S'dekai and Pioth - KOed

Had it been only Pioth and Erinaeth against Tatath, then likely the bronze would have made it to safety. However, Banshidheth's arrival took him by surprise, and as she snatched his legs out from under him Pioth hit the ground hard and did not rise again.
His rider, now pinned in the riding straps, struggled to free himself - but even if S'dekai could extricate his leg from beneath the bronze's bulk, he wasn't going to abandon Pioth. Nor would he get anywhere on foot.
...At least he'd gotten the map to safety.

Tatath Taking No Action
Tatath was sure the final blow to Pioth would be hers. But she was slowing, weakening. And when her gold appeared, while she would never say it outloud, she was grateful for the help. Moving back to make herself a harder target, Tatath gave a bob of her head to Banshidheth.

Canoake Taking No Action
Finally! When the chance to break away happened, Canoake raced to her dragon. Laying a hand on her hand, it was covered in inchor but there seemed to be no major damage done. "You have done well, Tatath. They will tell of the green who took on a bronze and won!"
Turning to S'dekai, she placed her hands on her hips. She would not strike him, yet. But neither would she see him escape. "Please, just come with us. Don't make tbhis any harder than it has to be on either of us."

Firith attacking Suunath

Firith refused to relent so long as her opponent still moved, and tore at Suunath one last time. One gold had already fallen, and this fool would follow. As she attacked, she screamed, fearsome and victorious.
But it could not last. Firith soon spoke to all the wherholders,Their reinforcements arrive! We have done what damage we can. It is time to go.

S'dekai
No dice. When Pioth fell, he'd trapped S'dekai in the riding straps, the rider's leg pinned beneath the great heavy curve of his neck. A sharp stab of pain ran all the way up his side as he tried to extricate himself, and after a moment S'dekai lay still, hands outspread to show that he had no weapon.
"I surrender," he said softly, expression bleak with resignation. Even if he could rise and fight... he had no weapon, and no means to take the unconscious Pioth to safety. There was nothing he could do.

Acriculeth, fleeing. Acriculeth asked of all his allies, addressing the humans directly as well as their bondmates to make sure that the partner of a dragon or wher who might be injured or distracted didn't miss his message. A'nos wasted no time in getting up onto his dragon's back, and helping Harmony and Fick up after him. "Are you sure you can manage both whers?" he asked aloud. Acriculeth replied. The bronze would be heavy but he only needed to carry him for long enough to get between.

Tatath and Canoake Attempting to Flee with S'dekai
Keeping her knife out, Canoake moved towards the fallen bronze rider with a mixture of regret and triumph in her eyes. Pioth was down, she was sure he wouldn't try anything drastic. Or at least, she hoped.
"Come on, let's go. Climb up on Tatath and no funny tricks, S'dekai. Let's see what Keller will do with you now." She pulled him up and waited for him to climb up on Tatath. Climbing up and setting herself behind the fallen man, Canoake looked back to Pioth.
Tatath bobbed her head again towards Banshideth. Thank you. This day is ours. A good day though we lost the rogues. I am ready to go, Firith. She would be sore and going Between would test all her strength but it had to be done. Firith, what do we do with the traitor?
She tried to take off but her wings were sore and she was tired.

Letting out a mighty roar Berath flung herself at the enemy green, her eyes blazing red. She did not know the bronze rider, but she knew he had protected Natai from his own allies and that was enough to earn her protection in turn.

She had tried to take off again but Berath's interruption caused her to lose focus. Snarling, she snapped and tried to get more space. I will do no such thing! He is ours!

not!> the green snarled, trying again to catch hold of Tatath. Save him, somehow, she had to! She had failed to protect everyone she had tried to stand up for today, she couldn't fail Natai's friend too! She was weak now, tired, bleeding, and her attempted grip on the smaller dragon was weak.

Acriculeth - Trying to flee with A'nos, Fick, Ficksk, Harmony and Harmonsk. @_@
Getting airborne was proving harder than he had anticipated. The green wher was wounded, dazed, and though her handler was calling to her to be calm she was squirming in Acriculeth's grasp. He didn't dare try to take off until he had a better hold on her.

S’dekai
He didn’t resist when Canoake threatened him and put him on board her dragon. Pioth was still alive, but defenseless; if S’dekai resisted, any dragon there could simply tear his throat out while he lay unresponsive. He settled himself onto Tatath’s riding straps with the defeated look of the hanged man.
...But Pioth. What were they going to do with Pioth? None of the dragons there could carry a fully grown bronze – were they going to leave him behind? No! Trine would kill him! They would see only an unconscious wherholder bronze and they would finish the job that his former allies had begun!
Berath’s intervention, however, was entirely unexpected, and provided a spark of hope. Some desperate possibility. It was a dire day indeed when S’dekai was relying on the generosity of Trine, but... A little green firelizard popped into the air, flitting around Berath’s head and transmitting a simple image: an image of unconscious, ichor-spattered Pioth. Hopefully she would understand the message, transmitted the only way that S’dekai could send it: don’t let them kill my dragon.

Tatath Still Attempting to Flee
Curse that green behemoth breaking her concentration! Looking down, she hissed towards Berath. The green had attacked her again but just barely missed her. If I drop him, he will fall and I might accidentally step on him. Go tend to the fallen bronze or one of my fellow holders will.

What was the right choice? If the wherholders took the rider they might well just kill him. If she didn't go to the bronze, the other green's threat might be carried out.... The message she had been sent was clear, the rider wanted her to care for his bondmate. If he died, the bronze died anyway, but if the bronze died and he lived he would suffer a far worse fate.
Eyes blazing red as rubies Berath backed down and moved over to Pioth, mantling one huge scarred and bleeding wing over his head. she hissed to Tatath,
