Once again Azmodel found herself in front of the funhouse. Since she had nothing better to do, and still a little peeved at her fail the last time she was here she decided to go in again.
"Here goes nothing" she thought when she entered the hideously glittered first room.
Az jumped slightly when she realized that one of the carnie gnomes was real. This distracted her for a while

Coming back from her surprise the ghoul concentrated again on crossing the room.
Her efforts paid and she reached the other side without problem.

Ahhhh.... the Mirror hallway... The "Can you escape yourself?" question got a snort in reaction this time.
So, it was this way if she remembered well.
So concentrated was she on finding her memories of the path she didn't see one of her reflections get closer and closer... Until she painfully collided with it. A crack appeared on it and a gnome seemed to appear from thin air - or the ground she walked on- to shoo her out while he got the mirror taken away to be replaced.

Sin reached out and luckily for her Rosc was through and she was able to grab him hand and hop over into the next area. She tugged her plush arpkassu with her and thanked Jack she hadn't twisted her ankle in that hulabaloo.
"Well that was a challenge."

"Yeah, it was. Come on, we can get through this," Rosc replied and led her into the next room. At first, it looked like a bunch of walls. But then his vision started to skew slightly.
"Mirrors, aren't they?" Jack damnit, he hated mirrors. He couldn't help but give Sin's hand a little squeeze.
The mirrors were distracting, messing with his vision like that.

Normally Sin wouldn't have minded a hall of mirrors, after all she loved looking at herself, but this was a bit disorienting and she knew how Rosc felt about reflective surfaces.
"Yeah lots of mirrors...be careful." She held his hand lightly and looked around.
She took a few steps and blinked...had she just stepped forward and ended up back where she started? Okay.

"I hate this st- Sin?" One moment, Sin was there, holding his hand, and then next minute they'd gotten separated. He frowned, tried to find her, but his eyes were just as bad as if he was completely blind.
He tried to make his way around, tried to find her, but in his efforts he ran into one of the mirrors. It shattered with a resounding crash. He quickly stepped back to get away from any shards.
A gnome suddenly popped up and grumbled at him, told him to get out. But he wasn't about to leave Sin to worry.
"I'll be out front, Sin!" he called out, pretty sure she'd hear him. "I'll see you when you finish this thing."

Sin blinked and suddenly Rosc was gone, she stepped forward and narrowly missed whacking into a mirror.
"Rosc?! ROSC!" She rushed blindly dizzy and her arpkassu plush being dragged carelessly behind her. Oh Jack how had she lost him?!
She heard a sudden crashing sound and then Rosc's voice faintly, did he say he'd made it out? She ended up stepping out of the hallway completely confused.
"Rosc?" She looked around hoping he had made it to the next area, hopefully he was waiting in front.

Maybe Rosc was lucky to have been halted at the mirrors because Sin stood on the edge of a huge bright pit full of colorful plastic balls. The music...ugh more like noise that was playing loudly made it hard to focus. From what she could see though she just had to swim across the pit of balls and climb out. She frowned and slowly slid in with her huge plush in tow. Then the whole thing came to life and the balls started to swirl, oh Jack!
She 'swam' as best as she could manage in her tight skirt and holding her plush through the balls. She looked up at a gnome appeared and then gasped and sneezed as a handful of glitter was thrown on her.
"What is with you gnomes?!" She coughed and tried to move on hacking up glitter.

Sin struggled towards the elusive rope but she didn't really seem to be making any headway through the bright colored balls...or if she was she couldn't tell amidst the swirling colors.

She swam on determined, but it felt like she was just paddling in place with plastic balls flying all around her. Her arms and legs moved but whatever forward momentum she had was only barely enough to keep up with the machine that pulled her back towards the ball vortex.

Finally she couldn't struggle any further, it was fruitless. Even when she'd been giving Calder anti drowning lessons she hadn't felt like this! She was sucked in and dropped rather unceremoniously outside.
"Ugh!" She cringed as a plastic ball dropped on her and then stood up and brushed off fixing her outfit and storming off to find Rosc.

Really, coming to a place he hated. It would be a lovely distraction from the thought that he might have horribly offended his date somehow. And as usual, it was. Because as soon as he started across the panels toward the next area he froze at the sight of a gnome pointing at him and laughing.
Seriously, gnome punting was going to end up a sport if they kept up those habits.

Just as she started to storm off, a hand latched onto Sin's.
"I hope that attitude isn't for me," he said, one eyebrow raised over his glasses. Rosc stepped closer and pressed a hand to her cheek.
"Sorry about that, I broke one of the mirrors and a gnome kicked me out. Not worried, were you?" Of course he thought she'd been worried, at least for a few moments. It was why he'd called out to her in the first place. He hoped he hadn't made her mad, it wasn't like any of it was his fault after all. She was probably just frustrated at the funhouse.

And then, after huffing at the gnome rather sourly, the demon quickly made his way the rest of the way along the panels. Ah yes, glorious solid ground again. And mirrors ahead.
Perhaps a gnome or two to drop kick. That might be good. Either way, onward to the next area... because well... he hadn't gotten a text back.
