Darkrai fumed but he stayed in Akuma's shadow letting it do the talking for him. He would have just pretended like he wasn't there and let Indigo look like a crazy person but the teenager's pokemon were probably not going to let him keep up the charade. The Gallade was already looking at him and he didn't feel like experiencing a focus blast that afternoon.
The shadow yawned and stretched leisurely. It was really bizarre seeing Darkrai's blue and white eyes on the flat grey and the open mouth showed up as a dark red slit. "I wanted to see how long it would take for him to notice. That ticket will grant you safe passage there but you might wait a year or two to visit me for a battle seeing as I'm busy helping save the world. Shoo." the shadow crossed his arms and tapped his foot impatiently.

Indigo smirks at Darkrai "why not battle now? or are you scared?" he says crossing his arms showing no fear of Darkrai whatsoever "come on big man, show me what you got!" then he holds his hand out and waves his fingers as to say 'come here'

"Seriously?..." Darkrai just looked at the guy trying to decide if he should be merciful or just get it over with and take out Indigo. The hands of the shadow now were Darkrai claw shaped since he thought it would look more sinister pulling Indigo down that way.
Darkrai used Dark Void!
Indigo had better move fast. If Darkrai did stuff like this without the long prologue about how awesome he was it meant he wasn't playing around or was annoyed with people.

Claves Seranade If you think I'm a nice girl... Claves walked in and noticed that someone was talking to themselves and that something was trying to get at him and she grimaced, her sneasel was on her shoulder like usual and when he saw the boy and Claves' reaction he hopped down and showed off his claws. "Oi out of the way if you're going to fight whatever it is you're fighting do it somewhere where less trafic is." She said in a slightly sinister but slightly annoyed tone.
...you'd be suprisingly wrong.

ash quick as almost anyone could he grabs a pokeball, tosses it to the ground releasing his Gardevour that makes a protect just in time to block "woah, that was close!" he says then return Gardevour and grabs another pokeball "now, let's got this going!" then he tosses out his next Pokeball releasing his Lucario "let's do this Rio!" I say and stand ready for Darkrai to move

"I'm trying to make it so that's not an issue, he's the that idiot decided to challenge me here. I'd also avoid the pokecenter for a bit too if it's crowds you hate" Darkrai said with a tone that was far more annoyed than that of Claves. The black haired teen's shadow returned to normal as Darkrai 'walked' away still mimicking the shape of the shadow. He kept chattering trying to make it seem like he wasn't as focused and distract Indigo.
"See he'd challenged me earlier but then a buddy of mine needed me to come help out with some issues a mutual friend was having with sticking his foot in his mouth. There were a lot of people there and honestly I don't see why they needed-"
The shadow on the ground lunged for Indigo's pokemon in the middle of the longwinded rambling. For all his messing around he was fast with a speed to outstrip that of most rapidash. The Lucario would be hard pressed to hit Darkrai.
In the space of the Pokemon switch Darkrai had once again used Dark Void. Rio got to deal with it instead of Gardevoir and the ground rapidly dissolved into nothing beneath his paws threatening to plunge him into slumber.

Claves Seranade If you think I'm a nice girl... Claves heard Darkrai and upon seeing the shadow she was actually very excited at seeing a darkrai and not scared in the least bit, however she was still annoyed with the kid and sent out her cubone. "Cubone ready the bonemerang for when this battle is finished, make sure to aim for the boy." She said, her cubone nodded and stood in a readied stance as Chanto, her sneasel, hopped back on her shoulder.

"Rio!" Indigo yells as Lucario falls asleep but still stands "come on Rio, wake up bud..." he says watching Darkrai as Lucario sleeps "you gotta wake up.." Lucario flinches as Darkrai's Bad dream comes into play, Indigo not noticing Claves at all (sorry for the fail writing)

Darkrai grinned nastily. Indigo was not paying attention to strategy as much as waking up his friend which meant it would be simplicity itself to just put him to sleep and leave. Darkrai came up behind him and-
Dang it. He couldn't be mean to the trainer kid, not when he felt guilty for doing that. Knowing pokemon like Lucarios, the poor thing was probably dreaming that Indigo was hurt or something.
"*sigh* All right then, don't you have any awakening potions in that bag of yours? Chesto berries? The longer you stick around me the worse your dreams will be tonight too. Every time I go through a town the night after brings bigger electric bills. If I leave now you should be able to get by with just staying up a few hours later. Sound good?"
He hoped the mysterious teen hadn't left quite yet, he still needed to have a word with him.

Indigo jumps away from Darkrai and lands ready "this battle's not over yet!" he says glaring at Darkrai "and I'm only using one Pokemon!" he says looking almost ready to fight Darkrai himself "look I've never liked anything that terrorizes other people! I'm not letting the Pokemon who almost lives off that go without fight, a fight I'm winning!"

Claves continued to watch the fight, then upon hearing that the boy hated things that terrorized people she grinned and skipped over to Darkrai with a happy smile on her face. "Oh Darky mind if I help out, this boy is really getting on my nerves." She said in a happy tone, however she was giving off a sinister aura despite her wide and almost cute smile.

Indigo looks over at the girl "look, person, if you want to fight me, wait your turn, I'm battling Darkrai, just because you know he's going to lose dosn'r mean you can come jumping into our battle, now LEAVE!" Indigo says then looks back at Lucario "come on, wake up.."

"I do mind unfortunately. There's already enough trainers out there trying to catch me..." Darkrai said to Claves. He was rather impressed by how scary she could be wearing such a cutesy facade. That was a high compliment coming from the lord of nightmares. Darkrai didn't bother trying to explain to Indigo that he wasn't really terrorizing for evil purposes. Or explaining why he would not lose to Indigo. "If you have a problem with me giving people nightmares take it up with Cresselia, Giratina, or Arceus. Hey, come to think of it I haven't had a lecture from Cresselia in a while. Hmmm..."
Darkrai momentarily lost interest in the battle while he pondered that fact. It was a little unsettling but he'd been moving around a lot and she was trying to keep a low profile with Team Gamma around. At least that's what he told himself.

She said in a cute tone still giving off her sinister aura, she then backed off with a evil grin on her face. "I'll stay to finish off the scraps." She said in a more sinister tone.
