DaemonGabrielle Pelagious didn't really care what the judges thought of him. Though he did give Kleta a funny look when she backed away from him. Maybe it was relish? Or the drinks he had spilled on him earlier? Whatever the reason, at least she was willing to agree. He gave her the devil's grin. Then he grabbed her hand and druh her back out onto the dancefloor. Grabbing her hands, he assumed the tutored position. Then he bagn to dance. Dripping fluids and food, wrapped in the arms an erote, and praying that the judges were noticing his nakie, relish covered hiney. Oh yes. Pelagious was happy. And with this chipper, food covered smile he danced poor Kleta around the floor. Kleta was reluctant to return to the dance floor, despite agreeing to what Pelagious had wanted. This was certainly embarrassing, the goddess kept her eyes staring directly into Pelagious' only because she couldn't stand to look anywhere else, especially at mother. The way she kept her eyes glued to the other pae only made their dance look more sensual. A good thing, considering that this was the Argentinean Tango. She winced at his food covered smile, loss had not been very flattering for her partner, he looked a wreck. She finally led him off the dance floor when the dance was over. "There, we did what we could..."

Pelagious sighed as his partner tried to run off again. "How are you ever going to obtain glory and wide reknowned fame if you give up and run off like a scaredy cat?" he asked. He wasn't stupid. He had seen the blush of embarrassment. The reluctant stare into his eyes. The stiff movement.
Was he hyper? Yes. Overly emotional? Yes. Getting stale and krusty as the food and drink dried upon his bare flesh? Oh hell yes. But he was still giving it his all. He just couldn't understand why Kleta didn't want to give it her all as well. It was frustrating.
He gave a mighty harumph and shook his arm free of her grasp. "You know what?" he asked. "If you just can't see the why and how, then why don't you stand on the sidelines? Just like everyone else. I may not have won, but I am going to be seen and I am going to have fun." he stated. Then he turned and headed back out to the dancefloor. Aggravated and alone.

Yes, her name might be known if she continued to dance, but she would be known for ruining the finals of the competition, for being unable to accept a loss. She couldn't do it. She hated to disappoint the mortal, she honestly had hoped the one dance would be enough to please him, but alas. Kleta frowned at the pae, thoroughly frustrated with the scene he was creating, she tried to compose herself though, she was the mature, responsible goddess. "I hope you find what you are looking for." she responded in monotone. With that, Kleta disappeared to elsewhere so that she could be out of the public's gaze.

Abby frowned, waiting on the sidelines for her father to be eliminated. He and that girl were wonderful dance partners. The young adult couldn't be too mad about it. She did know that her grandmother was forcing all of her family to be up there dancing, though she really didn't understand why she seemed to be exempt from it. Maybe it was because Grandmother Venus didn't know about her?
Finally, one of the judges announced her father and Prisma having failed a round. A small smile graced her lips as the thought of finally getting a conversation with the man she looked so very much like... It was overwhelming. It took her a moment before she could wipe the grin off her face. It wasn't a good thing her father had been eliminated, but she was grateful not to have to wait any longer.
The blue femme fatal parted the crowd as she made her way to Pothos and Prisma. She had nothing against the woman, but she was still upset at Pothos. The grin she had been sporting a few minutes ago had turned to a frown. Abby wasn't happy. She'd been looking forward to seeing him all her life, and now.. Well it just wasn't she had imagined.
"Father..." She sounded as upset as she felt.

Artemis was getting bored. Too much time sitting still, plus too many dances. She had her chin resting on her hand, but she started to slip, catching herself before she hit the table. Ugh, how much longer would this go on? There weren't that many couples left, so it couldn't take that long...could it?

Okay, getting close to the end, so maybe it was time to stop playing her game and go back to scoring Eros and his partner for real. Antics aside, Artemis was getting bored of this game, and besides, she didn't really want the Erote to win. She held up a 5 for Eros and Diona, simply commenting, "Not bad, but I think it could have been better."

Hmm, maybe it was her waning attention span and increasing weariness, but it seemed like the dancers were starting to feel it too. No one was really impressing her thus far. She held up a 4 for Anteros and Yukiko. "I'm sorry, kids, but I'm not feeling it. There needs to be more energy to a line dance. Go sit down for a bit and see if you can't rest up a little before the next round, maybe."

'This is just getting sad,' Artemis thought to herself, watching quietly. "I'm sorry, hon," she said, speaking to the Fauny. "You can only drag your partner around for so long. I know you're trying, but he's really weighing you down. I'm afraid we have to judge the pair of you, though," she frowned, holding up a 4 for Dylo and Iris Topaz.

Stifling a yawn, Artemis was struggling by now. Why so sleepy all of a sudden? It wasn't as if watching others dance was tiring work! She held up a 4 for Hymnaios and Trixie. "Let's move on to something else, hmm? Maybe something a little more exciting and lively?"
