Targeting
Of course, apparently whatever she'd turned to, others had already destroyed. Well, that was unfortunate (well, fortunate that it was dead, unfortunate that she didn't get to shoot it). Vanessa turned, trying to locate a 'living' thing to shoot at. That would definitely improve Christmas. Yup.
An evil santa would have to do. There was only room for one evil santa in her heart, and that place was already filled by a certain, green who. This one would just have to go down.

I changed my mind about hitting snow, Ferros said brightly as he materialized in Jordan's hand. Okay with it now.
I thought you might be. Jordan swung at the snow sculpture, knocking off a nondescript snow chunk. He received a snow fist to the face for his efforts.

Sherry went back in for another attack. It almost felt wrong attacking Santa, but it had to happen. Of course, almost missing was just frustrating.

Being mistaken for Santa, at this point in time, was possibly the worst insult someone could throw at him.
Ryan was too shocked to even attack.

Minnie didn't take the loss personally at first. The Grinch snowman was awesome. She knew it was awesome. Vanessa knew it was awesome. Losing definitely sucked some serious a**, and it meant she might spend a few more hours rolling snow into formations while things would have died down..
But then they attacked.
The finalists.. the snow sculptures.. they were ALIVE. And they were destroying EVERYTHING in their paths.
Including the Grinch.
She stood for a long while watching the battle rage on, turning to Vanessa slowly with her jaw slacked and her eyes wide. A part of her hated knowing that not only were they not in the final running for presents, but the snowmen who were, were also living things. Living, attacking things. How did they get them to do that?!
Minerva probably sulked in place for too long, watching as all but one of the final snowmen were down and out for the count. Maybe she should do something to help? Maybe.

"KILL THE b*****d sorry, Santa, I'm sorry," Madison yelled from her pile of snow. The head of a dead mini-snowman was still impaled on the heel of one of her shoes.

"Working on it," Jordan yelled back to Maddie, and darted in for another swing at the snow beast. Ferros growled gleefully as he slammed another chunk out of the thing. I'll melt it!
"Sorry, Santa," Jordan muttered under his breath. It wasn't the real Santa, but he still sort of felt bad. ... It was a good thing they hadn't gotten a chance to show Mrs. Claus.

Vanessa summoned Volt, swinging the large cannon up to her shoulder as he materialized in her hands. The sparks frizzled inside the electrical chamber as she aimed, her scowl deepening toward the santa impersonator of evil.
No one ruined Chirstmas. Not on Vanessa's watch.
Especially not when they were attacking what Minerva and herself had worked so hard to build. She shot, then looked to Minerva with a gaze that could only be, "I feel for our loss too". The Grinch, the poor...poor Grinch. Vanessa could never forgive the snowy monsters before her.

The thing was almost entirely crumbled away, staggering drunkenly and colliding with the combatants. Unfortunately, its erratic gait meant that it wobbled sideways at Jordan swung, and the hammer missed entirely. The flames might have melted a little off the thing's side, but it was hard to tell.

Vanessa frowned at the santa again, pulling up her weapon for another shot. This santa could never be considered the real evil santa for her. Always, that part of her heart would belong to their grinch. the minsule part that loved evil santas. Okay, the Joy was definitely rattling her mind now. That much was clear.
In any case, Vanessa grit her teeth and aimed once again at the snowy enemy, her tesla cannon braced to her shoulder. Without a regret, she ppulled back on the trigger. Her attack once again only skimmed. It seemed she would have to try harder if she wished to destroy this santa for real.

Santa was almost dead! With all the attacks from everyone here, there was hardly anything left to him. Not that Ryan cared, especially after receiving another punch from the snow sculpture. He wanted this evil imposter, who had ruined his image of Santa, to disappear.
With absolutely no remorse, Ryan pulled his fist back and punched the snow sculpture directly in the face; watching with satisfaction as Santa's head flew right off his shoulders.

"What!" Harrison said, reflecting only for a moment on the beautiful lost angel and two-headed reigndeer. But how could he be sad when there was so much snow all around them! Warm from all the hugging, he turned to Before with a smile, "...We'll just have to build another one."

Then it was gone. Evil Santa was headless and defeated.
Sherry immediately forgot about the abomination. She turned to find her pony. She had a feeling it was gone forever, but she wanted to see it one last time. It had been a good pony. More or less.
((And now I have to AFK for a few hours. Watch out for that missing sculpture, gang! ))
