Uragiri peered out from her hiding place while still clinging to her purse like a lifeline. The house seemed to shiver and shake and was now attacking another ghoul with her arms full of needles. What a mean house! It ruined everything!

That needle armed ghoul was a potential future friend!

The young kiyohime once again felt her fear melt away and her rage start to fill her. She stood up and ran at the house, with a tiny leap she hit the ground near the house, slamming her feet down and slamming her tail down as well.

She'd only ever used her FEAR accidentally... once. It seemed that her deliberate attempt was a failure and the expected rippling impact was no more than a shudder on the mall floor. Ri-ri suddenly found herself very embarrassed at her failure, face turning bright red.

Status: The house drops a hard, stale gumdrop on the kiyohime's head for her impertinence, doing 6 damage! But it seems that the needles sticking out of it have hit a vital area, cracks spread more rapidly through the houses structure!

Pepin felt like the data freezing in her body was starting to reminisce feet in concrete. WHATEVER THAT FELT LIKE.

"Ugh can we please get done with this game already??!" she pouted, of course dismissing the idea of maybe running to another corner of the mall.

She didn't want to leave this ginger hizzy in any hopes of stealing some of its fragmented data it was leaving behind. Granted she could really do nothing but eat it and suffer.

Staring at Uragiri when she got pegged in the head the glitch ghost impeded with a headshake. Before she could speak though she conjured an idea. "Ladies-" she pointed to Lattice now. "We should put together our collective might in some inspirational fashion- yanno, maybe the hizzy.."

her voice trailed when she looked around noticing everyone else starting to get flat out tired. "Wait... why don't we all ditch this thing and find somewhere else to play video games huh?" she asked. Yep, this whole thing was just a grind fest to her. A stomach achy, ugly, smelly house boss in a game.

Ri-ri was about to spout another smaller pillar of flame when the house dropped a gumdrop on her head. It was a gumdrop about as big as her head which was pretty hefty and left the tiny ghoul wobbling uneasily on her feet.

"I like fashion....." She giggled, still dazed, in response to Pepin's statement. "I love your outfit ... by the way.. so unique.." She bobbled backwards to safety, still seeing stars a bit, and wasn't really able to get her wits about her until she plopped down onto her behind. Once the daze wore off she was a bit more bright eyed.

"I don't want to leave! Well I do but this stupid house needs to pay!!" The ghoul gave both Lattice and Pepin a reaffirming look.

"Your needles were awesome! You should hit it again!" She tried to get Lattice's attention and pointed at the house emphatically.

It had only been a short break from the chaos really but Titus felt he was mingling with commoners all too soon again. Heaving a sign he took a seat at a table kicking a chair out of the way. Said chair went tumbling away and into the house though it didn't seem to do much damage. No matter. It wasn't like he was helping anyway.

TG, with shorter legs, was lagging behind, but made it soon after. He was a tad winded, and felt ready for a nap. All this fighting and being attacked was not his style and it was starting to wear him down. As it was, he looked up at the house and saw it was not only still alive, but looking...grayer. Maybe it was rotting. Gingerbread sure didn't seem to keep.

As it was, he didn't care for it either way. Seeing one chair being kicked out. TG picked up....a tray. What? Chairs were big! He couldn't lift one up, and the tray he threw last time did a fair bit of damage anyways. He aimed, threw, and watched it hit the house's side.

At the entrances of the Maul, there was a great and sudden crash, and cloaked figures began to make their way through, destroying Christmas creatures in a smooth, organized wave of controlled violence. A group approaches the food court, FEAR attacks at the ready, and a female Boogeyman turns to the shoppers still fighting and says, "You've done well to survive this long, but we're here now, so you can go home. Stay indoors if at all possible until this blows over."

Throughout the Maul, the Boogeymen have begun to take down the enemies, as well as ushering out the previously trapped shoppers.

The Maul is now open! Shoppers are free to leave, or remain and attempt to hold their own amongst the boogeymen as they take down the holiday invaders! Students who try to enter Amityville will find that not only is the school missing, but that Boogeymen have blocked minors from entering the area! Horsemen, ToTers, and school staff members not currently trapped inside the school do have access.

