Oh, another glint!
Molly’s hand dove into another cold puddle, but once again, she pulled out another dull colored brittle piece. The young woman frowned, clearly disappointed, before she too put that piece back into the puddle. She was trying, really! Molly straightened herself out, wiping her hand on her coat before she paused and listened to her fellow hunters and trainees share pleasant memories. It really helped to draw her away from the ominous and dismal environment, and she couldn’t help but smile softly at some of the stories. She lived for moments like these. Learning more about other people and reflecting on happier, funnier times.
It got her wondering what a good, funny memory was for her…Hmm, well, it was embarrassing, but that was kind of the point?
“One summer, we were at a park for the fourth of July fireworks…there were a lot of people there, so they had porta-potties! Well, my little sister really had to go…and all of them seemed occupied, except for one…” She paused. “My little sister told me I should knock before I open it, incase someone was in there, but I told her that that was silly, because if there was someone in there, they would lock it! Well…” She rubbed her cheek sheepishly. “I opened the door, wiiide open, and there was uh…someone using it. I was so surprised I slammed it shut while the person tried getting his pants up and I pulled my little sister away…” She chuckled as well. “She said ‘I told you so’.”

More dark spaces. Otto fought with himself not to whine, holding his stomach with a free hand as he descended down the stairs. As he reached the bottom, immediately his shoes filled with water as he sloshed through. Great. He was now cold, wet and scared to death. Otto almost yelped as Eva bumped into him, relaxing ever slightly that it was her and not a man eating shadow beast. Her hushed concern was met with a small groan and shake of his head. "Not good.." He murmured softly. He kept his head bowed low, pretending he was looking for tablets, and not hiding from the world. Quote: 21-40: You smell something putrid, a ripe, sharp smell, but moving your flashlight down the area yields only an endless darkness further beyond. You try to search for a tablet, but see nothing. He crinkled his nose at the sudden smell, hoping to every God imagined by Man that it wasn't a zombie invasion.

Quote: 41 - 60: You nearly trip over something, what seems to be a dislodged piece of stone. Upon moving your flashlight over it, you realize it is a weapons tablet. Otto continued to stare at his feet as he slowly sloshed about, which is a wonder, because he somehow managed to trip despite staring downward. Now both his shoes and knees were soaked. Awesome. However, as he cursed to himself he felt his hand graze over what it was he'd tripped on. Lucky him. He found a tablet. Still, it was a small victory. Otto was no shaking from fear and being freezing cold. Disgruntled, he pocketed the tablet.

Quote: 61 - 80: You see something glint in the water, and you quickly pick it up. It is a piece of a shattered something that is curved and brittle to the touch, coloured a dull yellow-white, but unfortunately not a weapons tablet. While he was down in the water, he figured he might as well see if there was another tablet nearby. He felt around the cold water, using his flashlight to look for reflected light. He liked it better here. Close to the ground. The water helped make the light seem brighter. His searching earned him a rather pretty rock. Useless, but pretty.

Hazel gagged in her mouth when that same putrid smell stung her nostrils.
Perhaps it was the area she was standing around that had the smell, but either way, Hazel felt she couldn't hold it much longer. She covered her mouth with her free hand, "I'm gonna be sick..." Her face began to turn green, trying to reach into the waters to find a tablet.
Nothing.

Suddenly, Hazel thought she heard clicking noises. She perked her ears and stared into the darkness. "What was that?" she said with an alarmed look like a deer in headlights.
< . . . >
"You're a lot of help..." Hazel rolled her eyes at Sabin as she walked along the walls. She lifted up her flashlight and shined it from one place to another in the water. Problem was, the water seemed dark, and hard to see.
Still nothing...
Hopefully the other trainees had more luck.

This was a rescue mission, he guessed. If something happened to him, he wouldn't want B0nez to rot underwater in a cave.
Aw, thanks, B0nez said insincerely.
But he was quieter than usual. Harrison could tell it bothered him.
The ground was uneven, and there were indentations that weren't people-shaped. He slid along one in a semi-circle....horseshoes? Were they horseprints? The ones on the island hadn't been near that big...
People were finding a lot of tablets.

