Dementia sighed and walked her two brothers back to school. She didn't like that she had to, but they couldn't find their way on their own. She herself was kind of sick of having to be there, so as soon as she had pushed the two little kitsune's through the door she turned tail and tried to escape.
Sniffling at the way that his sister had run off, tobias sat on the floor, his tails wrapped around him and his hands out.
Adon, being a bit bigger and much bolder than his little brother laughed and promptly got up to toddle into the room looking for something to play with.

Spiro... Was in shock. He had been just quietly piecing together the puzzle and then he was being pounced. Being -touched-. He was completely baffled as to why, or what he had done, not quite understanding what 'tickling' was, or that there was friendly physical contact. He gave a choked noise, feeling for a moment as if his heart had stopped, and then there was just a flash, the tiniest hint of panic- reminiscense in those eyes.. And then his tail lashed out at the two, obviously not with enough for to hurt anyone in the least- And then he was scrambling away- Away from the other's, huddling himself beneath the table, looking out towards them with an expression of utter confusion..

It was Avery's turn to be in shock. He sat where he was, after being pushed away, and stared at Spiro, and then at Colette. Huh? Why'd he run... uh, oh... His eyes widened as he realized how Colette would probably take this, and attempted to apply damage control, though he had no idea how to do such.
"Uh? Spiro? Are you okay? I'm sorry, it was my idea... It was supposed to be a game, I didn't know you didn't like to be tickled... Are you mad at me?" He attempted to scoot closer, slowly, his hand outsretched, palm up, in supplication, his expression both remorseful and worried.
He hoped Colette wouldn't get really upset, because then he would be totally out of his league, and have to go get an adult. And he wanted to take care of himself.
((oh, yeah, it's official. When I get tired, I get verbose and stuff. rolleyes I used about three words that were not necessary, and that I never use in normal speech.))

If Spiro was confused and shocked before, now he was utterly baffled. AVERY was apologizing? SPIRO hadn't done anything wrong? They weren't upset with HIM?.. They hadn't meant to harm him?.... It was... A game...? He gave a tilt to his head, brows furrowing slightly, seeming perplexed for a mere moment.. And then he regained composure, giving a shake to his head, "I'm not mad... But.." He stared down towards the ground for a moment, still feeling uncertain.. And perhaps a piece of him worried he would be pounced again.. He seemed to relax after awhile, teeth worrying over his lower lip.. "But.. I don't.. Understand... Tickled?" What was 'being tickled'? Was this 'tickling' thing what they were doing? It was.. Some sort of.. Game?.. Well, he wasn't quite sure he liked that game.. Whatever it was.

Revenant looked around at his surroundings. He was nervouse about his new surroundings, but also glad he had been unnoticed. He found himself some blocks and began making himself a wall, unconciously turnign as he built, making a cage for himself. If it was to keep himself in, or others out it was unknown.

Avery sighed with relief, glad that Spiro wasn't mad at him... but with the next sentence, it was his turn to be confused.
"You don't know what tickling is? Wow. Uhm, well, tickling is when someone gets a hold of someone else and... uh..." he trailed off, trying to figure out how to put the concept into words. He'd never thought about it before.
"You move your fingers like this!" and he demonstrated, staying where he was, making spidery motions at the air with his fingers. "And you touch someone's ribs, or their feet, and it feels good, so you laugh! Or, I do anyway. Sometimes I laugh so hard it's hard to breathe! Ritsu doesn't, he just flails about and runs to hide. Mom isn't ticklish at all, so she's no fun for this game, but Alida's ticklish, just not as much as me!" Once Avery had warmed to his topic, he had gone into his usual over detailed explanation with enthusiasm.
He thought for a moment, and then looked at Colette with a tilted head. "Colette, are you ticklish?"

Tobias crawled around, his small form worming its way under tables and around objects, looking for something to do. He stumbled over some blocks, his many tails knocking them around and swishing wildly. He wasn't trying to make things messy, it just tended to happen when the little kitsune wandered. Seeing something he wanted out of his reach, he made his way to a table and tried to get at a cup filled with crayons. "....!"
Adon crawled around as well, but he made his way to the nap mats and curled up on one, stucking his thumb in his mouth.

Hiro continued to glance around. Was there actually anything to do in this place? Or did he just have to sit there and do nothing until he could go home again? Many thoughts ran through his mind as he sat there on the rough carpet. His sheep body made him somewhat blend into the suroundings as there was many soft plush toys around him.

