Fredrich Waltz Darkness surrounded Balthazar like an evil aura. He was hoping for Eun-Ho to reassure him by saying that he cared about him much more than he did with the detective, but all he got was more talk about that cursed detective and that precious job. "Why do you need this job?" he asked in a (only slightly) unsteady voice, his tone trembling with restrained anger and jealousy. "You have a well-paying job already, and I can buy you anything you want! Twice!" King Balthazar

Eun-Ho Joong " Sang-Min asked me to take it," he answered with ease, too distracted by his attempt to work hard to hear the quiet anger, or to feel the jealous heat emanating from the king beside him. " We aren't the best of friends, yeah, but we're band mates, and when he asks me to something, I'll do it. It's the same with Bae, Ellery and Haneul." Green eyes looked up at the king, a smile clear in them. " Besides, I get to spend all day with you. Yeah, I've got to file a bunch of crap, but you get to sit next to me and talk to me. I couldn't ask for anything better!" Eun-Ho beamed up at the Frog King before returning to work, sticking out his tongue at one point in concentration.

Mayah Playah Shall we time skip and go to their home? Fredrich Waltz More and more veins pulsed as Eun-Ho casually talked about not only the detective, but someone named Sang-Min! Who was this Sang-Min, and why was this the first he had heard of him? If it was someone Eun-Ho was willing to do anything for than he would certainly like some information on him! Especially if he has some connect to Haneul.
Fredrich walked in to pass through and enter his own office, a bag of most likely bagels in one hand and a drink in the other. He was stoic as ever, not even acknowledging the duo. Then again, with the bad start of a day he had already it was no wonder why he was ignoring everyone.
Balthazar, however, noticed the detective. He was already turning, a frog in his hand ready to be launched at the embodiment of its king's envy, when Eun-Ho's conversation went to him. The king froze, and the detective left. He wanted to keep the job... to stay with him? The dark storm vanished instantly and Balthazar's expression softened, even became guilty. He had been jealous of himself? How foolish he felt!
He turned around and smiled lightly at the star. "I'm glad. Just having you around is the best thing that could happen to me, as well." he replied. No matter how calm he looked or how small his smile was, there was no way to express how deeply happy he was at the moment, or whenever he was around the Korean. King Balthazar

Eun-Ho JoongThe Korean barely noticed the detective, his attention mostly on his work. The stupid files and their stupid system. How was any of this supposed to make sense? Why couldn't someone else do all of this, huh? Someone being paid WELL to work here! With a sigh, he set aside a few files and returned his eyes to his companion. " Can you explain it all to me again? I'm so completely lost," he asked sheepishly, blood rushing to his face.

Mayah Playah I'll post 'em at the apartment tomorrow. Fredrich Waltz Balthazar smiled to himself as he watched Eun-Ho work. He was so cute when he tried so hard. "Here, allow me to help." he said and moved his chair right besides the smaller male. Like a tutor explaining math homework to his student, the king went over each step on what to do. He didn't become impatient or irritated whenever Eun-Ho asked for a repeat or became confused. How could he? He was sitting right next to the person he loved, and that person was depending on him for help. It was nothing more than pure bliss. King Balthazar

Eun-Ho JoongThe blonde pop star worked diligently, listening to Balthazar's instructions carefully and working hard to follow correctly. Whenever he messed up or couldn't figure what he meant, he would blush, but the king was so sweet about it that the singer could feel himself developing even more feelings for the kind man. So this is love? he thought while trying something out on his own. As soon as he got it right, the young blonde rejoiced with a kiss on the Frog King's cheek, rushing back into work with a smile on his face.

I can't believe we're here because you couldn't let go of the candy!" the white-haired man groaned as he sat on a bench inside the jail cell meant to hold people overnight. It was spacious and only had him and the girl in it, and according to the police they would have to be held overnight, even if the man paid bail or not. " You just couldn't let it go! I had it first but nooOOOOoooo! You just had to steal it - Hey, that's right!" He got up and moved to the bars. " Officer, arrest that girl again! She stole that candy from me!" he yelled while pointing backwards at her. All he received was a glazed look in the eye from the officer monitoring them. "Only you can control that."

Fully recovered from being tased, Dana rolled her eyes before closing them, leaning her head back on the wall and breathing deeply from her nose. "Your voice is so annoying and screechy," she grumbled, scrunching her nose up. It wasn't her first time in the slammer, although it was the first time she'd ever been in an American one. Her first time had been six days for drinking beer in public when she was thirteen. It had been a visit to Germany, and she'd forgotten that there were drinking laws in that country for minors. It was a dumb mistake, but she knew why she'd done wrong. This was just stupid.
"I was going to share the bear with my brother," she said, flicking a balled-up wrapper in the man's direction. "Not that it's any of your business. Now stop yelling, you're giving me a headache. It's bad enough that I have to skip dinner tonight because you couldn't be a gentleman and give me the verdammt tragen." She raised a hand to her forehead, eyes open and staring at the ceiling. This wasn't how she wanted to surprise her big brother. "... And it's not you."