Lattice felt a bit distracted as she tilted her head toward Pepin for a second, "Hm? What if it follows us if we leave or even worse hurts others...It already hurt Freya quite a bit," she murmured with concern. Naturally the other JOY creatures that invaded didn't help either but still.

She let out a small tired sigh before her attention turned toward the new person she did not recognize the shape of, "Oh! Thank you very much, sadly I can only do that a limited number of times right now..."

The presence of Boogeymen suddenly appearing and 'freeing' them all caused her to trip as she went to move in and make an attack. Yet she didn't move to leave. She wanted to see this finished but if she had to and if her friends insisted she would leave with them...

Ri-ri had never been so happy to see Boogeymen. She'd always found them frightening from how they looked in the magazines, but now that they were saving her monstrous butts, they were the coolest things ever!!

She ran up to Lattice and grabbed one of her hands in both of hers, webbed fingers tightening around it. "Oh but it was very impressive!! I'm Ri-ri..." But before Lattice could respond she bit her lip and looked towards the exit.

"We should leave.. go home.. or school.. " For the others. She was just supposed to catch a cab home. "You were amazing.. again." She also smiled at Pepin. "I'm going to try and leave!"

Just when TG was going to resume the fight, the fuzz came, and the imp was glad for it. It was about TIME the authorities actually did what their tax seeds paid them to do! In fact, he was wondering why it took them THIS long. If a mob of undead could enter a Maul, you'd THINK a group of well-paid, "qualified" Boogeymen could get off their uniformed rumps and do something.

As ti was, he just walked off, glad they were here to at least be janitors and clean up, while the imp left the Maul. Yes. He was SO done with this place. he was calling his ride up this instant and going home where he could rest where it wasn't freezing cold. "Later, Titus. Don't get molested by any more pink ghouls - unless you want it."

A pair of Boogeymen approached the engraver, faces stern. One of them, a female patchwork of sorts, scowled at the ghoul and snapped out harshly, "Didn't you hear her? Time for little scarelings to scamper on home and get to bed."

Her partner, a large swamp creature grumbled and then spoke in an oddly high voice, "Let's just escort her out, looks Amityville, and you know how those brats can be. Prolly go hide somewhere in the maul if left running around."

The patchwork gave Lattice a measuring look and snorted, "Sounds about right. C'mon ghoul, we'll show you the exit."

Lattice was resistant, "I heard her just fine," she said her face looking blank of any emotion at all. Yet being called a 'brat' amongst other things made the corner of her lips quirk downward in disapproval, "We are not just scarelings and brats to be tossed aside as if we mean nothing. We have been in here holding our own against other beings before you got here."

The usually docile Engraver was becoming more and more rebellious as time passed while she was at the school.

She glanced back over at where she had last seen Herryk and Freya or rather their shapes, "Besides..I cannot..leave until I know..."

Yet more stubbornness.

The two looked as each other, nodded, and then converged on the engraver.

"Right then," the swamp creature answered tersely, and grabbed the slightly less painfully pointy part of her arm, "...ouch! s**t! Make this fast!" It hissed, it's large hands tightening.

The smaller patchwork, quickly darted in and slapped the ghoul with...handcuffs?! On them was a strange rune that glowed with a bright, painful blue once they closed.

There were things Lattice would have expected and this was not one of them. She struggled as they grabbed her, "No! Do not touch me!"

She needed an adult.

Lattice was trying to resist, trying very hard to resist. Struggling and even as she was being handcuffed she tried to forcefully push herself (with her spiked arms prominent) toward her captors but found that she was mostly going to stumble back and almost fall as she let out a small hiss under her breath.

"What are you doing?! This is unneeded." she growled a bit her distress showing as she tried to wiggle free of her bondage.

The handcuffs began to make her feel slightly weakened, not much at first but...soon it turned familiar. Of anyone, Lattice knew the feeling of FEAR suppression all too well. The two began to push and drag her along...in a direction that didn't lead to the Maul exit at all, but rather toward...a bathroom?
