Vale sighed closing his eyes. "Honestly. I don't believe the Uchiha should be returned to their former glory. I was merely following my cousin because he is family. While I wish to see my clan restored, I don't think it' the right thing to do. Especially if Sasuke is the Head of the Uchiha..."

Chi turned back to Vale with a confused look on her face, tilting her head at him. "Then... what's the point of avenging Itachi's name if it's not to help your fallen clan? Is it that bad if Sasuke is the Head of the Uchihas?"

Chi sighed but nodded. "I-i guess so... Bu-ut how come Sasuke has to be the Head? It shouldn't be the oldest or whatever that gets to be the Head of a clan. It should be the one, in this case, who redeems the clan's name." Just in case Vale didn't get the point, she faked a cough. "You."

Vale sat there for a moment before chuckling to himself. "It's not about who redeems, but who's strongest. I'm already half blind. There's no way I can beat Sasuke. I appreciate you believing I should be the head. You're to kind to me."

Chi frowned a bit at the mention of Vale being blind but didn't mention anything about it for now. Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke... That's all I here anymore when the Uchihas are mentioned... He doesn't deserve to be Head of his clan... She got up quietly and moved to the window, sitting on the windowsill and looking outside at the village. "Is there any other way to fix your eyesight other than taking another's Mangekyo?" she asked out of the blue.

"Ok..." Chi remained quiet after that, crossing her arms over her chest as she started out the window. It was in that silence that she let her mind wander about the Uchiha's, mainly the Mangekyo. I wonder what Sasuke's Mangekyo is like...

Vale just laid there, quiet, both his eyes closed. It was noticeable before but he actually looked tired, and older than he was. There was a few grey strands in his silver hair.

Chi glanced back at Vale with a soft smile, walking over to the bedside and brushing some hair out of his face. She caught the difference in the gray strands hidden within the silver, but she didn't ask about it. "You get some rest. If something feels off or if you feel like you're getting sicker, be sure to say something," she said gently.

Vale looked up at her for a moment, worry crossing his face before he relaxed and nodded. "I will..."

Chi raised an eyebrow slightly at first, but when Vale relaxed, she only smiled again. "I'll be back in a little while, I promise." With that, she turned on her heel and left the room. She had to first get another injection of her own cure before slipping into one of the currently unused rooms for a quick nap. She needed to get some rest too, after all, and resting after an injection helped with the healing process. Once her head hit the bed, she was out like a light.

Chi was asleep for only about an hour before she woke up again. It wasn't necessarily for her sake, but for the fact Vale would need a second injection of the cure soon. With a yawn, she left the room and headed back to Vale's, knocking lightly on the door and opening it, rubbing her eyes. "Hey Vale? Sorry to bug you. Time for the next dose of that cure though.."

Vale stirred lightly, and to that, the shadow quickly disappeared. "Chi? Y...Yeah, come in." he said groggily.