" That was for your brother?" he murmured. Great, didn't he feel like a good person now. A king that stole candy from a girl and her brother and got thrown in jail. Two for two, Roy. He looked around for a moment then dropped his hands from the bars and moved to sit down beside her. " If you had told me that earlier then I would've definitely given it to you. Now you've made me feel like a jerk." he grumbled while leaning forward, resting his forearms on his knees. There was silence for a moment until he decided to speak up again. " So are you from Germany?" he asked out of the blue. Might as well start somewhere. "Only you can control that."

☸ Dana Klein ☸ "There's only one person who really matters to me..." She glanced over at the clock. Today was supposed to be a surprise for Alan. She wasn't due for another month, but managed to get extra time off of school for him. Nowadays, Dana didn't spend a lot of time with her precious big brother, usually only getting to call him once of twice a week, three times if it was especially slow in his world. Four months of time with him was like a dream come true for the pretty blonde, as if life itself was finally aligning in her favor.
Of course, now she was in jail, so it seemed like a fluke, but whatever.
Dana's gaze lowered as she felt his presence beside her, letting her foot down and holding on the the edge of the seat on either side of her legs, Converse-covered feet on the ground. She nodded, then looked back to the wall. "Yes. Well, I was born in Germany and lived there for a few years until my parents decided to move to Denmark. I've lived there for most of my life, but I consider myself German and speak Deutsch more often than not." Her gaze returned to him, green inquisitive eyes trying to determine his country of origin. "What about you? Are you American?" "... And it's not you."

Although you can't really tell with my features, can you?" he laughed while pinching a lock of white hair between his fingers. " I was raised in America but I have Italian blood. I think I was born there, too, but my memories as a child are pretty fuzzy." He let go of his hair and dug his hands into his coat pockets, looking over at the girl again. " What brought you to the US? Was it your brother?" "Only you can control that."

She shrugged, bringing her feet up onto the bench and wrapping her arms around her legs, her shorts a relief outside in the intense heat, but a bit of a nuisance inside the cold jail cell. "My brother... We weren't raised together. He was born and grew up in South Africa with his father. When I started uni, I thought we'd spend more time together, but he took a job here, even further away from me. I managed to finish my exams early enough to take an extra month of summer vacation, and came here to surprise him, but, as you can see, things haven't exactly gone according to plan."
Dana looked at the ground, breathing in and out slowly for a minute before speaking again. "This isn't how I wanted my first day in America to go," she mumbled quietly. She wasn't going to cry, God no. She never cried if she didn't have to. But she wanted to. Right now, Dana really wanted to cry about her situation. Instead, she cleared her throat and lowered her feet to the ground, crossing her arms and leaning back, eyes back on the white-haired man. "You know, I don't know your name," she said before holding out her hand. "I'm Dana, Dana Klein." "... And it's not you."

King of Sirens"Music's like life, it can be filled with mistakes or with the most beautiful moments."Oh good. The guilt trip just got heavier and heavier the longer the girl spoke. It was like putting an anvil over the man's shoulders, then another one, and another. Once he thought he was about to fall off the face of the earth, she changed the subject by talking about her name. He looked at her, then the hand stretched out, then back at her, offering her a small smile. " That's kind of a hard question." he chuckled but took her hand anyway. " Long story short, call me Roy Lane." After shaking her hand, he let his drop back to his knee, but he kept watching her. She had to be shivering with those shorts on. Pursing his lips, Roy removed his long coat and put it over her shoulders. Beneath his coat was a vest and a white button-up beneath it, and instead of a tie he had a cravat that frilled in its freedom. He looked like he had to have some money to toss around. "Only you can control that."

☸ Dana Klein ☸ "There's only one person who really matters to me..." She offered a smile to the man, although was clearly confused by his earlier comment. Long story? What did that even mean? "It's nice to meet you, Roy." Her hand fell to her lap, then reached to touch the coat suddenly on her shoulders. She touched the fabric, brow furrowed, but not about to ask for him to take it back. Growing up, Dana had always been told that if a man offered you his coat, to take it. Besides, he didn't look like he was going to be cold anytime soon. The German girl looked over the man, taking in his effects. He was kind of handsome, but not enough to really tempt her, and he was dressed very well for his age. Probably a yuppie or something like that. It would definitely explain the cravat.
She tugged the coat closed around her, not buttoning it in case he wanted it back. She herself wore a thin hoodie, a tank top, pink shorts, and tennis shoes, as she hadn't expected to be in the cold. She didn't really look like a competitive eater that was the daughter of two German models/actors. He probably only looked rich.
After a few minutes of silence, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a deck of cards. "Wanna play Go Fish?" she asked, having never been a fan of poker, but a decent Go Fish player. "... And it's not you."

Might as well catch some sleep while he was here, it'd at least make time go faster. He was in the process of imagining random things to help him fall asleep when he heard shuffling noises beside him followed by a question he didn't think he'd hear anytime soon. Opening his eyes, he looked over to see the girl with a deck of cards and an expectant look on her face. " What, really?" he blinked, leaning his head back forward. " That seems a little childish, but why not? Nothing better to do." he shrugged and moved to face her from where he was sitting. "Only you can control that."