"Yeah I'd say that's a trend with him. Disappearing I mean. When he called this mission together we were all surprised to see him. He'd been MIA for a while.. at least for us. When we first started he gave us all of our missions pretty much." Bix frowned and kept his voice very low. 'The Strays' had dealt with the derisive belittlement for the beginning.
Suddenly a disgusting breeze drifted past his nose. His face screwed up and he shot his light into the darkness. There was nothing there and certainly no tablet glaring him in the face.
He listened silently to the stories and indeed knew that Gale had a sister. He'd made enough jokes about hitting on her when she awoke and earned plenty of punches from Gale himself. Bix just smiled. He had a few stories of his own but he wasn't sure if he felt up to telling them right now.

leon knew one thing and one thing only.
Rep needed a mouth gag to go with his attire. Listening to the bloke speak while he searched around the floor for a weapon tablet wasn't exactly on top of his list of things the boxer was dying to do. The life hunter let out a scoff, dust flying up from his sudden expulsion of air from his mouth as he went back to the search.
"It would be much easier if the tablets could respond to us, like how our weapons did." he grumbled out lowly. -Well i'm special Meathead. SPECIAL.- Nid insisted not long after he said it, like a kind of petulant child, that had its balls drop along with its voice far too early in life. "More like a ******** pain in my head." he corrected his spirit voice. as he touched the suspicious curve of stone in the floor daintily.
The last thing he wanted to set off was some trap with even more arrows, but after wincing and praying that it wasn't a set up, the crevice produced nothing. Nothing but disappointment and a scowl on the hunters face.

"Well isn't this MAGICAL." Leon practically seethed out into the darkness, waving the flashlight back and forth with one hand. The other hand was balled up into a compact, battle ready fist to punch anything that tried to get in his way.
Punching all the things was sometimes to hard to get out of his system.
"That weapons tablet better be worth it!." it better not be an hourglass too, or he'd make sure to hit Jude over the head with it. And Rep, just for good measure.

And due to the exhaustion of Leon's owner...
Leon kicked a rock to the side in frustration and found out that it was no ordinary rock. "Got one!" the meathead said sheepishly, hoping that the abusive kick didn't break it as he tucked the weapon tablet into his vest for safekeeping.

Harrison listened quietly to some of the stories, and fished up some more remains. This was a forensics job.
He hadn't heard any more clicks, but he doubted arrows were the only traps here.

"Come on, guy," Harrison muttered, flashing his flashlight along the edges of the room. "You want to stay down here?" It was hard to tell the bones from- what was that. Harrison stowed his flashlight and rescued the stone from the water, wiping off the muck and water with his hands.
Hostage get. I hate escort missions.
"Good choice," Harrison said, keeping it quiet, "me and B0nez are gonna get you back to the base." He hoped. He stowed the tablet in his inside-jacket pocket.

Reine could hear the splashing before she reached the water. As if it wasn't cold enough, already, she didn't want the water sopping into her boots, probably freezing her toes off. Why.. why weren't they waterproof?
It was the first time she'd seriously considered that a change in her normal attire really might be for the better.
Taking a deep breath, she moved downwards, until she reached where everyone else was, in the water. Maybe she could just pretend she was wading in a kiddy pool, in the summe-- okay, she couldn't. Just. Couldn't.
Despite having her torch shining at the area in front of her, Reine managed to trip over something or other- was the ground.. uneven? She couldn't even manage to make out anything, as hard as she squinted, so instead she moved her foot around, tracing the shape of semi-circular holes in the ground.
Ughh, weird. But still no tablets.

Moving on, Reine thought, shrugging. Except the next step had her tripping again, almost falling face-first into the water. Was the ground covered in these potholes?
Whyyyyyyyyyyy.
