Lisianthus stayed quiet. She was a fairy, she didn't really have 'family'. Just friends and coworkers. But no point in making him feel worse. "I'm not giving up on you that easily." she gave him a peck on the cheek. "Sounds like you're plenty capable of feeling cheer, you've just had bad luck."

Zelly-fangirl Lisianthus stayed quiet. She was a fairy, she didn't really have 'family'. Just friends and coworkers. But no point in making him feel worse. "I'm not giving up on you that easily." she gave him a peck on the cheek. "Sounds like you're plenty capable of feeling cheer, you've just had bad luck." "Maybe.." he said briefly showing his soft and tender side. Gently touching one of the curls of hair on her head he smiled at her softly. "Lis, is there something you've always dreamed for? Or maybe wished for?" he asked out of curiosity now.

Lisianthus giggled a bit, flinching slightly from the large finger playing with her hair, the tip of his finger as large as her head. "I've...never actually given it much thought..." she admitted while moving to walk sheepishly across the table in front of him. "I mean I'm not used to really doing my own thing or thinking about myself, you know? I guess it'd be nice to feel like one of those happy couples under the mistletoe for once..." she admitted while her cheeks turned a rosy pink.

(How about eventually they kiss underneath the mistletoe and she grows human size? ^^) Jowy crossed his arms. "So you mean like kiss and snuggle and such?" he asked. Lis was a weird one, still it was a nice thought. "Heh, you want me to feel the Christmas spirit and..I want you to get your wish. Maybe they'll both come true some time this year." he said looking forward blushing shyly.

((Oh, don't you worry about that. I have... ideas. wink )) "Something like that." Lis said with a smile. "But either way you take priority." she flew up and poked him on the nose. "If I get a mistletoe moment, great. If not, well I've gotten by this long already." she said with an easy shrug.

(Ahh...lol :3 ok I won't worry about it. ^^) He looked away blushing slightly, "Why do you care about me so much anyway? All I've done is wine, complain, and make fun of you this whole time. Why are you so intent on sticking around so much, other than giving me Christmas Spirit of course?"

"Even if it is my job, I personally don't like seeing someone so glum." Lis told him as she flew up to sit on his head. "Even if I had no obligations I'd probably stick around to cheer you up." she said scooching down and reaching for the corners of his mouth, pulling them up to make him smile.

"H-Heyy cutsh thatsh outsh!" he mumbled as she craned his mouth into a smile. "Dontsh presh your lucksh!" he grumbled swatting at her gently. Once she let go he looked up at her. "W-Well then, that's nice to hear." he said standing up and walking back over to the table with all the holiday sweets. "Seriously though, I'm going to get fat if I eat too much of this! You're going to have to help yourself to some as well. Just make sure not to go so...overboard next time on the cookies." he commented picking up the sprinkle covered snowman and taking a bite out of it contently. Not before breaking off a piece and holding it up to her to share.

"I make no promises!" Lis said with a cheery smile as she took the cookie. "Can't deny that it made you happy though." she pointed out at as she made herself comfortable sitting on his shoulder.

"W-Who said anything about it making me happy?" he looked away from her shyly blushing. She could tell it obviously did because Jowy couldn't hide his emotions well. "S-Still..that was very sweet of you to do so. Thank you Lisianthus." ((oh by the way, look for my thread in the holiday events! :3 It's called: Merry Christmas and all that Jazz. We can goof around and bump there. ^^))

((LOL. I found bumping in the threads to be too tedious. I've been donating a bunch of old, useless junk to Pete's dumpster for energy to redeem ornaments. XD )) "Can't have Christmas without Christmas cookies." Lisianthus said as she gave him a friendly peck on the cheek. "Now let's see what we can find to help that Christmas spirit of yours." she said while suddenly flying off to find a newspaper and what sort of local goings on would be appropriate for the season.

((Ahh I see. *shrug* Well I got a few ornaments from caroling, but I'm done with that. Too bad they didn't let you continue doing that. How much you get for donating btw? Points I mean.)) He frowned. "I'll eat cookies and sweets but there's no way I'm going to some cheesy outdoor event!" he pouted like a child, "I guess the next thing you'll expect from me is to wear one of those tacky Christmas sweaters!" he grumbled.

Lisianthus' laugh rang out like sleigh bells. "Don't worry, I'm not going to make you wear a tacky Christmas sweater. We actually kinda feel bad for people forced to wear those things. It's a nice sentiment to be giving someone a present, but those things really can be pretty ugly." she said while spreading out a newspaper on the floor and turning one of the massive pages. "Let's see...Christmas in the Park display, can't go wrong with seeing the Nutcracker...hmm..." ((One item gives you about 3% energy, I don't really know the value in points. I know it's not as much as you'd get from a post, but the process is faster over all in my opinion.))

((I see...interesting.)) He shook his head. "How about the Festival of Lights down at the Zoo? That's probably about the only thing you'll get me to do. I'm not going to see no girly play!" he grumbled. Though she looked funny, a small fairy flipping through a large newspaper magically, Jowy couldn't help but chuckle about that a little.

"Aw, but the music's just a part of the holiday season!" Lisianthus started humming the music, doing a bit of ballet in the air with a smile on her face. "But, Festival of Lights sounds good too. At least you're agreeing to something!"
