Mel heard the truck door close. Her eats had perked up at the sound, then dropped low as she realized what that meant. Her head was down a bit more. She hated to admit it, but James scared her, and she didn't think the anger or fear of him would be easy to get past.

James LeonHe took the food inside. And for the time did not bother to look for the girls. Now he just worked on going and getting all the food out of the truck. Only to put it up alone. Seeing how Mel reacted. She gone over to her and nudged her side. A look in her eyes said 'Don't worry'. Then she laid back down in a lazily way. Clearly not bothering to help as she let out a tiger sounding yawn. Not caring if James heard her or not.

Mel was slightly reassured when Athena looked at heri in that way that said not to worry. She sat next to the girl, and heard the loud yawn. In her mind she laughed. She wanted to be like Athena, and have no fear. Unfortunately that day wasn't today.

Sighing she finally stood up and stretched. Only to walk towards the house. In doing so she shifted and took a house robe down. Putting it on she waited on Mel'.

Mel followed, shifting and putting her own robe on. She did feel self-concioius. All she was wearing was the robe, and she knew James was in the house. She kept her arms close to her, wondering if he'd be surprised to know she had been playing outside.

James LeonTurned the TV on and flipped through the TV guide. When the girls walked in he glanced at them and blushed. Well more of blushed seeing Mel' in the robe. Getting to his feet he got a paper bag off the floor. Only to give it to Mel'. She walked in before Mel'. And just rolled her eyes. Seeing James offer Mel a present. Her eyebrow raised a bit. As she just booted her computer back up. Now wanting to talk to her friend again.

Mel blushed a tiny bit, and looked aside, angry that he was looking at her like that. She was glad she had the robe tightly tied. When he handed her a paper bag, she tilted her head. "Thanks..." she said. She opened it, and it was a book she had been wanting lately. She didn't know if she mentioned it to him before, or if he just guessed right. "Thanks James. How did you know? Or were you just guessing?"

Royce had gotten back online. Mostly looking for new weapons. Ones he could be farther away with. He didn't want to be that close to weres again. Too dangerous. And he never wanted an incident like Jane to EVER happen again. He logged onto his IM account in case one of his friends was online.

James LeonBlushed and watched her. He smiled when she said 'thanks'. It just made him happy. " I kinda figured from the books you had you liked that author. Plus they said it was the newest one out. Athena isn't big on gory books. She's not a softy were' just one who hates nightmares.", he said. It was true though. Well she slept he looked through the books. She heard James and just shrugged. As she briskly got her username and password in. Then once she looked at her IM bar she smiled. Before waiting on the unknowing Roy to IM her. Well she listened to Tangled soundtrack on her headphones. Not bothering to look anything up online yet.

Mel could tell it made James happy. Until now it didn't really occur to her that he may really be in love with her. "Yeah. I was gonna get this book next time I went to the bookstore." she said, suspecting he looked through her books. Hopefully that was all she did when she was asleep.

Mel nodded. When was the last time Melanie saw a movie? At least three months. She was fine reading scary books, but the movies made her jump. She always went with a friend, and clung to them, so it was always a female friend. It was different now. She knew this was just a way for him to try to win her over, but she may as well enjoy herself.
