parents and you." He confessed. That way he could not be far from what he cared for.

She smiled softly, laying her head on his shoulder. Jamie grinned; she loved the thought of being able to be with him more often.

Espen bit into his food. "I love you." He said once he was done chewing. If he could he would kidnap her and take home to be his bride, but that was not how the world worked. These kind things took time.

Espen was glad that she loved him in return. Once Espen was done with his meal the man turned to his lover. "Want to get some ice cream?" He asked her as he stuffed the garbage into a bag.

Espen shifted his car in gear as he drove his car to the next spot. He ordered a cup of brownie fudge ice cream and then let his girlfriend order.
