Menolly happily complied, getting onto his back and hugging her arms around his shoulders. "Yay" She said with her normal enthusiasm, she was excited about this! Food being at the end helped a lot for excitement.

Wolfwood straightened slowly so he wouldn't jostle Menolly then he hooked his arms under her knees to keep her in place. "So what would you like, 'Olly?"

Menolly giggles at the nickname he gave her. What did she want? Good question. "I'd like chicken, please." Came her responce, it was a good fall back if you want something but don't know what.

ooc: I am so sorry, Elros. If I ever do something like this again, feel free to throw something at in pm style. I didn't mean to just vanish for so long!
IC: Menolly pounded before coming up with her answer, "Grilled, please." She didn't care if it was made on a real grill or heated on the stove. The fact that he was kind enough to ask was enough was wonderful. She enjoyed her time with him so much! Sure she missed her family, but she knew her twin could find her if he wanted to, so he would just wait for one of them to go after the other.
Looking to her chest, she brought one hand to touch her necklace. It connected the both of them, Eros and her. It could tell her if he really needed her help or not.

"Ok, grilled it is," Wolfwood chirped over his shoulder then started thinking about where he had last seen his grill pan. It had to be somewhere in his kitchen. Probably in one of the floor-level cabinets, shoved in back behind some other pots and pans..

Menolly looked over Wolfwood's shoulder, watching what he was doing. Then she moved to another cabinet and looked to see if she could help him look for anything. She paused only a moment when she could feel her stomach grumbling. It complained so much! When it hushed, she went back to tring to look around.

Wolfwood turned around and blinked when he saw Menolly bent over, rummaging through one of his cabinets. He took a moment to regain control of his mind from the perverted thoughts that had temporarily hijacked it then he walked over and gently tapped the female pae on the back. "You don't need to help me look Menolly."

Menolly looked over her shoulder at Wolfwood, innocently smiling at him as she straightened up, her back only a very tiny distance from touching his chest. She responded with, "I wanted to help. Can I do anything to help you?" Her head was tilted to the side as she awaited his answer.

At first, all Wolfwood could do was think 'Oh my gods, she's soo cute!' but, when he finally came back to himself, he reached out and grabbed Menolly, pulling her into a tight hug and then gently pressing his lips to hers.

Menolly was surprised, mildly confused and very happy. She put her arms around Wolfwood as he pulled her closer and enthusiastically kissed him back. She was far, far too happy to even begin to question why she was getting her current favorite contact.

Wolfwood held the kiss for a long time and, when he finally broke the contact, he was flushed and out of breath. "Sorry if I surprised you. It just had to be done," he said with a lop-sided grin, brushing Menolly's hair back from her face with his fingertips.

Menolly looked up to Wolfwood with dancing golden eyes, and she smiled at him. With a blush on her face, she responded, "That was the best surprise I could think of." She said that innocently, but her mind was wondering just what she did for it to have to be done, so that she could do it again.
Her head tilted just a tad under his fingers and she couldn't rest rising a hand to lightly stroke his cheek then playfully do what he was doing, pushing a big of hair from his face, granted, his hair was a lot shorter then hers and there wasn't much she could do, but her idea was if she liked it so much, maybe he would too.

Wolfwood laughed lightly, actually really enjoying having Menolly play with his hair. "Was it really? 'The best surprise you could think of', I mean," he said, looking down at her with his dark blue, almost black, eyes. "Because it can be arranged to happen again if you like.." wink

Menolly smiled widely at Wolfwood, her golden eyes sparkling as she looked into his eyes and listened. She nearly responded to his question in words, a blush already there as answer, when he spoke again. She very much looked like a child being told she could have her favorite treat again.
Playing more with Wolfwood's hair, noting that he had seemed to like it, she nods her head and tells him, "It was the best surprise, it really was." Then, with a warm smile still in place and her eyes, shining with the joy of the thought that it could happen again, she says in a soft tone, "I would really like for it to happen again." Her eyes never leave his as she kept looking up at him and awaiting what would happen next.
