"Thats..."

"A Flame Crystal!" Eca looked at it curiously, she could get Mina's first armor module started. "I'll need more than just one. How many dd you get?" She asked the two.

"Oh, quite a few." Eric tapped the box and the entire room filled with them. "Will that do?"

"That's more than enough...I, I won't be able to sleep now!" Eca could salivate right now. She never saw so many flame crystals in her life. With so many crystals in a smal space, many of them that were close enough began to be absorbed into Mina's belly.

Eca zipped on past Mina, taking as many crystals as she could with her. "As long as it doesn't eat em all, I say don't deny it a little snack. Crystals can also be traded for all sorts of goods."

Dolan on the other hand, was all sorts of confused. "Wait, wait, baby?" He had no idea that Mina was pregnant, nor what she was pregnant with. "I'd never guess that, since you went to the guild, and was fighting better than most men. Thought you were just getting a beer gut, well congratulations then."

Eric turned to Mina, wondering if they should let Dolan in on their little secret. Eca, despite her personality, seemed to be really good at keeping secrets. Maybe Dolan would do the same.

"Hmm..." Eric looked at Mina, mostly from the side to get a better look at her. "Yeah you did. Huh, enough of those crystals are really potent stuff." He answered her, the child within her kicked about, not yet satisfied.

Eric nodded his head. "Yeah, I could go for some food myself. I don't think Eca would mind us helping ourselves."

Dolan stretched his arms. "Well you two go get some grub. As for myself, I'm going to step out. But you two should know, the guild higher ups set up that trap for you. Giant Centipedes are docile and beneficial to harvesting crops. I overheard them saying you stole something from the breeding house that belonged to them." He explained to Mina and Eric. This, along with her being pregnant, he was out of the loop.

"Stole something?" Asked Eric, he turned to Mina. If memory served correctly, the only thing they could have stolen from the breeding house was their belongings, that child and Eric himself who was their slave.

"With my help? I dont' recall being the one who knocked out all those guards." Said Eric jokingly. This did clear up some things, but led to more confusion. He turned away to go into the kitchen and prepare a well needed meal for himself and Mina. "So let me see if I understand this, the Breeders wants us back for that child, and the guild wants us dead for that child?"

"Well I don't know if dead was in the picture, but yeah headman Deos at the guild wants it. Enough to stir a Giant Centipede nest." Answered Dolan, he blinked when he saw the crystal being absorbed into Mina, her belly jiggled just a bit afterwards and a soft red glow appeared as fast as it faded away. "That's some trick you have there."

Dolan nodded his head. He thought it was possible, then again, he knew little about the breeding house's methods and less so about crystals. "I hope i'm not around for that or your mood swings. The latter if only because I hope swinging your sword isn't part of the changes. Well like I said, I'm going. You'd do good to leave town by tomorrow, just incase they try to get you again." With that said, Dolan waved goodbye to his new allies and left the shop.

The room continued to twinkle with a reddish tint due to all the crystals being around. Every so often, a crystal would come into contact with Mina, but their effects diminished after a small handful was absorbed. They just bounced off of her and floated elsewhere after that point.

Some time later, Eric returned with a plate of food for both of them. A bit of rice, potatoes, just anything he could have found in stock really. "Here you go Mina."He said as he handed her the plate.

Eric watched her play with the crystal and shook his head. He blushed when she came over to him and gave him a kiss. "I'll cook more often if that's my reward." He said in response, he brought a chair over and sat with her.