Colette almost had a heart attack from spiros reaction, not the same kinds as his though.. her heart had immediatly gone to her throat as soon as she relized he didn't like being tickled.. at all. She was about to go into a fit, trying to apologize.. but Avery had started talking. Thank goodness.. she sat back, biting her lip and giving a solem apology.. not like her normal ones where she yelled. This was quiet and much more serious... "I'm.. sorry Spiro, it wasn't all avery. I agreed to it.. When mom tickles me.. its fun. But i'm sorry you don't like it, I won't do it again okay?"
She went silent again, watching when they talked again.. She gave a faint smile when Spiro seemed to relax again.. he reminded her of yuki-onii-san.. he recoiled whenever she got near him. Almost deathly frightened.
She listened as Avery explaind it, nodding along and tilting her head to the side. "Yes! its really fun.. sometimes it hurts.. but your laughing too hard to care. I think its kinda like a caring thing..You can't jsut tickle strangers, after all.. just friends!" she smiled more.. though she still felt bad for upsettig him, somehow she knew now wasn't the time to show how she felt.. she needed to be happy right now.
Colette's large blue eyes blinked and she nodded to avery "Uhm, yes, alot! expesially my sides.." she giggled a bit "Spiro if you want you could tickle me.. maybe it'd make you feel better? I'll try not to fight it!" she lifted her arms in the air to expose her sides, a bit nervious.. but still smiling. It was hard to just let yourself be tickled.

Avery grinned, bouncing a little. It wasn't every day someone offered themselves up to be tickled. It seemed odd to him to offer, somehow... like you were supposed to be surprised by being tickled. But since she had... He took a cautious look at Spiro, wondering what his reaction would be.
If he doesn't, why waste a good chance? Maybe we can get into a tickle fight! He bounced some more, but stayed where he was, showing just a little of the restraint that he had been learning from Rime over the months. But it was still so hard to fight his impulses to do whatever he wanted.
"C'mon, Spiro, it doesn't hurt... if she hadn't offered, I was gonna... But I think I'm a lot more ticklish than she is, I'm more ticklish than everybody!" Avery grinned.
They were probably becoming quite the spectacle for any other kids that were there in the courtyard... after all, it wasn't a regular occurence for someone to hide under the picnic table, or for someone to offer to let themselves be tickled. But Avery didn't care, people could think whatever they wanted, and he'd still be himself.

A tilt was given to his head, gaze drifting uncertainly between the two. A reassuring nod was given at Colette's apology, before burrying itself into his knees which had at some time curled up to his chest. Spiro's tail coiled itself about one of his legs, teeth worrying at his lower lip.
So... It was... A game. Well, that sure explained it. He had never truly.. Well, played with anyone before. Except for little things, like puzzles and some easy board games. Most of which, he did with Freize, of course. He shifted slightly, head lifting.. He looked towards Colette, not responding right away, merely pondering the offer.. Not wondering if he should take it up, but why she would offer it to him. How curious. He then turned his attention to Avery.. And once again was silent.
And then his head slowly shook from side to side, "No. I can't." He couldnt'. He couldn't touch anyone. That was just.. Impossible. Beyond comprehension. No way. And he didn't like being touched, either.

Avery seemed to droop a little bit, wilting in the face of Spiro's refusal. "Aww..."
He sighed, and looked over at Colette, thinking she would probably be more disappointed... since she had been the one to offer. "You can't...? Well... what if... I tickled Colette... or Colette tickled me? Then you could see it's nothing that can hurt you. ... Or... we could just go work on the puzzle again..." He really didn't want Spiro to get mad at him. Despite his not liking touching, Avery liked Spiro, and wanted to keep being friends with him.
A cab pulled up at the gates of the preschool, and when the door opened, Rime carrying a small girl on her hip exited. Rime walked toward's the building's entrance, and noticed Avery near some of the other kinder, and waved... but she wasn't noticed, and she sighed. The girl in her arms shifted, and looked sleepily in the same direction, before returning to her previous languid pose, her snake tail curling around both of their bodies.
Rime entered the building, and a few minutes later, exited, alone, and returned to the waiting cab, which left.
Inside the preschool, Sybil sat where she had been placed when Rime kissed her goodbye, and looked around. Over in the corner there was a stack of bean bag chairs, which looked rather comfy... She stood up, and straightened her new sweater before heading their way and burrowing in amongst them.
Mmm... I was right. Comfy. I think I'll stay here a bit before I go look at everything else.

Colette blinked and lowered her arms smiling "Okay.. if your sure." she smiled brightly shelooked voer to avery a bit shocked at herself suddenlly "Ah! i'm sorry" she raised her arms up immediatly "I didn't offer to you too.." she blinked holding her arms up persistantly, she never would have thought holding your arms up so long would start to hurt. But she wouldn't lower her arms, nope. Though her determination had caused a wierd concentrating expression to plaster itself on her face.

Spiro watched, the faintest of smiles creeping itself across his face. A shake was given to his head, and he shifted to crawl from beneath the table. He stood, stretching a bit, gaze drifting over the puzzle that had been left neglected.. "Why do you always want to make everyone so happy...?" Directed towards Colette, of course. "I'm sorry... I think I'm going to take a walk.."
His tail swished calmly behind him as he spoke, no longer wrapped about his leg. It could be considered amazing how quickly he got over his own emotions. "Thanks... For... Playing with me." Was that right to say? Ah.. He didn't really know too much about all of this 'friend' stuff, and so he was unsure about everything he said to them. He didn't want to mess up, although that fear was never visible. He began walking off, towards who-knows-where, arms folded over his chest. All of this socializing had worn him out..
